The room was completely dark, and yet, Kyungsoo had his eyes open, staring up to the ceiling, though he couldn’t quite see it properly.

It had been a while since he lay in bed to sleep, but he just couldn’t do it.

And it wasn’t that he didn’t feel tired – because he was, a lot – he just couldn’t fall asleep. His mind kept going through hundreds of thoughts, from things that happened in his day to things he had to do the next day, and even things that would never happen.

He couldn’t shut off his brain.

He thought about just getting up and going to watch some TV, or maybe playing some app games on his phone. But he had to wake up early in the morning. And his schedule would be packed, so he needed to rest.

With that in mind, he just stayed in bed. Even though he wasn’t sleeping yet, eventually he would. And even if that turned out to be a crappy night of sleep, it was still better than nothing.
