Risa checked her watch again and sighed for the thousandth time that day. Her boyfriend of two years was already two hours late.

Risa checked her phone, hoping to see a message or missed call but her notification box was empty.

Risa frowned. "He better have a good reason for being late."

Risa decided to watch some tv while she waited for Byunghun to come. Just as Superman Is Back started playing, the door unlocked. Risa turned the tv off and headed toward the door.

"Finally. Do you know how long I've been waiti-"

Risa gasped, "Byunghun!"

She ran up to him and held his face. It was bruised and bloody.

Risa furrowed her brows and searched his face. "What happened?"

Byunghun just smiled and pulled her in for a hug. "You smell nice."

He rested his chin on her shoulder. Risa sighed and pulled away. "Let's get you treated."

She took out her first aid kit and started to dab his wounds with alcohol.

"Ow, babe. That hurts." Byunghun cutely frowned.

Risa playfully scowled and pressed harder on his wound. "Ow. OW!"

Byunghun looked at his girlfriend in disbelief. "Are you trying to kill me?"

Risa frowned at him. "Did I tell you not to get into another fight or did I not?"

Byunghun pouted and avoided her glare. "You did." He winced and looked at her, shocked, when she hit him on the back.

"What was that for?!" Risa stuck her tongue out. "That's for not listening to me."

Before he could complain, she leaned forward and pecked him on his lips. Byunghun froze at her sudden kiss.

"And that's for you to feel better." Risa went back to treating his wounds as he stared at her. She noticed his piercing gaze and quirked an eyebrow at him.

"What? Is there something on my face?"

Byunghun smiled like a fool and kissed her fully on the mouth. "I must have saved the world in my pastlife to have someone like you by my side."

Risa's ears turned red but she tried to keep a straight face. "That's why you have to cherish me."

"Always."

Byunghun kissed her ear before getting up from the couch.

"Where are you going? I'm not done."

Byunghun helped her up and squeezed her hand. "We still have a date to go on."

Risa frowned, worried about his condition. "Are you sure you're okay? We can just order take out and watch reruns of Friends."

Byunghun chuckled. "Thanks for worrying about me but you deserve to go out tonight. You got all dressed up too."

He looked at her outfit and smiled. "Come on, let's go." Risa giggled and let him lead her out of the house.

They went to the new restaurant that opened across the street before going to an ice cream shop for desert.

They held hands while walking in the park, holding their ice cream cones with the other.

Byunghun noticed that she had strawberry ice cream on her lips and smirked. "You just love getting kisses from me, don't you?"

Risa furrowed her brows. "Huh?"

Byunghun leaned in and kissed her, her lips at the same time.

Risa's eyes widened as the face grew red. Even after kissing him for two years, Risa still got butterflies in her stomach every time he pulled a trick like this.

Byunghun laughed at her expression as she hit his arm.

"Mm, strawberry tastes good. I should get it next time."
