Yoomi still couldn't forget about Luhan. She knew it was wrong but she realized that her feelings for Luhan were not the same anymore. She doesn't know when it happened but they were always by each other's sides ever since they were in elementary. She never realized it but she would always be happy whenever he was around and would feel uneasy whenever he went on a date with another girl. He never actually had a girlfriend but he would go on dates from time to time and Yoomi didn't like that.

Everything worsened when he confessed to her the week before her first anniversary with her boyfriend, Jongin. 

"Yoomi?" Jongin called her multiple times until she came back to reality. "Yoomi." She looked up from her meal. "Huh?"

"Did you hear what I just said?" Yoomi bit her lips and shook her head. "Sorry, Jongin." He frowned and went over to her side of the table. "Are you okay? You've been acting weird lately. Your minds always somewhere else." He touched her forehead and frowned again, "You have a little fever. Let's just go home for now."

Yoomi's eyes widened when he took her jacket and led her out of the restaurant. "But it's our anniversary." Jongin turned around with a small smile on his face. "Aigoo, don't worry princess. We can always celebrate another time. Right now, your health comes first." 

That night, she laid in her bed thinking about Luhan's confession from the week before. 

"Yoomi, I know this may be sudden but I like you. And I know you don't feel the same way but I just wanted to tell you before I lose my chance to. I'm going back to Beijing in a week to continue my studies there."

He gave her a reassuring smile before adding on, "I'm not expecting you to miraculously like me back but maybe. Just maybe." He looked down at his hands before handing her a peice of paper. "I'll be waiting at our favorite place so if you feel the same way..." 

Yoomi looked at the time and date that was written on the piece of paper in her hand. It's tomorrow. She sighed and shifted so that she was staring at the ceiling. Who was she really in love with? 

The next morning, Jongin came over with porridge and made sure that her fever had gone away before he went back to his part-time job. And Yoomi had been trying to forget about Luhan but everything Jongin did for her reminded her of Luhan. Every time she looked at him, she would imagine him as Luhan. Every single little thing reminded her of Luhan.

"I'm going now. Stay warm and don't do anything too tiring, okay?" Yoomi just smiled and waved at his retrieving figure. After the door closed, she started to tear up. 

I'm sorry Jongin. But I have to do what my heart is telling me to do. 

Wiping her tears away, she checked the time and cursed out loud. There was only half an hour left before her chance to stop Luhan from leaving. She quickly dressed and ran to the bus stop. When she was on her way, the bus halted to a stop. She looked out the window and cursed again. The streets were unusually crowded and there had been an accident that slowed everything down even more. Well that's just great.

Yoomi quickly asked the bus driver to open the doors. She had never run that fast before. She checked her watch. . She was late. 

She finally arrived at the garden 15 minutes late. Yoomi looked around everywhere but couldn't see him anywhere. Did he really leave? I couldn't even say goodbye, I couldn't even tell him how I felt. She was on the verge of tears when she suddenly felt a pair of strong arms wrap around her from behind.

"You came."

Yoomi quickly turned around and her tears fell when she saw the one she had been looking for. He wiped her tears away and smiled. "You're beautiful even when you're crying." Yoomi knew her face was red from blushing too hard but she didnt care. She was just glad that he was here, in front of her, smiling. 

She suddenly started to hit his chest with her fists with a pout on her face. "You're so bad, so mean." Luhan laughed and grabbed onto her wrists to pull her toward him. "I know, and I'm sorry. But you came." He pulled her into a tight embrace. "And I won't ever leave you again." Luhan pulled away and kissed her forehead before hugging her again.
