“Honey, are you sure you don’t wanna go out?”

Minseok smiled at his girlfriend as she asked the same question for the third time already.

They were both on the couch, all snuggled up on each other, watching some random re-runs on television. That was just not what the woman though a birthday date should be like.

“I’m sure sweetie.”

He answered, kissing the side of her face, and pulling her closer, into a tight cuddle.

“Really? But don’t you think we should celebrate? It’s your birthday after all.”

She responded, but made no attempt to move. She was clearly very comfortable like that, and so was Minseok.

“Just being with you like this is a celebration.”

He sweetly said, kissing her one more time before continuing.

“But if you really want to do something traditional, we can get some cake later.”

The proposition made her giggle, but now feeling assured that he was really okay with just staying in, she nodded in agreement, looking up at him.

“Happy birthday honey.”

She said pursing her lips, and he leaned over with a smile, gladly giving her the kiss her face asked for.
