Partner: Exo's Chanyeol

The lights buzzed and his vision became blurry.

Chanyeol closed his eyes and massaged the sides of his head, trying to lessen the pain.

When he opened his eyes, he could see the silver ocean all around the arena, cheering him on.

Chanyeol straightened up and forced a smile on his face as Jongdae skipped up to him while singing Peter Pan. Chanyeol nodded and put his hands in the air.

The song ended and Exo walked off the stage to change their clothes for the next song.

Minah rushed up to him with a towel and water. "Are you okay? You looked like you were in pain up there."

Chanyeol gave her a tired smile and took the water. "I'm fine. I just feel a little light headed, that's all."

Before Minah could say anything else, the other staff members came in between them to fix his makeup and help him change his clothes.

Minah frowned as Chanyeol winced while holding his head. Chanyeol took deep breaths and went up on stage again.

The fans' screams sounded louder than usual, piercing into his ears and making his headache worse.

"You okay?" Suho asked with a concerned face. Chanyeol smiled showing his teeth and held up a thumbs up.

Call Me Baby started playing and the fans roared. Chanyeol held the mic and rapped his part. He tried to concentrate on the lyrics and dance but the light seemed to be shining right into his eyes, blinding him.

Chanyeol's arms went limp as he staggered backwards. His breaths were heavy and rigid. Before he knew it, the song was over and they went backstage again.

"Chanyeol, are you sure you're okay? You need to rest. You almost fainted out there!"

Chanyeol's heart warmed up at the sight of Minah's concerned face as she dabbed his sweaty face.

"We're going back up in 5!"

Minah bunched up her eyebrows and frowned. "I think Chanyeol has to rest. He's about to faint."

One of the staffs took a look at Chanyeol before turning to Minah. "I'm sure he'll be fine. He's done this many times before, he can handle it."

"Yeah. He's Exo! He can't just not perform because of a little headache."

Minah glared at the staff as Chanyeol was dragged toward the staircase that led up to the stage. She tried to reason it out but no one would listen to her.

"Stop!"

Everyone fell silent except for the fans outside.

Minah turned to the staff. "Yes, Chanyeol's an idol, he's Exo. But that doesn't mean he's not human."

Minah took a deep breath. "And how would the fans feel when they see their favorite idol fainting on stage? It'll break their hearts. They'll understand. He hasn't been feeling well the past few days and he needs to rest right now. He's not going back up there."

The staff stayed silent as Minah grabbed Chanyeol's hand and dragged him out of the underground stage.

Chanyeol was half conscious as Minah brought him to her car.

He pulled back. "I don't have to rest. I can perform."

Minah frowned. He was so stubborn. Chanyeol staggered to the side as his eyes drooped down.

Minah sighed, "No you're not. I'm taking you to my house, it's closer than the dorm."

Minah slung Chanyeol's long arm over her shoulder and hauled him to the elevator and up to her apartment. She opened the door and carefully brought him inside.

Chanyeol immediately fell onto her bed when she let go of him. He finally looked peaceful in his sleep.

"You really love your fans, don't you?" Minah sighed and brushed his bangs out of his eyes.

When Chanyeol woke up, there was a dry towel on his head. His headache was gone and he could finally properly open his eyes again.

Chanyeol sat up and looked around. "Where am I?"

The door opened and Minah popped her head inside. "Oh! You're awake."

She walked in and touched his forehead. "Your fevers gone." She bent down and carefully looked at his face.

Chanyeol lowered his gaze as he blushed at the closeness. "And you look much better. You should go now. It's late and the others are probably worried about you."

Chanyeol bit his lip as he thought. "Can I stay?"

Minah raised a brow. "Excuse me?"

"I mean, it's late and it's dangerous for a celebrity like me to go out like this. Fans are crazy these days. If something happens to me, the blame is all on you!" Chanyeol hoped his excuse would work.

Minah took a minute to think about it before agreeing. She picked up her pillow. "Well then, good night." Minah turned to go.

"W-Wait!" She looked back at him with raised brows. Chanyeol his lips. "You can sleep here."

"And let you sleep on the couch? You're going to get sick again."

"Then you can sleep with me."

"What?"

Chanyeol covered his mouth with wide eyes. What's wrong with me? She's going to think I'm a ert. 

He cleared his throat. "What about you? If you get sick, who's going to wipe my sweat and bring me water?"

Minah rolled her eyes but walked to the other side of the bed. She laid down and faced the other way. "Good night, Chanyeol. You better not pull anything funny."

Chanyeol scoffed with a big smile on his face. "Please, I'm the one who should be worried." He groaned and hunched up when she hit him with a pillow.

He immediately recovered with a foollish grin on his face. His mind traced back to the concert and his smile widened. "No ones ever done that for me."

"Done what?" "Stood up for me like that, in front of a bunch of people. Thanks, Minah."

Minah blushed, "I was just doing my job." Chanyeol could sense her blushing and smirked. He pulled the blanket up and made sure she was warm before leaning up on his elbow to get a better look at her face.

Minah's breaths slowed as she fell into a deep sleep. Chanyeol softened and brushed her hair out of her face.

"I know you feel something for me too, Shin Minah. Just wait. Soon, you're going to admit it. And you'll finally be mine."
