Partner: Seventeen's Woozi

I hope you like it!

Sooin giggled and walked into the Pledis Enetertainment building to surprise her boyfriend.

"Hey, Sooin."

Sooin turned around. "Hi Wonwoo! Do you know where-"

"Studio."

"Ah," she pursed her lips. "Of course he is. Thanks!"

Sooin skipped down the hall and heard music flowing out from the door with the number 1 on it. She softly knocked on the door and the music stopped playing. "Come in."

Sooin opened the door and jumped out with a big smile. "Tadah!"

"Sooin..." Woozi stared at her in awe and shock. "What are you doing here?"

"I knew you'd be working hard for your guys' upcoming album so I dropped by to be your muse." She joked, making him laugh. "And I also wanted to give you this!" Sooin handed him a cup of Americano and an album that he'd never seen before.

"What is this?"

"It's our next album! The songs being released at midnight tonight." Sooin proudly beamed.

Woozi smiled and rubbed circles on her palm. "Thanks, I'll listen to it well."

"Listen to it right now!" He raised a brow, "Right now?" Sooin nodded with big eyes and he couldn't say no. He popped the disc into his laptop and the first song came on. "This is our title song!"

After the song ended, Sooin searched his face. "How was it? Be honest."

"Completely honest?"

"100%."

Woozi bit his lip and avoided her eyes. "Well, I wouldn't say it's the best comeback song ever. The one before this was way better, in my opinion. The beat isn't that catchy and the arrangement isn't that great either. The chorus is great but the bridge sort of...I don't know, ruins it? It's so different from the rest of the song that I can't tell if it's still the same song or not. Plus, the transition is kind of..." 

That's my favorite part... 

Woozi saw her dejected face and quickly acted. "I'm sorry. You said to be completely honest...Was that your part? It didn't sound like you."

Sooin blinked her tears away and stood up. "I-I think I should go practice now." Without another word, or a goodbye kiss like usual, Sooin grabbed her bag and left the room.

Woozi frowned. "Was I too harsh?"

Woozi stretched his arms and back and moaned. "I've been sitting for way too long." He cracked his neck and went outside to the main room where Jun and Dino were sitting, surfing the internet.  

"Woah! That's so cool!"

Woozi grabbed a bottle of water and turned to them. "What is?"

"Did you not hear from her yet?"

Woozi quirked a brow, "Who?"

"Your girlfriend! She produced her group's newest comeback song!"

Woozi spat the water out and dropped the bottle.

"Ah, hyung! You're wasting water!" Dino quickly picked up the bottle and screwed the lid back on.

Woozi snatched the tablet out of Jun's hand and scrolled through the article. "."

Woozi called Sooin multiple times but she didn't pick up. He decided to call her one last time before giving up. "Please answer. Please answer. Pleas- Hello? Sooin?" 

"Hi, oppa..." 

"Where are you right now?" 

"My company building." 

"Come out, I'm outside right now."

There was a pause before she said "okay" and hung up.

Woozi paced around in front of the entrance and scolded himself. "She always said that she wanted to produce and learn from me. I should've known! She was so eager to show me! I'm so stupid."

Just then, the doors slid open and Sooin walked out.

Woozi immediately walked over and hugged her. "I'm sorry."

Sooin teared up. "It's okay...you didn't know."

"No it's not. It's your first time producing and I let you down. I'm the worst boyfriend ever." He pulled away and cupped her face. "I'm sorry. I thought Hyunwoo produced it again. You know how I don't like him. That's the only reason why I said all those things, because I was angry that he produced your song again when I'm right here."

Sooin chuckled, "You mean jealous?"

"If that's what you want to call it, then yes. I was jealous. I didn't mean all those things, trust me. Your song is amazing. I honestly wanted to say that it might win you guys first place."

Sooin's face brightened, "Really?"

Woozi smiled and gave her a reassuring nod. "Really. So don't feel so down. Forget everything I said."

Sooin nodded and hugged him again. "Hey, it's almost midnight. Do you want to watch the music video together?"

Woozi raised a brow at her, "Are there any boys in the video?"

Sooin laughed, "No."

"Then yes, let's watch together." He grabbed her hand and led her inside as she laughed out loud.
