"Help!" 

Taehyung closed his eyes and tried to get the voice out of his head. It's not my problem. It's not my problem-

"HELP!"

He growled and got up from his seat. Irene would arrive in any minute, and this would be the third date he would have to cancel. He sent a quick "sorry" text before storming out of the diner. 

Irene stopped in her tracks when she read the text. A frown fell on her face as her shoulders slumped. She lifted the mini cake she bought at the bakery around the corner and sighed. "Rain check to another anniversary."

Irene stopped by her friend's place to give her the cake before going home.

Taehyung ran inside past midnight. The lights were off, but Taehyung could still see clearly, thanks to his advanced vision.

He looked around. Irene wasn't in the living room. She must be in the bedroom.

He tiptoed into the room and spotted her under her blanket, all warm and peaceful. Taehyung quietly walked over and sat down. He was about to touch her face but stopped. He didn't want to touch her with dried blood on his hands. He kissed her forehead, got up, and walked back to his place.

"Taehyung, really? Another rain check? This is the fifth time."

Taehyung apologized over the phone a million times before hanging up. 

Irene sulked and got up from the cafe. 

As she walked the street sof Itaewon, her mind wandered to a conversation they had two months ago, four months into their relationship. 

"I'm an alien."

Irene burst out laughing, earning some looks from the customers in the shop.

"You're kidding! Taehyung, I know my friends say that you have a personality that's out of this world but that's too far of a stretch." She spoke while wiping a tear.

Taehyung didn't say anything.

Irene searched his face for any sign of humor but his face was all serious.

"Tae. You've got to be kidding. Aliens don't exist."

"But it's true! I didn't want to tell you because I was scared that you might run away."

"Stop, Taeh-"

"My name is V. If you want me to prove it to you, meet me at this address tomorrow night. I'll show you."

Irene never went because her parents suddenly decided to visit. She looked at the address he messaged her and called a cab. 

"The address isn't on the map, miss."

"It's okay. I'll just get dropped off here, thank you."

Irene walked off the street and stepped onto the dirt. Tall trees covered the whole area, making it look like it was hiding something dark and evil behind it all. 

She bit her lip and started toward what seemed like the destination. The more she walked, the more she wished she hadn't. It was getting dark and the wind didn't help at all. 

Irene squinted and continued to walk when she heard something snap from above her. "What- Ah!" 

She screamed when a branch from a twenty foot tall tree dived toward her. She opened her eyes when she heard a grunt.

"Taehyung!" 

Taehyung threw the thick branch onto the ground beside them with ease and faced her. "What are you doing here?"

Irene couldn't find the right words to say. "You just- How- What-"

"Come on. Let's go inside."

Taehyung held her hand and led her to a clearing where a tall silver warehouse the size of a small mansion. He slid the metal doors open and Irene's jaw dropped. From outside, it looked like it waould be old, rusty, and empty but it was the complete opposite from that. The whole place was full of furniture and was surprisingly warm.

"Is this where you live?"

Taehyung nodded and sat down on the couch. "Welcome to my crib, finally."

"How did you afford this? We just graduated from college. What about our debts?"

Taehyung raised an eyebrow and Irene chuckled in disbelief. "No, we are not starting up that conversation again."

"But it's true!" Taehyung got up from his seat and walked up to her. "You have to believe me."

Irene scoffed and shook her head. "I can't believe you're lying to me again." She started for the door when all the lights turned off. 

"T-Taehyung?" Her voice trembled as she turned around. Darkness was her biggest fear. 

She gasped when Taehyung stood five feet away from her, glowing. Glowing. Glowing like a fresh light stick, like a candle in a cave. 

"H-How...." Her jaw dropped when he started floating. She took a step back when he glided toward her.

"Do you believe me now?" He asked in a whisper. 

Irene was too shocked to speak. Are his eyes...blue? 

She yelped and grabbed onto his shoulders when he lifted her off of the ground. "Taehyung!" She finally found her voice again. 

Irene looked down and shut her eyes, burying her face into his neck. Her second biggest fear was of heights. 

"It's okay, Irene. I got you." Taehyung whispered in a low voice, trying to soothe her.

Irene slowly opened her eyes and met eyes with him. 

"You weren't kidding."

They slowly twirled in the air as the furniture started levitating and circling around them. 

"Would I ever lie to you?"

The only sound around them was the wind that roared outside, but they were safe in here. She was safe in his arms. She didn't think of the dark or the fact that they were flying thirty feet above the ground. She was captivated by his sparkling blue eyes that were staring into hers. 

"Tae..."

"I'm sorry for cancelling our dates. People were in trouble."

"It's okay."

Taehyung smiled and leaned in to kiss her.

So is he related to Superman or something?

Taehyung stopped and opened his eyes. 

All at once, the furniture dropped to the ground, landing where they were before, and the lights . In a split second, their feet were on the ground again. 

Irene looked at him with wide eyes. "What? Did I do something wrong? Is someone else crying for help?"

Taehyung let her go and chuckled. "No, I'm not related to Superman."

Irene gasped. "How did you hear me- Oh my god. You can read people's minds too?!" She looked away, suddenly getting the feeling that she was stripped away of her privacy.

"Don't worry, I don't listen all the time."

"Stop! Get out of my head!" 

Taehyung laughed as Irene walked to the other side of the warehouse, in hopes to get him out.

"Distance isn't going to do anything."

"Did you read it before we starte dating too?"

"How do you think I decided to ask you out?" He teased with a smirk on his face.

Irene groaned and stormed over to where he was standing. "It's not nice to invade people's-"

Her words cut off when Taehyung pulled her in for a kiss. A quiet moan escaped her lips as he deepened the kiss. When he pulled away, they were softly panting. 

"At least we're happy now, hm?"

Irene looked at him and laughed. This whole situation was still a shock to her but she was glad that he was still the same Taehyung she fell for.

"Can you run super fast too?"

Taehyung rolled his eyes and smiled. "I could go a mile before you finish saying my name-"

"Taehyung."

Taehyung frowned. "I wasn't ready," he whined.

"Sure, you were."

"I wasn't! I am now though. Say it."

"No. Let's just cuddle."

Taehyung whined like a kid. "I want to show you! Say it!"
