Jongdae felt very happy when Joonmyun offered to walk him home, because he loved spending time with the other.

But somehow, he didn’t seem to be able to pay attention to what the other was talking about. All Jongdae did was stare at the older man’s hand, he wished to hold it.

But not in a romantic way, though. He was straight and had a girlfriend, but even if he wasn’t, he still wouldn’t feel that way about Joonmyun. The other was just a really important friend. He was very dependable, and always made sure that Jongdae was happy and comfortable.

Jongdae knew he could always lean on him. Joonmyun would never abandon him, no mater how hard the situation got.

And so, Jongdae wanted to hold his hand. Because next to Joonmyun, he felt safe. And he wondered if holding the older man’s hand would be the same feeling as holding his mother’s hand, or if it would be a completely different thing. He wondered if Joonmyun’s hand were as warm as his heart. He wondered-

“Jongdae? Are you listening?”

The older asked, staring at Jongdae.

“Sorry hyung, I dozed off. What were you saying?”
