Daehyun ruffled his hair as he thought back to what happened earlier that week.

"Hyunae! Oh my god. You're okay. You're okay." Daehyun broke into a smile right when Hyunae opened her eyes.

He stood up from his seat next to her and pulled her into his embrace. He frowned when she didn't hug back, or say anything at all.

Daehyun leaned back and was shocked to see fear and panic across her face. "Jagiya. What's wrong?"

Hyunae stared at him, looking confused and lost. "Who are you?"

Daehyun's jaw dropped. "W-What? Hyunae, you're kidding, right?"

He wanted to believe that she was joking but her face expression said otherwise. 

Daehyun let out a big sigh and sat up from the bed with his phone in his hand.

He looked at the lock screen picture of Daehyun kissing Hyunae's cheek with a determined gaze.

"You may not remember me now, but I'll make sure you remember me soon. Or at least fall in love with me again."

Hyunae woke up with a slight headache.

"Did you take your medication?" Yongguk, her older brother, walked into her bedroom with a glass of water.

Hyunae shook her head and groaned. "My head hurts."

Yongguk sat by her bed and handed her the glass of water. "It's only been a few days since you recovered. The doctor said it'll take at least two weeks for the pain to stop."

Hyunae groaned but took her medication.

Yongguk took the cup from her and stood up. "You're hungry, right? We're out of milk. Go to the mart and buy some so we can eat cereal."

Hyunae deadpanned, "Why can't you go? I'm still recovering, you know."

"You have to start going out again and get used to the outside environment. Now get your out of bed and buy the milk so we can eat. And while you're at it, buy some fruits."

Hyunae rolled her eyes but listened to him and got ready to go to the mart.

Yongguk watched her go out the door and took his phone out. "She just left." 

Daehyun looked at the message and started walking to the mart. 

Daehyun smiled while thinking of the first time they met.

Hyunae was grocery shopping and couldn't reach the cereal at the top shelf. Daehyun, being the gentleman he is, reached from behind her and got it for her.

He was stunned by her beauty and she was blown away by his manners.

And just like that, they became friends and later, lovers.

The plan was to reenact the scene again. 

If this doesn't work, I'll have to try something else. 

Daehyun walked through the sliding doors and searched the aisles for his girlfriend.

He stopped at the dairy section and quietly walked up behind her.

He smirked at how cute Hyunae looked, on her tip toes trying to reach for the milk on the top shelf.

Daehyun swiftly went behind her and got the milk for her.

Hyunae gasped and spun around only to be shocked again by the stranger's handsome smile. Deja vu. 

Daehyun smiled and held the milk carton out in front of her. "You were reaching for this, right?"

Hyunae slowly nodded. Why does this feel so familiar? Wait. 

She scanned the stranger's face again. Oh my gosh. He's the weirdo from the hospital! Is he stalking me? 

Hyunae didn't take the milk from him and fled the dairy section without her cart.

Daehyun's eyes widened as she disappeared right before his eyes. "Damn it. It didn't work."

He grabbed the cart and followed her.

Hyunae looked back and her eyes widened when she saw him following right behind her. What the heck! 

She turned to the meat section and turned to go into the snack aisle. She let out a small scream when she collided into someone's chest.

Hyunae looked up and panicked again. She tried to run away but Daehyun grabbed her arm.

"Let go! Stop following me, you stalker!" Hyunae struggled to get out of his grasp.

"You left your cart."

Hyunae stopped and her face flushed with embarrassment. Without giving him another look, she grabbed her cart and ran away.

Daehyun chuckled as she ran to check her things out.

His smile quickly faded and his eyes lowered to the eyes. So it didn't work. What do I do now? 

Daehyun sighed and waited outside the mart.

Hyunae walked to her house with two plastic bags in each hand.

Daehyun silently followed her, instinctively stepping forward to help whenever she stumbled or struggled to carry the bags.

But he made sure she didn't see him until she arrived at her house.

Daehyun watched her go inside. I'm not giving up, Bang Hyunae. Just wait.

You'll fall in love with me again, just like the first time.
