24 year old Min Yoora stuffed the last ddukbokki in . "Thank you, auntie." She paid and waved while walking away. "See you tomorrow, Yoora!" The lady at the stand called out before going back to mixing the stew.

Yoora looked up at the sky and frowned. "No stars today, huh." The gloomy clouds covered the night sky and signed that it was going to rain today. Checking her watch, Yoora decided to take a detour through the small streets to get to her house. She smiled at the drawings on the walls that the little kids in the neighborhood drew. She reminisced back to the time when she was younger.

"Yoora! Come here!" Yoora got up from the ground and went to her best friend. "What, Youngjae?" The little boy pointed at his masterpiece on the wall. "Look! It's us!" Yoora looked ans saw a boy and a girl holding hands while wearing weddint attire. "Wah! It's so good." Youngjae proudly beamed at her before pulling her to sit down next to him.

"Yoora. Promise me that we'll get married once we turn 25." He stuck out his pinky, waiting for her to promise him. Yoora immediately obliged and locked her pinky with his. "I promise!" The two of them laughed and continued to draw on the walls till the sun went down.

Yoora smiled. "I wonder where you are, Youngjae. I hate to admit it but I took that promise seriously. I'm still waiting for you, Youngjae." She talked to nobody and continued to walk up the street.

Suddenly, she felt someone behind her. Yoora slightly turned her head and saw a man in the shadows who was clearly following her. She thought fast and started to walk faster. The man behind her walked faster as well to catch up with her. This is it. I'm going to die tonight. Yoora tried turned the corner and bumped into someone. She looked up and saw a handsome young man with brown hair.

"Are you okay?" He held his hand out and she gladly took it. He was about to let go but she held his hand tighter before pulling him away from the man following behind them. The young man looked at her curiously. "Um, is something wrong?"

Yoora suddenly smacked his shoulder and laughed out loud like a crazy person. "You're so funny!" The brown-haired man winced in pain. She went closer to him and quickly whispered in his ear, "Act like we're friends."

Without questioning her motive, he followed along and hit her shoulder as well, laughing. Yoora winced but didn't complain. She looked back and saw that the man wasn't anywhere around them. Sighing, she let go of his hand and fixed herself. "Thank you. This man was following me and... well."

She cleared and gripped onto her bag. "Well, bye!" Yoora turend to walk to her house when the young man stopped her.

"Wait!" She turned around with raised brows and pointed to herself. "Me?" He nodded. She warily walked toward him. "Yes?"

"Do you know how to get to the Lotte Hotel? I was sure I was going the right way but I guess I got lost in the middle." He rubbed the back of his neck and smiled in embarrassment. She looked to his side and noticed that he had a suitcase with him. "I just moved back from London so I don't really know my way around."

Yoora giggled at his cute nature. "I'm sorry to tell you this but Lotte Hotel is all the way on the other side of the city." The man's eyes widened. "What? I was sure I was going the right w-" He took his phone out to check the map when a raindrop landed on the screen. He looked up at the sky and saw millions of raindrops falling from the sky.

"!" Yoora checked her bag for an umbrella but was unlucky. She sighed and turned to go when she realized that the young man was still there. Oh, Min Yoora. You're such a nice person. She turned around with her hand over her head, trying to block the raindrops from hitting her face.

"Hey, you don't have anywhere to go, right? Do you want to come to my house?" The young man looked at her warily. She sighed. "I'm not a bad person." He raised his brow, still doubting her.

Yoora groaned before taking his hand in hers. "Oh, come on."

They reached her house in five minutes. Thank goodness she wore sneakers to work this morning. Yoora opened the door to her small apartment and took her shoes off. "You can wait in the living room. I'll go get some towels."

The young man took his time to take his shoes off and looked around the house. There were many decorations on the walls. He couldn't help but laugh when he saw a picture of Yoora and her friend posing weirdly in their school uniforms.

"Here." He turned around to get the towel but stopped when he saw her face. Seeing her in better light, he couldn't help but notice how bright her eyes were and how plump her lips looked. She's gorgeous. Yoora frowned. "Hello? Earth to- Gosh I don't even know your name." The young man chuckled as he came back to reality.

Thanking her, the took the towel and started to dry his hair. "Oh right. I'm William. Thanks for taking me in." Yoora smiled and shook his hand. "No problem. I'm Yoora."

Yoora? No, it can't be. Youngjae quickly shook that thought away before smiling back at her.

They talked into the night with hot chocolate and squid. "So many people say that this combo is bad, but I disagree." Yoora nodded. "I love eating hot chocolate and squid together."

She couldn't help but notice how similar the young man in front of her was compared to the Youngjae she knew eighteen years ago.

Youngjae cleared his throat. "You know." Yoora hummed in response. "You remind me of a girl I used to know back when I was still in Korea." Youngjae put his cup down before continuing.

"Actually, I came back here to look for her." He chuckled to himself. "We made a promise that we'd marry each other when we're 25." Youngjae looked at Yoora's shocked face and quickly added on, "It was stupid, really. And the fact that I'm still holding onto that promise is very, um, childish."

He shook his head before picking up a squid and putting it in his mouth. "I don't even know why I'm telling you this." He bit onto the squid and quickly drank his cup of hot chocolate.

"Youngjae?" He paused and looked at Yoora, shock written all over his face.

"How do you-" Then it dawned on him.

The name, the hot chocolate, the squid. It all made sense now. "Min Yoora."

Yoora smiled and hugged him. "I can't believe it's really you, Youngjae. Do you know how long I've waited for you to come back?" Youngjae laughed while hugging her back and whispered, "You waited."

Yoora pulled back and nodded. "Of course I did, you silly. Do you know how many guys I rejected for you?" She smiled, causing Youngjae to laugh. He pulled her in for another hug. "Well, I'm back. And I'm never letting you go ever again."

Yoora looked up at Youngjae. "So, are we getting married now?" Youngjae laughed out loud before tightening his hold on her.
