Hayoon finished her third bottle of soju to the last droplet and ordered another one. She had just found out that her crush got a girlfriend. Her reaction may have seemed a little over the top but, to her, it was the only way to stop herself from locking herself in her room for a week. It didn't help that he kept it from her for over a year.

She first met Mingyu at a welcoming party for freshman in college and fell for his charming smile and sweet personality. Six years later, Hayoon was attending law school while he was in medical school. And six years later, she still had feelings for him. 

Whenever Hayoon was upset, Mingyu was always by her side. He was caring and came to save the day whenever she needed his help. Anyone in her position would have thought and hoped for him to like her back. But now, six years later, he had a girlfriend while she was still single and waiting.

Hayoon finished the fourth bottle and hiccupped. She probably looked miserable and clumsy but she didn't care. All she wanted was Mingyu but now she would never be able to have him. 

Hayoon stumbled onto the stairs facing the Han River and yelled out. "Kim Mingyu! You handsome motherf-" She lurched forward and barfed all over the step below her. She wiped and looked up at the starless sky. 

"If you didn't like me, you should never have taken me home all those times I was drunk. You should have never punched the guy who was harrassing me! You should never have let me cry on your shoulder or made me laugh or taken me to Lotte World!"

Tears streamed down her cheeks, mixing with her mascara. "You shouldn't have done anything to lead me on." Her words were not incoherent as she sobbed. 

"I was always just the friend." She mumbled as she took her phone out. Her vision was messed up from all the alcohol consumption and she was now lying on the ground. Out of habit, she went to her "Recently Called" list and called Mingyu.

"He-"

"Why don't you like me?"

The other end was silent. 

"You don't play with someone's heart like that."

Hayoon frowned when he didn't respond. "I waited. Six years! Ever since I met you, I waited for you to ask me out. And now you're taken."

On the other end of the phone, Wonwoo's heart was beating rapidly at her sudden confession. She liked me ever since we met at the party? The more he listened, the more he realized she was drunk.

"Hayoon, where are you-"

"Kim Mingyu!"

Every bit of happiness he was feeling vanished and was replaced with shock and disappointment. His grip on the phone tightened until his knuckles became white.

"You're so mean for leading me on. I hate you!"

Wonwoo put the phone down when she hung up. 

"Who was that? It sounded like someone was yelling."

Wonwoo turned to Mingyu who was almost done with his meal. "N-No one." He looked down at his half-full bowl before facing Mingyu again. "Didn't you say you were meeting Hanna after she ends work?"

Mingyu's eyes widened as he checked his watch. "Oh shoot," he mumbled with a mouth full of noodles. "I should go. Thanks for the meal, Wonwoo. See you at school tomorrow." 

Wonwoo tried his best to smile. Thankfully, Mingyu was too busy fiddling with his coat and phone to call his girlfriend to notice the weak smile that didn't reach his eyes.

"See you." Wonwoo finally said when Mingyu was already halfway out of the restaurant. He slumped back onto his chair to take a moment to think about Hayoon's call. 

She liked Mingyu, not me. Wonwoo grabbed his coat, paid, and left the restaurant to go get Hayoon. 

He knew exactly where to go, having gone numerous times to take Hayoon home. But everytime he went, Hayoon was too intoxicated and thought he was Mingyu. Every single time.

Mingyu was always too busy with Hanna, his part-time jobs, or his studies to pick her up and always asked Wonwoo to. This time, Hayoon called Wonwoo directly by mistake, breaking Wonwoo's heart.

Wonwoo stopped at the spot right next to the Jamsil Bridge where Hayoon would end up when she was too drunk to function correctly. He let out a big sigh, his breath decorating the cold air with smoke. Even though you keep hurting me, I always end up running back to you.

He carried her to his car, getting butterflies in his stomach from the close contact even though he had done this multiple times. Even though he knew that she would never come this close unless she was drunk.

"Mingyu..." Hayoon softly mumbled in her sleep, making Wonwoo's jaw clench.

And unless she thought he was Mingyu.

Wonwoo put her in the passenger seat and buckled her up. He made sure her head was upright and brushed her hair out of her face. He traced her facial features with his eyes and softly sighed. 

"Why do you do this to me, Nam Hayoon?"

Wonwoo safely dropped her off at home before driving to his, knowing that the next day and the days after that, Hayoon wouldn't remember anything.

Some of you guys recently requested a couple more scenarios when the title specifically says that I'm not taking any more. 

I will start to take more after I'm done with the ones in line right now. I just feel very burdened by the number of requests I already have to finish so I would really appreciate it if you guys refrain from requesting for a while.
