The television was on, but the two men in the room were not paying any attention to it. Kris was incredibly focused on his cellphone, and Chanyeol was incredibly focused on Kris.

Chanyeol liked looking at him, and he couldn’t explain how happy he felt that Kris was his boyfriend. But often while he stared, his mind would wonder off, and he’d start doubting a lot of things.

“Do you love me?”

He asks, his deep voice being very subtle, hard to hear with the noise of the TV. But Kris heard him.

“Yeah.”

Kris answered, not taking his eyes away from his phone, very used to answering that question.

But Chanyeol wasn’t satisfied with just that this time, and after a little while, he asked again.

“But… Do you really love me?”

Kris put his phone to the side, turning so he could look at Chanyeol comfortably.

“I love you very much. I never loved anyone the way I love you.”

He answered, his tone overflowing with honesty and love. He leaned forward, cupping Chanyeol’s face with one hand, and planting a sweet kiss on his lips.

“I love you too.”

Chanyeol happily responded, moving over on the couch, so he could cuddle with his boyfriend.
