Sehun dropped his things and ran over to the hospital with his phone in his hand.

He stopped in front of the big hospital when he saw Aemi sitting on the steps. He walked over and sat down next to her.

Aemi wasn't crying. She was just blankly staring out in front of her.

Sehun put her arm around her shoulder and rested her head on his shoulder. He caressed her hair. "Are you okay?"

"I think so. I barely knew her, but seeing my parents cry like that. Expecially my dad..."

Aemi sighed and sat up straight. "Just thinking about losing a family member breaks my heart."

Sehun softened. And seeing you like this breaks my heart. "Hey, look up."

Aemi did as told. The air was chilly but the night sky was full of bright and beautiful stars.

"Wow, the sky has such bad timing. It's as if it's mocking us for taking my grandma away."

Sehun frowned, "I was hoping it would comfort you."

Aemi turned to Sehun. "You already comforted me." Sehun rasied his brows in confusion.

Aemi smiled, "Thanks for coming. Weren't you busy studying for finals?"

"It doesn't matter. You're more important to me." Sehun made Aemi lean on his shoulder again as he ran his fingers through her hair. 

"Don't ever leave me, Sehun."

Sehun froze and his fingers stopped playing with her hair. 

"I don't want to lose someone special to me. Expecially my best friend." 

Sehun's heart sunk. Of course I'm just her best friend. That's all I'll ever be.

He sat up straight and looked into her eyes. "Don't worry. I'm not going to leave you even if you ask me to."

Aemi smiled widely and pinched his cheeks, stretching them out. "What would I do without you?"

Sehun chuckled, "Die." His smile slipped from his face as soon as he said that. 

Aemi's hands dropped to her sides as she frowned. 

"Bad timing?" Sehun apologetically smiled.

Aemi disregarded his comment and sighed. "The sky is really pretty today, though."

"Like you." "What?" Sehun's eyes widened, "N-Nothing." 

He cleared his throat and looked up at the sky to avoid her eyes.

Aemi secretly stifled her laugh. I know you like me, Oh Sehun. When are you going to stop being a baby and confess?

Aemi sighed and laid her head on his shoulder again.

She could wait. Just as long as he doesn't leave her, she could wait.
