“Hey.”

Kris called out, meaning to get Yixing’s attention. They were cuddling on the couch watching some meaningless TV show, but they had been talking through most of it, so it was obvious they weren’t properly watching. A quick moment of silence made Kris think of something, and he started getting excited about it.

“Yeah?”

Yixing answered in his calmest state, nuzzling onto Kris’ neck, smiling to himself at the happiness and comfort he felt.

“When was the last time we’ve been to an amusement park?”

Kris asked, doing his best to remember, but it was so long ago, he couldn’t pinpoint a date.

“Wow, it’s been ages.”

Yixing said, moving away a bit so he could look at his boyfriend’s face. He could see the plan starting to form inside Kris’ head, and he waited quietly until the man was ready to voice it out.

“Let’s go then.”

He just simply said, surprising Yixing a bit. He obviously expected something more grandiose and less confusing.

“Let’s… go?”

He answered hesitantly, not really 100% sure of what the other meant. Kris could clearly see the confusion on his lover’s face, and with the same enthusiasm, he let out another single word, which was enough to clear out that confused expression.

“Now.”

“Now?”

Yixing asked, not believing it at first, but smiling brightly once he could tell Kris was serious about it. Suddenly, he also felt excited with the idea, and immediately jumped to him feet, ready to change clothes and go.

“Let’s go!”

He laughed as he responded, and Kris also got up. The two hurried along to get ready to go out, making a little race out of who’d get ready first.
