Mira startled awake with sweat running down her heaving chest. She jumped when she felt arms snake around her thin waist.

"Mira, what's wrong?"

Mira relaxed when she realized that it was her boyfriend. Hyuk mumbled incoherent words before drifting back to sleep, snuggling against her hair. Mira hugged his waist and leaned on his chest as she stared at his peaceful facial expression.

Don't worry, Hyuk. Those nightmares don't mean anything. She's never coming back. She's not. She....can't. I'm going to make sure you're safe in my arms just like this forever.

Mira woke up the next morning to an empty bed. She panicked and grabbed at the nightstand for her glasses only to find a note from Hyuk.

I'm going to meet Hongbin hyung to discuss our project final. I'll be back before dinner!

Mira grabbed her phone and quickly texted him. "Don't be too late! I'm making seaweed soup today."

"Okay!" 

She put her phone on her lap and sighed while biting her lower lip in worry.

Mira met Hyuk in college right after she put her evil twin sister, Miso, in the Dungeon. After her sister framed her for the murder of her parents who were the greatest witches in Zelos, Mira spent time in the Dungeon and it was the lonliest time of the nineteen years she lived. 

With the help of her friends outside, Mira proved innocent and found all the evidence to prove that Miso was the real murderer.

Mira wasn't worried about her escaping the Dungeon but lately, her sister visited her in her dreams, turning them into nightmares. She could still hear Miso's husky cackling, saying that she was coming back for her.

Mira bit her fingernails as she waited at the dinner table with the food all set. He should be here any minute. Where is he? Mira gasped under her breathe. What if....no. Mira, don't think that. That's impossi- 

Her attention shifted towrd her phone when it started ringing. "Hongbin! Where's-"

"Hyuk! H-He was- W-We were- and then this girl- out of nowhere!"

Mira sprang up from her seat, making the chair fall back. "What? Hongbin, I don't understand-"

"Miso took your brother!"

She dropped her phone with wide eyes. 

Miso? How? She's supposed to be in the Dungeon!

Mira grabbed her black trench coat and wand before teleporting to Hyuk's university. 

"Mira!" Hongbin waved her over. 

"What happened?"

"We were walking toward my car when all of a sudden a black figure came and knocked him out. I was about to call 911 but Miso came and broke my phone and...." He stared at his destroyed phone with a pout.

Mira rolled her eyes. "Now is not the time to be worrying about your phone! You can always get a new one!"

"But all of my pictures-" Hongbin whined but shut up when he saw Mira's glare. "Right, Hyuk. She took him that way."

Mira followed Hongbin's finger that pointed to the school gymnasium. She took a deep breathe before taking her wand out. "I'll be back."

Mira landed at the center of the basketball court. She looked around and gasped when she saw Hyuk tied to a chair with chains near the hoop.

"Hyuk!" She ran toward him but stopped when she heard a familiar, eerily welcoming voice. 

"I wouldn't do that if I were you."

Mira narrowed her eyes at her sister who was on the other side of the court. "Miso."

Miso smirked, "Glad to see me?" She began walking toward her, slowly, while waving her wand around. "I'm so happy to see you again! You don't know how lonely it was in there- Oh, wait. You spent two years in there too."

Miso stood right in front of her and grazed her hand on Mira's cheek. "My poor baby sister. You must have been so scared-"

"Don't touch me with your ing filthy hands. I'm not your sister."

Miso feigned shock. "Look at how much you've grown up, cursing and all. What has this boy thought you?"

Mira's glare went away when she mentioned Hyuk. She looked back at him but Miso grabbed her face and forced her to face her. Mira's death glare quickly came back.

"Do you know how miserable I was in there? All cold and lonely for four years. Four years, and you never even came to visit me!"

Miso's rage overcame her, sending a evil force toward Mira's stomach. Mira groaned as her back hit the wall. 

Miso grabbed her by the neck and flung her across the gym. Mira coughed as she struggled to get up. She saw Miso walking toward Hyuk and quickly regained her strength. "Don't lay a finger on him!"

Mira flew across the gym and kicked Miso in the face. Miso winced and grabbed her wand but Mira was fast to knock her out with a whoosh of her wand. 

"Mira..."

Mira gasped and ran over to him. "Hyuk, everything's okay now. How are you feeling? Did she hurt you anywhere?" Mira tapped her wand on the chains, setting him free. Hyuk slumped forward. Mira caught him and hugged him. 

"I feel dizzy. And hungry."

Mira chuckled and helped him up. My Hyuk is back and safe in my arms.

"Miso you evil wench!" Hongbin came running through the doors with a large metal chair in the air. 

Mira stifled her laughter as Hyuk leaned against her shoulder.

Hongbin stopped yelling and looked around and blinked before turning to Mira and Hyuk. "You saved him! Yay!"

"Hongbin....what were you going to do with that chair? We're witches....she would've knocked you out or killed you right when you walked through the door."

Hongbin dropped the chair. "Oh." His eyes widened. "Oh. Well that's not fun."

Mira shook her head. "Just come and help me with Hyuk."
