"Cheers to being single!"

Yura rose her shot of vodka and cheered with her friends.

They all laughed before drinking it in one shot. 

"Too bad Mina isn't here. It's never a good thing to marry early," Kim shook her head.

"At least she has someone to sleep next to and hold at night." Julie replied.

Kim smirked, "Who says I don't have one?"

All the girls "oh"-ed with wide eyes.

"You're crazy!"

"And y," Kim winked and blew a kiss at Julie, making everyone laugh.

"Alright, alright. Enough of boy talk. Let's get down to real business." 

Seol took something out of her bag and put it on the table with a 'clank'.

Yura's jaw dropped. "Seol, that's-"

"Chacha, you know it."

"That's like 50% alcohol, Seol. We're going to be stoned tomorrow."

"It's fine! The wedding isn't until Sunday, and today is Wednesday! Isn't this why we held the bachelorette party today?"

The girls looked at each other and shrugged. "I guess."

Seol smiled and held the bottle up in the air. "Let the party officially begin!" 

Xiao ran into the hospital and demanded the room number for Yura like a madman.

He had just landed in Korea after Up10tion's concert in Shanghai only to find out that his fiance was in the hospital.

Please don't be serious. Please let her be okay.

Xiao slid the door open and rushed inside. His shoulders relaxed when he saw her sitting up while looking at her phone.

She looked up and gasped, "Oh? Xiao-"

Xiao took big strides and pulled her into a tight embrace.

"Do you know how worried I was? Don't ever do that again. What was Seol thinking when giving you brandy? I always knew she was trouble."

Yura blinked as her arms stayed by her sides. "Um, thanks for worrying about me?"

He pulled away and scanned her body. "You're not hurt anywhere else, are you?"

"No, I just injured my head a little."

She was confused. Why is Xiao here before-

"Hwanhee. Where's he?"

Xiao looked at her with wide eyes. "Hwanhee? Why are you asking for him? He's on his way here with the other members, why-"

His face paled. "A-Are you sure the doctor said you're okay?"

Yura nodded. "Yeah, he-"

"Yura!" 

Eight boys rushed into the ward with flowers and baskets of fruit.

Yura's eyes widened. "I didn't expect you all to come. I mean, I only injured my head a little bit."

Bitto frowned and gave her flowers. "The bride-to-be shouldn't be in the hospital right before her wedding. Gosh, I should've stopped Seol from taking that from our dad's collection."

Yura furrowed her brows. "Bride-to-be? I'm getting married?"

Everyone in the room fell silent as Xiao's face turned whiter by the second.

"Yeah. You're getting married two days from now," Jinhoo carefully said.

"But I'm only twenty-one. That's so early. What the heck. Why don't I know about my own wedding?"

She narrowed her eyes at the boys, "You guys are pulling a prank on me, huh?"

The boys stared at her, speechless, before turning their gaze to Xiao. 

"Sorry, I'm late! I stopped by to get her favorite drink from the vending machine-" Hwanhee's smile disappeared when he felt the tension in the air as all the members stared at him with open mouths.

"Hwanhee!" 

Hwanhee's breath was knocked out of him when Yura ran off the bed and gave him a bearhug. 

"I missed you. Why did you come now?"

Hwanhee stared at her with the same expression as everyone else in the room. Complete, utter shock.

His eyes flitted to Xiao who sat with his back toward them.

He chuckled, "W-What are you doing, Yura? I'm not the one you should be waiting for."

Yura pouted, "Why wouldn't I wait for my boyfriend?"

Before Hwanhee could answer, Xiao walked past them and out the door.

"How could she lose her memory? And four years of her life?! That's crazy." Gyujin shook his head and glanced at Xiao to see if he was agreeing with him.

He sighed when he saw that Xiao was staring off into space, not listening to him.

"There's a new stylist who's joining us today!" Kuhn jumped up and down in excitement.

"Why are you so excited? She's just another staff," Xiao said while playing a game on his phone.

"Yeah, but she was Vixx's make-up artist before. Have you seen them? Their faces are practically glowing. I can't wait for mine to glow." Kuhn giggled as he cupped his face.

Xiao sighed and shook his head. Whatever, she'll be like anyone else-

"Hello. My name is Ahn Yura and I will be your make-up artist starting from today."

Xiao paused his game and looked up. His mouth hung open at her aura. She was glowing with her pink lips and bright eyes.

He gulped when they made eye contact. 

"I hope we can all get along."

"They're dating!" 

Xiao looked up when Wooshin came running into the dorm.

"I just saw them kissing outside!"

Xiao knew exactly who he was talking about. Ever since Yura joined their crew, she developed a liking for Hwanhee and he liked her as well. After four months of flirting, they finally got together.

Xiao pretended not to care and went back to his game but couldn't concentrate and ended up losing. He threw his phone on the couch and sighed. 

"They broke up!" Wooshin ran into the dorm with wide eyes. "I just saw her leave crying. I wonder what happened."

Xiao immediately got up and ran out the door to go look for her. It has been less than a year since Hwanhee and Yura started dating and they were already over.

He found her sulking in the park and slowly sat on the swings next to her.

She gasped and quickly wiped her tears away. Xiao softened and comforted her until the sun went down, and vowed to make her smile again.

Xiao was always on the side, watching the two cuddle and whisper in each other's ears and giggle. After they broke up, he was by her side, making sure she was okay. 

Then one day, she kissed him and it sparked the beginning of a new relationship. After three years of dating, Xiao decided to propose to her. Yura was no longer their stylist and he wanted to be by her side 24/7.

He thought he was the happiest and luckiest man alive when she said yes. 

Now, he was back to square one. He would have to play the shadow, always there just watching.

Gyujin put a hand on his shoulder. "She'll get her memory back soon, Xiao. Don't worry too much about it."

Xiao gave him a small, reassuring smile and clenched his fist to stop his tears from showing.
