Hana jolted awake when the school bus came to a halt. She rubbed her eyes and fixed her glasses.

Suddenly, a crumpled paper ball hit her square on the forehead.

She looked up and frowned when she saw Wonho and Kihyun snickering to themselves as they rolled up some more.

Hana looked around her and saw a bunch of paper balls on her seat and on the floor around her.

They've been throwing it for the whole bus ride and proabably took pictures. 

Ugh. I hate my life. Hana turned her head next to the laughing boys and her blood boiled at the sight of him.

I.M. was still sleeping with his hood on sitting next to Shownu. 

I'm surprised he didn't do anything today....yet. 

The students trailed out of the bus and cheered as they breathed in the fresh, forest air.

The senior class had come to a nearby camping site for their senior trip.

The air was hot and humid but that didn't stop the students from wanting to have fun.

The students grabbed their bags and waited for the administrator to call the pairs for the buddy system.

Hana hugged her pillow and siltently prayed to herself. Please. Anyone but Monsta X. Expecially- 

"Changkyun and Hana." Hana's eyes flew open as her jaw dropped.

She turned to see I.M. staring at her with that nasty smirk of his.

Hana groaned, "Just my luck."

The students went to their cabins and unpacked before they went to the cafeteria to eat lunch.

Hana sat down alone, as usual, and began to eat her rice.

She almost choked on her rice when someone jumped into the seat next to her and put his arm around her shoulders.

"Hey, buddy."

Hana cursed to herself. She could recognize this voice anywhere.

She wiped and shrugged him off before eating again.

I.M. pouted and provoked her again. "Why are you ignoring me? You're supposed to be my buddy. Buddies don't ignore each other."

"They don't bully each other either."

Shock striked his face at her comeback.

He smirked, She grew up well. 

He put an arm around her again and pulled her closer to him so that her ear was right next to his mouth.

"I can tell that we're going to have a lot of fun for the next four days." 

I.M. spoke in a low voice, smirked, and got up from his seat.

He picked up his tray and walked away, of course hitting her shoulder and knocking her drink over in the process.

Hana huffed and cleaned the juice on the table. "Jerk."

"Time for the last game of the day!"

The students cheered.

Most were soaking wet from the water ballon toss, more like fight, and some were sweating from the heat.

Hana was one of them. She had just finished the three legged race and lost because I.M. kept on purposely tripping her.

What did she do to have to go through this?

"Alright. The last game is the scavenger hunt! Whoever finds the most flags is the winner!"

The teacher blew his whistle and the students scattered out into the woods.

Hana started toward too but stopped when I.M. didn't move. "Aren't you coming?"

I.M. shrugged and crossed his arms. Hana rolled her eyes, "We're already last anyways. Because someone didn't participate in any of the activities."

I.M. scoffed. "What do you mean? I think I was pretty good."

"At making me look like a fool. You deserve an A+ for that. Whatever. I'm going whether you come or not." Hana turned and stalked away.

I.M. raised a brow, amused by her boldness. "I guess I can trip her in the mud this time."

I.M. followed her with his arms crossed and an amused smirk on his lips.

I.M. didn't want to admit it but he liked playing with her and staying by her side. He enjoyed her snarky comments.

He just liked that fact that he was different from the other girls.

Instead of flirting and batting her eyelashes to get his attention, Hana avoided him and showed her hatred for him.

It was all so new to I.M. that he figured the only way to be with her was to bully her.

She was the nerd, so it was perfect for a bully like him.

The sun started to go down and Hana still didn't find a flag. She huffed in frustration.

"Every other team found one except us." I.M. shrugged again, "At least we tried."

He did a double take when he saw a flash of white behind a tree. "Hey, I think there's a flag over there."

He walked over and frowned as he picked up the plastic bag. "Nevermind."

He dropped the bag and looked up at the sky. "It's getting dark. We should go back."

Hana firmly shook her head. "Not until we find a flag."

I.M. rolled his eyes at her stubbornness. "Whatever. I'm leaving."

He started to walk away and turned back to see her going deeper into the forest. He sighed, She's going to get lost. 

I.M. took a step toward her direction. "Wait. Why do I care?" He turned around and walked away.

The sun was down and the stars were starting the shine in the night sky.

Hana tried to go back a long time ago but couldn't. She was lost.

"Oh gosh. I'm going to die out here."

Hana froze when she heard a rustle nearby. "W-Who's there?"

She warily backed away until she heard another rustle from behind her. "W-Whoever you are, it's not funny."

She saw a flash of white fly by behind the trees and panicked. 

Is it...is it a ghost? Hana turned pale as her heart raced in fear.

She was a firm believer of ghosts and did not like them one bit.

Hana staggered backwards when she thought she saw another flash of white.

She tripped over a tree root on the ground and screamed as she fell back.

A hand suddenly held hers and stopped her from falling back. "You're such a scaredy cat, you know that?"

Hana looked down at their intertwined fingers and was glad that it was dark, or else he would have seen her blush.

"Ghosts aren't real. Now let's go back before they come looking for us."

I.M. tugged her behind him and led the way back.

Hana kept her eyes on their hands and felt her heartbeat speed up again.

Although he bullied her all the time, Hana felt safe with him at the moment.

A rustle in the bushes made them stop in their tracks.

"W-What was that?" Hana unconsciously squeezed his hand and moved closer to him.

I.M. looked around with wide eyes. "I don't know."

Hana could hear the fear in his voice and rolled her eyes. "I thought you said ghosts aren't real."

"They're not. But bears are." "WHAT?"

They looked past the bushed and saw a pair of eyes staring back at them.

They gulped and I.M. tightened his grip on her. "Run."

He pulled her and they ran out of the forest, not looking back to see that the "bear" was actually a deer.

They made it to the center of the camping site and stopped to catch their breaths.

"Look at what you did. What if the bear comes after us and ruins the trip?"

I.M. sent a glare at her but blushed when he realized that he was still holding her hand.

He abruptly pulled away and backed away from her. I.M. avoided her eyes and stuttered, "I-I'm going to tell them we're back."

Hana blinked at him and nodded. I.M. awkwardly walked away.

He jogged to the cabins and held his chest that was ringing against his ears.

He was pretty sure his heart wasn't beating hard because of the running.

It was because of something else, or someone else. 

Do I...like her? I.M's face looked mortified at the fact that he even came to that conclusion.

"Ugh. Get your head together, Im Changkyun."
