“Rats!”

Baekhyun growled, kicking the small rodents away from his feet.

“Hey, careful, that’s our dinner!”

Joonmyun complained, trapping one of the small animals in his hands, his fangs already out and ready to feast.

“Rats, rats, rats! Every day, the same thing, I’m tired of this!”

Baekhyun protested, holding onto his brother’s shoulder with one hand and using the other to keep him from feeding off of the squealing animal.

“I want human blood. Warm, tasty, human blood.”

The poor vampire looked desperate, like he was losing his mind from the hunger. But then again, it could also be because of the heavy smell of the sewers they had been calling home for the past decade.

“You know how hard it is to hunt humans now days, Baekhyun. With Tasers, and pepper sprays, everyone who walks at night is ready to fight back.”

Joonmyun shook his brother off, sinking his teeth into the animal before he was stopped again.

“Still… I’m stinking tired of rats…”

Baekhyun gave one last comment, but had no energy to keep talking. At that point he understood what Joonmyun was talking about, and knew that rats were their best option. He just couldn’t accept it.
