Seonhee answered her phone as her stylists worked on her hair. “Hello?”

“Oh my goodness. I went to the mall and guess who I ran into! Well he didn't see me but guess who I saw!”

“Uh, Jungkook?”

“Bingo!” Seonhee laughed at her friend’s enthusiasm. “He was at Tiffany and Co. Expect a new addition to your collection, girl. I just wanted to tell you. I have to get back to work now.”

“Thanks, Hyuna. Don't work yourself too much.”

“Well, my patients aren't going to heal themselves. Bye!”

“Bye,” Seonhee chuckled before hanging up. She sighed as the stylists started to work on her make up.

“Jungkook got you something?” The stylist working on her eyes asked.

Seonhee smiled, “Yes.”

The other working on her cheeks cooed, “I wish I was young like you guys again. So sweet.”

Seonhee scoffed, “You're only 26, unnie.”

“Already past my prime time.”

The one working on her eyes rolled her eyes. “Shut up, Gayoon. I'm 28.”

Seonhee laughed at her stylists as they continued to bicker. She tuned them out as she thought about the gift Jungkook got her. I wonder what it is. A necklace? A bracelet?

Seonhee smiled at the rookie groups who bowed at her as she walked the halls of the MBC building. She stopped at the vending machine and put two quarters in and pressed the button for grape soda.

As she bent down to grab the soda, she heard a name that caught her attention and stopped her from standing up.

“He really got that for you?”

“Aw, Jungkook’s so sweet.”

Jungkook?

“How much do you think the necklace cost?”

Necklace? Seonhee slowly got up as the girls’ voices faded. She looked back and saw that it was the top rookie girl group, I.O.I.

Seonhee frowned, I probably heard wrong. Jungkook would never.

Seonhee huffed and walked to her group’s dressing room to get ready for her next schedule.

“You're going on Radio Star today?” Seonhee nodded.

Gayoon, her stylist, gasped. “You're meeting Kyuhyun? Can you get me an autograph?”

Jiyoon, her other stylist, smacked her arm. “Go ask him yourself.” She turned to Seonhee. “Don't mind her and go do your thing. They'll probably ask you about Jungkook so be ready.” She winked and Seonhee smiled and nodded before walking toward the recording studio.

She gasped and quickly hid behind a wall when she saw a couple kissing.

Company couple? She was about to walk the other way to not bother them when she heard a familiar name again.

“Jungkook, what if someone sees?”

J-Jungkook? Seonhee didn't want to but she did anyway. She peered past the wall and her heart fell. Jungkook was standing in front of a girl who was leaning on the wall.

They were standing too close for comfort. Seonhee couldn't see the girl’s face until she turned her head so that her hair wasn't covering.

Seonhee inaudibly gasped.

It was Chaeyeon from I.O.I. And she had a sparkling butterfly necklace around her neck.

Jungkook touched it and smiled. “Do you like it?”

Chaeyeon beamed. “I love it.”

Seonhee looked away when Jungkook leaned in for a kiss. She blocked and ran away to prevent herself from getting noticed.

“I think you already know what we're going to talk about now.” Kyuhyun teased. “Your relationship with Jungkook!”

Seonhee snapped out of her daze when the MC said the cheater’s name.

The other MCs laughed at her reaction. “Wow, I'm guessing you weren't prepared.”

Seonhee laughed, “Sorry, I was blanking out.”

Yoon Jongshin chuckled. “So, how is Jungkook?”

Seonhee paled. “He's good.”

“That's it? Ah, we have to probe you some more to get some inside scoops.” Kim Gura crossed his arms. “When did you guys start going out again? 2015?”

“2014.” Seonhee corrected.

The MCs gasped. “Dang, two years. That's a long time.”

“Well, we never know when it'll end. It could be soon.” Seonhee said without thinking and shut up with wide eyes right after. “I mean, we never know what'll happen. Who can predict the future?”

The MC moved on smoothly without any more questions until the very end.

“Thank you for having me today.”

“No, thank you! Our viewer ratings probably doubled because you came on. Why don’t you say something to Jungkook to end the show?”

Seonhee her dry lips and turned to the camera. “Hey, Jungkook.”

The MCs cooed at that simple beginning. Seonhee would have laughed but so many things were going on in her mind. Does she say it loud out here? Would that cause too much of a scandal? I don’t want to ruin him on tv.

“Thank you for the necklace you gave me a few days ago.”

“He gave you a necklace?”

Seonhee smiled, “Yes. A silver butterfly one. I’m not wearing it right now but I will after I go to the jungle in Indonesia.”

Jungkook stared at the television screen in shock. I never gave her a butterfly necklace. But I did to…

He turned to Chaeyeon who was sleeping on his shoulder. His phone chimed and he picked it up.

He opened the message and his jaw dropped. “Let’s meet up.” “.”
