It had been over a month since Kyungsoo left through that door, but apparently what everyone told him was wrong. Time doesn’t heal everything. His heart still felt broken and lonely. He hadn’t left the house the entire time; he barely even made it to his room. He just stayed in the couch, looking to the doorway, hoping to see his love walk back in.

His body might not have been, since there were many people around him through this hard time showing their support, but his soul felt empty. He felt powerless, destroyed. He was nothing without Kyungsoo. And there was nothing anyone could do to fill that empty space.

If only he knew what an impact Kyungsoo would have on him. He would've been more careful, more delicate. He would have done everything to stop Kyungsoo from leaving.

But even so, would it have worked?

If he had been more loving, less shy. If he had hold onto Kyungsoo, stopped him from going away, would it have made the man stay? Would it have made a difference?

How can you make someone fall in love for a second time? How can you stop them from leaving?

Jongin wished he could know the ways of the earth, he wished he could understand why things like that happened. And most importantly, he wished he could fix it.
