Partner: Seventeen's Mingyu

"I only see you as a younger brother, Kim Mingyu." 

Mingyu groaned and ran his fingers through his brown hair. Only as a younger brother? Was that how she saw me this whole time? 

Mingyu groaned again but it came out more like a whine.

Wonwoo looked up from his phone with a raised brow. "Was that you? Stop, it sounds gross."

Mingyu glared at him and pouted. Wonwoo sighed and put his phone down. "Is this about Lillian noona?"

Mingyu frowned and nodded like a little kid. "She said she only sees me as a younger brother."

Wonwoo furrowed his eyebrows. "What? Really? That's not what she told me last week at Soonyoung's party."

Mingyu jumped onto the couch, almost landing on Wonwoo, when he heard those words. He looked at his hyung with eager eyes, "What'd she say?"

Wonwoo scooted away from the giant puppy and brushed his shoulder with a face of disgust. "Don't do that ever again."

Mingyu nodded eagerly and whined for him to continue. Wonwoo chuckled at Mingyu's helplessness. "She said that she's been feeling weird lately. Every time she sees you, her heart races and she feels all hot. She doesn't want to admit it but she likes you, Mingyu. So-"

"Thank you, hyung!" Mingyu pulled Wonwoo into a tight bearhug and gave him a big kiss on the cheek before letting him go and running out the door.

Wonwoo almost threw up as he watched Mingyu rush out the door. He wiped his cheek but smiled, "No problem."

"You said what?!" Joshua almost spit out his drink when Lillian told him the story. "Lillian, you're so stupid! Why would you lie like that?"

Lillian sighed and played with her straw. "He's two years younger than me, Josh."

Joshua made a face, "So?"

"So, I can't date him."

Joshua rolled his eyes. "You're dumb."

Lillian frowned, "Don't call me dumb! I have my reasons."

"And him being two years younger isn't one of them. It can't be! Lillian, no one is going to judge you for dating a freshmen. I'm a senior and I'm dating a sophomore! Did anyone make fun of me for it? No."

Lillian realized that Joshua was right. Who cares if Mingyu is two years younger than her? "Thanks, Josh. You're the best."

Joshua smirked, "Of course I am."

Lillian rolled her eyes. "I'll text you later." She collected her belongings and left the cafe that was right next to the boys' dormitory.

Mingyu ran out of the building and turned to run to the girls' dormitory.

"Mingyu-yah!"

He turned around at the gentle voice he loved hearing. "Noona!"

Lillian walked up to him with a smile. She furrowed her brows when she saw how out of breath he was. She looked down and giggled.

He was wearing flip flops on one foot and sneakers on the other.

She looked back up at him and took a step closer.

"Noona," Mingyu breathed out with a determined look on his face. "I know you rejected me already, but I'm not giving up. I really like you."

"I like you, too."

Mingyu widened his eyes when she blurted out her confession. He knew from what Wonwoo told him that she liked him too, but he didn't think that she'd say it so quickly.

"I'm sorry for rejecting you last night like that. I was afraid of what people might say when they find out that I'm dating a freshmen. But I realized that I don't care about what others think." She took another step closer.

"I really, really like you, Kim Mingyu. Will you be my boyfriend?"

Mingyu was smiling from ear to ear. He cupped her face and leaned down to kiss her soft lips as an answer.

Lillian smiled into the kiss and wrapped her arms around his neck, deepening the kiss.

Behind them, Wonwoo and Joshua watched the new couple kiss. "Finally."

They high-fived each other before walking into the dormitory to tell the others the news.
