Partner: Seventeen's Woozi

"Come on!" Bora pulled Yumi while Euntaek pushed her from behind. Bora opened the door to the control room and led her friend inside.

"No! I don't want to!"

Euntaek sighed and closed the door, "Noona, stop being shy and confess!"

Bora pulled her with so much force that Yumi literally landed on the desk. "Yah! That hurt!"

Bora crossed her arms. "Well you'll thank us later." Euntaek stood behind Bora and crossed his arms too while cutely nodding.

Yumi sighed and rubbed her face. "Guys, I don't want him to know like this. I like Woozi but I don't want the whole school to know! That's so embarrassing, and he'd probably hate it."

Bora and Euntaek bit their lips. "Uh, Yumi?" Bora pointed to the light behind Yumi. Yumi whipped her head and looked at the red light behind her. It was on, glowing red. Yumi gasped and looked down at where she landed on the desk. She was sitting on the button that turned the mic on. She jumped off the desk like it was on fire. "Oh my gosh!"

Yumi glared at her two friends. "You're so going to pay for this!" She dashed out the door to go hide for the rest of the day.

As she ran down the hallway, students snickered and whispered while staring at her. Yumi cursed under her breath and ran faster. Her eyes lit up when she saw the girls' bathroom right after the boys' bathroom. Yumi sighed in relief but gasped when she bumped into someone who was walking out of the boys' bathroom. She looked up at the boy and almost screamed.

"W-Woozi."

Woozi stared at her with an expression she couldn't quite read. Ugh, he probably hates me. Yumi hung her head low. Woozi cleared his throat. "Meet me at the courtyard after school." Yumi looked up and saw his retrievng figure. "Yup. He hates me." Yumi groaned and walked into the girls' restroom to hide for the day.

The bell rang, signaling the end of the school day. Yumi mentally prepared herself for the humiliation Woozi would give her as she made her way to the courtyard in the middle of the school. She saw a familiar pink haired boy standing at the center, waiting for her. She took small steps and tried to ignore the other students' criticisms.

When he heard small footsteps behind him, Woozi turned around. "You came." 

Of course I did. You told me to. Yumi expected him to degrade her and criticize her for being stupid enough to confess to him when he obviously didn't like her back. She noticed how there was a small crowd forming around them. People seriously need to learn to mind their own business. 

"What were you thinking, Lee Yumi?"

Yumi frowned, Here it comes. 

To her surprise, Woozi smiled. He smiled at her, showing his adorable eye smile, one that was rare to see. "If you're going to confess, you should've done it in person. Face to face, like how I'm doing it right now." "I'm sorry- Wait what?" Woozi chuckled at her reaction. "You dummy. If you like me, aren't you supposed to at least know that I like talking face to face?" Yumi just stood there, dumbfounded, trying to comprehend what he was trying to say. "So why don't you do it again?" "Huh?" Woozi took a step forward so that he was right in front of her.

"Why don't you confess to me again?" He whispered. What is he saying? "Come on, Yumi. I want to hear it face to face." So that you can ridicule me? "I won't make fun of you." Yumi looked at him wide-eyed. Could he read minds? He smiled and gave her a look, telling her to confess again. Yumi sighed and cleared . "I-I like you, Woozi." Woozi's smile grew bigger at her words. "Good. Because I like you too."

Yumi gasped along with everyone around them. No one expected that one coming. Woozi leaned forward and grabbed her hand. "Come on, girlfriend. Let;s go get ice cream." He started to pull her but she pulled back, stopping him. He turned around, "What's wrong?" Yumi blushed, realizing that he was holding her hand. "W-Why am I your girlfriend?" "You like me, I like you. Isn't that all we need?" Yumi opened to protest but stopped herself. Wait. This is a good thing, isn't it? 

Woozi laughed and pulled her to the ice cream parlor down the street. Yumi admired his face as he ordered and paid for her. Her gaze fell down to her hand that was still safely in his. He gently squeezed her hand, causing her to look up. He held out the ice cream cone and she gladly took it. Yumi her ice cream and squeezed him back. Bora and Euntaek were right. I need to thank them for letting a miracle happen.
