 “Look, I don’t even know if it’s true. I just heard it from Sehun bu-” Jongin stopped midsentence. “What the-” His eyes followed Kyungsoo as Kyungsoo quickly got up from the table and walked away.

“Hey! Where are you going?” His words fell on deaf ears as Kyungsoo continued on out of the cafeteria without a word. Jongin sighed with a pout on face. “I was talking. Such a rude boy.”

Footsteps could be heard echoing through the halls. I am not letting Byun Baekhyun get near my girl when I'm not around. Who knows what he'll do? He's always bothering her in math class anyways. I can't let him get any closer to her.

Kyungsoo opened the double doors to the theater. He quickly made his way to the drama teacher who was standing on the stage. Mr. Im turned around, surprised. “Oh my, Kyungsoo, what are you doing here?”

“I would like to join the musical.” He looked up at the teacher with big, round eyes. Mr. Im furrowed his brows and looked down at the young student. “You? Do Kyungsoo?” He laughed out loud in a sarcastic manner.

“Young man, theater is no joke.” He rubbed his beard and slightly squinted at Kyungsoo. “Aren’t you the boy who wouldn’t even go to see the musical because it’d waste your precious study time?”

Kyungsoo flared his nostrils and clenched his fists. “Sir, you should never judge a book by its cover. I would like to join the musical.” Kyungsoo stated again, his eyes full of annoyance.

Mr. Im folded his arms and stepped back, doubting Kyungsoo’s talent. “Fine. Then sing a number for me.” Kyungsoo, confident, immediately sang the song Alex loved from Phantom of the Opera.

Mr. Im was at a loss of words when Kyungsoo finished. “That...That was amazing, Kyungsoo!” He began to applaud him loudly before concluding that Kyungsoo will be a part of the musical.

Kyungsoo walked out of the auditorium with a proud grin on his face. “Kyungsoo!” He turned around and saw his loving girlfriend running toward him. “Where were you? You weren’t there at the lunch table so I was worried.”

Kyungsoo smiled and cupped her face. “It’s okay. Nothing’s wrong.”

Kyungsoo chuckled, making her stop talking. “It’s alright, Alex. I don’t mind.” He assured her. She raised a brow, doubting his words. “You don’t?” Kyungsoo nodded. “So don’t worry and let’s go to class. We don’t want to be late.”
