A single tear rolled down Chanyeol’s cheek, the first of many to come. He stood half hidden behind a pillar, watching from afar as Jongin kissed one of their classmates. A girl.

“Will you give up now?”

Sehun asked, coming from behind the bot, giving him a bit of a scare.

“Do you finally see it? He’s not gay. He doesn’t like you.”

Chanyeol knew that his friend was just trying to help him see the reality properly, but it just felt like he was rubbing it in his face; and it hurt.

“I got it now.”

He said, holding back the tears, but doing a very bad job, since many started to fall down. He wanted to say more, but he was choking on his words, and he felt that if he dared to say any more, he’s start sobbing desperately, and that would be embarrassing.

“It’s okay to cry, don’t hold it back.”

Sehun comforted him, stepping forward so he could hold his friend, giving him a tight hug.

“I know that it hurts. Just cry as much as you need, I’m here for you. Let it all out.”

He continued. Chanyeol listened to him, the kind words really bringing out the tears.

He cried. He cried a lot, and for a long time, and Sehun just stayed there with him, comforting him. Chanyeol couldn’t have asked for a better friend at a time like that.
