Myungsoo fixed his hair in the car mirror. He grabbed the fruit basket from the passenger seat and opened the door.

He made his way up the apartment. Right when he got off the elevator on the seventh floor, his phone started ringing.

Myungsoo looked at the screen and smiled, "Hello?" 

"Hyung! Are you almost here?"

Myungsoo walked across the hall and looked at the numbers. "721, right?" He smiled and nodded, "Yeah, I'm here."

The door flung open, showing an excited Changkyun. "Hyung!" Changkyun hugged him and took the basket from him. "So glad you could make it. All of my other friends said no." Changkyun frowned.

Myungsoo playfully scoffed, "So I was your last resort? I'm offended." He put his hand to his chest and feigned pain. Changkyun laughed and quickly introduced him to his wife, Nam Hayoon from the rookie girl group JULIET.

They settled down on the floor. Hayoon checked a message on her phone and lit up. "She's here!"

Myungsoo set his coffee down with a raised brow. "Someone else is coming?" Hayoon went to get the door.

"Jung Soorim, from JULIET. Aren't you close with her?"

Myungsoo's face visibly lit up. Yes, he was close with her. Very close with her. They would secretly go on friendly dates every week after they got close at the Idol Star Athletic Championships. They were like a match made in heaven and clicked right away.

However, they didn't see each other in two weeks because of Infinite's world tour. 

He could recognize Soorim's voice from the front door. He stood up with Changkyun to go greet her.

Soorim's eyes widened when she saw him. "Oh! Myungsoo oppa. You were coming too?" Myungsoo smiled. "You should have told me! We could've gone shopping for presents together."

Hayoon laughed, "Well too late now. Come on, let's eat first."

The four sat at the dining table. All of them, except for Hayoon, marveled at the various plates that were set on the table. "You made all of this?" Hayoon humbly smiled. "I hope it tastes okay."

The four of them started eating and talking about the couple's married life. "So, the peppro game, huh?" Myungsoo teased the two who grew red from embarrassment. "Hyung! Do you really have to bring that up?"

Myungsoo smirked and reached for a kimchi when Soorim put another side dish in front of his face. "Try this one! It's delicious."

Unconsciusly, Myungsoo opened his mouth as Soorim fed him. Hayoon cooed at them, "We don't even do that yet!" Soorim and Myungsoo just shrugged before eating again.

After lunch, they sat around the coffe table on the floor and ate fruit. "I'll cut the apples. You already did so much for lunch." Soorim took the knife and apple from Hayoon who thankfully gave her a nod.

Soorim began to peel the apple, trying to peel it in one go. Myungsoo intently watched her. When she was halfway through, the knife slipped and almost cut her finger, causing her to yelp in surprise.

Before Hayoon or Changkyun could even react, Myungsoo grabbed a hold of her hand and carefully looked over it. "Yah! Be careful." Soorim blushed.

Myungsoo took the knife and apple from her and sighed. "I'll do it." He muttered under his breath, "You're not even good at peeling anyways."

"Time for a tour!" The couple led the two guests around the small but roomy apartment. "And this is the master bedroom."

"Ooh, do you guys sleep together on it?" Hayoon blushed as Changkyun rubbed the back of his neck, chuckling.

Myungsoo sat down on the bed and bounced on it. Soorim's eyes lit up, "I wanna try!" She hopped on next to him and started boucning on it with him.

Changkyun playfully scolded them, "You guys are going to break it!" The two stopped and sheepishly grinned at him, "Sorry."

Hayoon suddenly clapped her hands together. "I bought gifts for you guys! Hold on, let me go get it." Changkyun followed after her to help.

Soorim laid down and sighed. "This feels nice." Myungsoo laid down next to her and rubbed his face. His phone suddenly started to ring from the other side of the bed.

Without thinking, he leaned over to the nightstand to get his phone. He stopped when he realized how close he was to Soorim.

Their faces were only centimeters away from each other.

He could clearly see her hazel brown eyes and light freckles that covered her cheeks and cute nose.

Soorim stopped breathing as she stared up at his handsome face. She didn't know why but her heart was beating fast. Was she sick?

"Uh, what are you guys doing?" They quickly jumped away from each other, standing up from the bed.

Hayoon chuckled, "You two are way to close to be just friends. I feel like you guys should come out on WGM instead of us!" Changkyun gave a a playful glare, "You don't want to be with me?" Hayoon shook her head with a smile and led him outside into the living room.

Do we really act that close? Myungsoo cleared his throat and walked to the door. "We should....go look at the presents."

Soorim finally snapped out of her daze. "Y-Yeah. Let's go."

When the sun went down, Myungsoo and Soorim decided to leave the couple be and go home. "Bye guys! Thanks for coming."

There was tension in the elevator once the doors closed. Awkward tension.

Soorim looked at the numbers gradually going down on the elevator. It's now or never. 

Soorim cleared . Myungsoo his lips. "So-" "Are-"

They looked at each other and laughed. "You go first."

"Oppa, let's go watch a movie tomorrow."

Myungsoo nodded. It's not like they haven't gone together before.

"So it's a date."

Myungsoo stayed still, trying to process what she said. He slowly began to smile and turned to her. "A date." 

Just then, the elevator dinged and the doors opened. "See you tomorrow, oppa." Soorim quickly rushed out the doors.

Myungsoo thought about tomorrow and smiled. A date. A date sounds nice. He walked out of the elevator and headed to his car with a stupid grin on his face.
