Wonwoo parked his motorcycle and swiftly took his helmet off, flipping his hair in the process.

Girls surrounding the student parking lot swooned over his good looks and squealed as he passed by.

Wonwoo didn't spare a glance at them and promptly made his way to his group of friends.

"Hey, Wonwoo." S.coups patted him on the shoulder with a lopsided grin on his face.

Mingyu a lollipop out of his pocket and smiled, greeting him as well.

"You've got to stop riding that motorcycle of yours. It's dangerous." S.coups said with a concerned look on his face. 

Wonwoo shrugged nonchalantly and snatched the unwrapped lollipop from Mingyu's hands, earning a whine from the younger.

"Guys!" The three looked toward the direction of the voice and saw Vernon jogging up to them. "What's up?"

Vernon showed them a flyer. "The sadies hawkins dance is coming up."

S.coups took the flyer from his hands to get a closer look. "It's next Friday. Any girl you guys want to go with?"

Mingyu shrugged, "It's the girls' decision. I'll just pray that Soyeon finally asks me." He clasped his hands together and looked up at the sky.

Vernon nudged Wonwoo on his side. "What about you, hyung?"

A girl with shoulder length black hair with fair skin automatcially flashed into his mind but he shook his head. "Nope."

S.coups playfully narrowed his eyes at him with a grin on his face. "Aye, you have someone in mind, don't you? Don't even try to deny it! You're blushing!"

Wonwoo's hands flew up to his cheek and he cursed because his cheeks were indeed burning hot.

He cleared his throat and put the lollipop back in Mingyu's hand. "I'm going to class."

Vernon smirked and yelled across the hallway, "Since when did you ever go to class?"

Mingyu complained at the lollipop in his hand in disgust, earning a smack from S.coups. "Just throw it away."

Wonwoo walked to the secluded area on the bleachers where he usually slept. He set his backpack down to use it as a pillow.

He lied down, crossed his arms, and closed his eyes to get some peaceful sleep.

His eyebrows creased when he heard footsteps coming up the bleachers.

Wonwoo opened his eyes and sat up to tell the person to screw off but lost his words when he saw her.

"H-Hi, Wonwoo sunbae." Chloe couldn't even look into his eyes as she held something behind her small frame.

Chloe glanced up at him and immediately retrieved her eyes to the ground, intimidated by his piercing gaze.

"I was wondering if you wanted to...."

Wonwoo's heart started beating against his chest just by looking at her. Wanted to? 

Chloe stepped closer and gave him a box of chocolates and a single rose.

Wonwoo looked down at the gifts without a word.

Chloe finally looked up at him. "I really like you, sunbae. Do you want to go to the sadies with me?"

Wonwoo could hear the tremble in her voice as she mustered up her courage to ask him.

Most people would say that Wonwoo's blank stare looks y.

To Chloe, his blank stare at the moment just looked cold.

Chloe's eyes flitted to the ground as he stayed quiet. "N-Nevermind. I'm sorry for bothering you."

She her heel and sulked down the bleacher stairs.

Wonwoo took a small step forward, wanting to stop her. Wait, don't go... 

Chloe walked back into the school building and sighed while shoving the gifts into her locker.

"I knew he would say no. I just made a fool out of myself." She buried her face into her palms and made her way to class.

Wonwoo sulked into the school building when the bell rang, signaling the start of lunch.

Mingyu threw his arm over his shoulder. "Let's go to the arcade today after school! And then we can go get pizza."

Wonwoo shrugged him off. "I'm tired."

Mingyu gaped at him, "You're tired? But you just slept for the past four hours while I was in class, learning and solving stupid math problems. I should be the one who's tired."

"I didn't get any sleep because of-" Wonwoo stopped himself short before continuing. "I'm going home."

Wonwoo walked out of the campus and hopped onto his motorcycle.

He raced along the highways, passing by cars and letting the wind hit his chest. 

I'm such a coward. She finally confessed to me. That's what I've been wanting for forever. I can't just let her go like that. 

Wonwoo sped up and raced around the whole town before ending up in front of school gates.

The students were piling out of the building.

Wonwoo took his helmet off, fixed his leather jacket and black hair, and strode into the building.

Mingyu saw Wonwoo and ran over. "Yo! I thought you said you were going home- Where are you going? Hyung!"

Wonwoo ignored Mingyu and went deeper into the building to Chloe's locker. Fortunately, she was still there.

He saw how dull her eyes were and his heart hurt. I did that to her. 

Wonwoo swiftly made his way through the crowd of students and reached her locker.

A sudden shadow loomed over Chloe, making her look back. She gasped, "Wonwoo sunbae."

Her eyes danced with fear that he was here to actually reject her in public. "What are you doing here?"

"Yes." "What?" Wonwoo searched her eyes before repeating his answer. "Yes. I will go to the dance with you."

Chloe's heart raced against her chest as her face lit up with joy.

"I like you too, Chloe. A lot." Wonwoo rubbed his clammy hands together.

"I also wanted to say that I'm sorry for not responding earlier. I was too shy to." Wonwoo barely whispered the last part but it was loud enough for Chloe to catch.

Chloe broke out into a smile, warming Wonwoo's heart. "Well, I forgive you."

Wonwoo looked behind her into her locker. "Isn't there something you want to give me?"

Chloe raised a brow before realizing what he was talking about. "Oh! Here." She reached behind her and handed him the chocolate and rose.

"The chocolates might have melted a little though."

Wonwoo opened the box and smiled before grabbing her hand. "Let's go." Chloe furrowed her brows. "Where?"

Wonwoo looked back and smiled, "I can't eat all of this alone." He squeezed her hand and walked past the parking lot.

"What about your motorcycle?"

"Why would I make my girlfriend ride it when she's scared of it?"

Chloe softened by the fact that he knew those little things about her. Her heart jumped at the word girlfriend and she smiled.

"And you should keep this. It suits you better." Wonwoo put the rose in her free hand and looked at her.

"There. Beauty with beauty." Chloe beamed at him and hugged his arm.
