Park Nareum internally groaned when her manager dropped her off at the set of the variety show she was filming today. She was so excited to finally appear on Running Man after JULIET's debut earlier that year. But seeing the location of the shooting, Nareum wished she was back at her dorm safe under her bed sheets.

"Nareum-shi! Over here!" The staff member escorted her over to the center where the main cast of Running Man was. She gasped when she saw the rest of the guests standing next to them. Bangtan Boys are on the show today? Why didn't anyone tell me? I should've dressed better. 

Nareum greeted everyone with a smile and blushed when V looked at her. He's so good looking. V nodded his head at her, causing her to blush even more. Nareum quickly bowed and turned toward the MCs. V smirked, How cute. 

The filming soon started and they were put into teams. Nareum almost squealed with joy when she was put into the same team as V and Rapmon. The games started. After the third round, Nareum was sweating. She wiped her forehead with her sleeves. Someone put out a towel in front of her. She looked up and gasped when she saw V smiling at her. She thanked him and took the towel and dabbed her sweat. You have to stop blushing everytime you make eye contact with him! 

The sun started to go down and the final round was about to start. "The final round is the haunted village! The mission is to find all the hidden flags and the team that finds the most wins!"

Everyone cheered except Nareum. She looked at the dark, gloomy village and shivered.

"For this round, we'll be splitting into pairs." Nareum's eyes widened. Pairs? That's one less person to hide behind! She prayed that she'd be with Kim Jongguk so that she could just hide the whole time behind his big build.

"Kim Jongguk and Jimin!" Nareum groaned.

"Nareum and V!" Nareum's head shot up and she made eye contact with V. He smiled at her, making butterflies fly around in her stomach. She didn't know if she should be happy or not. She was paired with her favorite celebrity but she didn't want to show him her weak side. V walked up to her, "Are you ready?" Nareum nervously smiled at him.

He took her hand, making her jump. He stared into her eyes and squeezed her hand. "You'll be fine. Just follow my lead." Nareum was stuck in a daze until the staff blew the horn, signaling the start of the final round. "Come on." V led her into the haunted village.

Nareum unconsciously pulled back, causing V to turn around. He noticed her pale complexion and frowned. "Do you just want to wait here? I can go look by myself."

Nareum quickly shook her head. "No, I'll go with you." I can't let you do it all by yourself. 

V squeezed her hand once more before heading inside. Nareum unconsciously held his hand with both of her hands and leaned close to him. V glanced back and smiled.

They walked around until they found a dark house. "Let's check in there." Nareum gulped and reluctantly followed.

V took the lead and cautiously opened the door. A fake doll fell from the top of the doorway, causing both of them to scream and jump back. Nareum hid behind his back and shivered.

V turned around and made her look at him. "It's okay. It's just a doll. Just remember, this is all fake. The ghosts, the dolls, the sounds. It's all made up by the staff." Nareum felt safe as he gazed at her with warm eyes.

Seeing this side of him was just making her fall for him more. Not just as a celebrity, but as a person. As a man.

V kept her hand in his the whole time and made sure that she was okay. He would pull her into her chest when a ghost popped up, reassuring her that it was just another staff dressed up.

At the end, they only found one flag. Kwangsoo's team ended up winning with a total of seven flags. The filming ended and everyone was saying their goodbyes.

Nareum tapped V's shoulder. "I'm sorry about today. You lost because of me."

V frowned. "I didn't lose because of you. Don't worry, it's all about luck." Nareum appreciated how he always tried to make her feel okay.

"Taehyung-ah! Let's go!"

"Okay, hyung!"

V smiled, showing his teeth. "I guess I'll see you on Saturday."

Nareum furrowed her brows. Is he asking me on a date? 

V chuckled, "Inkigayo?" Nareum wanted to smack herself. She awkardly laughed. "Right! Inkigayo. Of course, why else would we see each other?" V stifled his laugh before waving and walking to his van.

After the van took off, Nareum groaned and flailed her limbs around. "You're so stupid, Park Nareum! You made a fool out of yourself."

In Bangtan's van, Jimin poked V's side. "So, how was it today?"

V tried to hide his smile and shrugged his friend off. "Stop. It was just a normal day." Jimin raised his brow in a teasing manner. "Uh huh. You got to spend the whole day with your crush and it was "just a normal day"." V smacked Jimin's arm. "Shut up, Jimin. Go to sleep."

Jimin laughed and shook his head at his friend. V looked out the window and smiled. Today was in fact a great day. And he couldn't wait to see her again.
