Joy huffed and set the boxes down at her new "office". She looked around the dusty storage room and frowned. "How did I end up here?"

Joy was the best secretary for Bloomings Company and was about to be promoted to Executive Secretary. Her salary would have increased and she would have finally been able to buy her parents a new house and pay for her sister's college tuition. She would have had all she wanted but that all changed when the CEO changed. 

"Hello, my name is Do Kyungsoo. I graduated from Stanford University and just came back from studying some more in London."

All the female staff members squealed at the handsome and mannered CEO. All but Joy, who was hiding under her desk. "Do Kyungsoo? The Kyungsoo from high school? What is he doing here? How did he even get up here? He was so stupid back then!" Joy whispered to herself and cursed under her breath. She looked up when the office was a little too quiet for comfort.

Joy fell back onto her when she met eyes with Kyungsoo. "Is there something wrong, Miss Joy?" Miss Joy? Joy scoffed, stood up, and dusted her skirt. "Nothings wrong." Except for the fact that you're here. 

Kyungsoo sweetly smiled, "I hope we get along well." 

Joy screamed and messed up her hair in frustration. "Stanford University? Huh! As if! How could someone who always slept in class become the CEO of the best cosmetics company?!" Joy slumped down onto her chair at her new desk and groaned.

Ever since Kyungsoo, or Mr. Do, came, Joy's life was like living hell. He ordered her around to do useless errands all day and even made her clean his shoes. And now she was stuck in her new position as a sales marketer in Team E, the team that gets nothing done right. "How am I going to make money now? I'd rather be fired!"

Just then, her phone rang. Seeing the caller ID, Joy straightened up. "Yes, Mr. Hong. Right now? I'll be there right away." Joy grabbed the files on her desk and ran out of the storage room.

She knocked on the door and walked inside. "Here are the important fil-" Joy stopped walking when she saw Kyungsoo sitting on the desk. "What are you doing here?"

Kyungsoo furrowed his brows. "Is that the proper way to talk to your boss?"

Joy scoffed and slammed the files onto the desk. "Tell Mr. Hong that the files he wanted are on his desk." She turned to go.

"Miss Joy?" Joy shut her eyes, took a deep breath, and turned around. "Yes, Mr. Do? Is there something you want me to do?" She gritted her teeth.

Kyungsoo stood up and walked toward her. Joy eyes him in suspicion and staggered back. He kept on walking forward and she kept on stepping back until the back of her knees hit the couch, making her sit down. Kyungsoo leaned down and forward. Joy leaned back. "M-Mr. Do." Kyungsoo's face was now an inch away from hers.

Joy's face flushed and she looked away when he leaned closer. She shut her eyes and Kyungsoo smirked before reaching behind her and grabbing a thick binder. He stood up and laughed. "What are you thinking, Miss Joy?" Joy opened her eyes and blushed in embarrassment."What do you want?"

Kyungsoo shoved the thick binder into her arms. "Sort all of this out by the time I'm down with lunch."

Joy gawked at her. "You want me to finish this in forty minutes?"

Kyungsoo shrugged, "More or less. It might be thity minutes. I'm a fast eater." He smirked and walked toward the door with his jacket.

Joy stood up and turned around. "Yah!"

He stopped walking and turned around. "Did you just call me 'yah'?"

"Yeah, I did! What are you going to do about it, Mr. Do?" Joy crossed her arms.

"You know I could fire you at any moment, right?"

"Of course you can. Because you're all "big boss" now, you think you can push me around like this?" She walked up to him and glared at him. "Is this because of how I treated you in high school? Are you still holding a grudge because I was always first while you were last? Do you not like me that much to make me suffer like this?"

He kept his mouth shut. "Answer me!" Kyungsoo looked at her and softly replied, "I like you."

"Then why don't you just fire me!- What?"

"I like you, Joy. That's why I'm doing this."

Joy huffed, "I'm not in the mood to joke around, Kyungsoo."

"I'm not joking." Kyungsoo stepped closer to her, closing the gap between them. "I like you, Joy. I've liked you ever since high school. I thought doing this would let me keep you by my side."

Joy grew flustered but kept her glare on him. "Well you did the exact opposite. Have a good day, Mr. Do." Joy walked out and slammed the door behind her.

As soon as she walked out, she leaned on the door and slid down to the floor. She put her hand on her chest and gasped when it was beating rapidly. "I do not like him back! I'm just mad. I'm angry. That Do Kyungsoo will always just be the stupid sleepyhead he used to be."
