Plot: Jiyeon move 2 grades higher because she is too smart. There she met Kris and fall in love with him. A month later they started dating. A year later Kris broke up with Jiyeon because of EXO debut. 2 years after his debut Kris came back to his old school, but he was shock that his hyper, cheerful Jiyeon turn into cold girl. Will she change? And will she forgive Kris or NOT?

“Congratulations, Park Jiyeon student.”

Jiyeon raised a brow and stared at her teacher in confusion, “Congratulation?”

“Yup. You’re too smart to be in your current class, so the school has approved and moved you up two level. You’re now going to join your seniors in class.”

“But-”

“Don’t worry. They are kind students. I’m sure they will welcome you warmly.”

Jiyeon smiled in returned and bowed politely, “Thank you, Ms. Kim.”

“There’s no need to thank me. You have to do well in your tests now, hmm?”

Jiyeon nodded her head in determination, “So, I will join them after the winter vacation ended?”

“Yup, just next week.” Ms. Kim smiled while nodding her head, agreeing with her, “Get the books by this weekend, alright? The bookshop will be open.”

“Okay.”

“Anymore questions, dear?”

“I don’t think so.” Jiyeon shook her head slightly, pondering about more questions.

“Alright then. The class allocation will be out on the first day. Come on time and don’t be late on Monday, alright?”

“Yes, Ms. Kim. I won’t be late.”

“I know you won’t.” Ms. Kim laughed while waving her hands as she landed her elbow on the table, “Bye, Jiyeon-ah. See you on Monday. I’ll be your homeroom teacher so you will be just fine.”

Jiyeon beamed widely at her announcement and waved in return, “Bye-bye, Ms. Kim!” She turned her body and left the office at once.

Thinking about it alone made her happy. She was born with a smart brain, and she loved studying. She aced her tests every semester, and she even covered the topics way past her level.

Of course, the school wouldn’t wish to waste her time any longer, so they pushed her up next two levels, so that she could learn things she hasn’t caught on.

Jiyeon walked down the hallway with a bright smile on her face. *I can’t believe it!*

Still drowning in her own thoughts, she didn’t even realize she had already exited the school, and was walking back home.

However, on the way back, she would passed by a basketball court. She was too engrossed in her new advancement to even notice a ball flying her way.

“LOOK OUT!”

Jiyeon snapped out of her thoughts and turned her head to her right, only to find the ball right in front of her face.

*PAK*

Jiyeon lost her footing and she fell onto the floor, while clutching onto her forehead painfully. She could hear footsteps rushing up to her, and in no time, a big palm was grabbing onto her hand to move it away from her forehead.

Jiyeon opened her eyes and felt her pain gone.

In front of her, was a handsome young lad.

“Hey, are you fine?”

Jiyeon blinked and continued her stare at him, ignoring the fact that he was questioning her.

The guy frowned at her reaction and waved his hand in front of her face, “Hey! Does your head hurt? Did the ball hit you too hard? I’m so sorry!”

Jiyeon shook her head since she felt slight dizzy and blinked blankly at the ground.

“Hey! What number is this? Can you see?!”

Jiyeon shifted her vision to his fingers before letting out a chuckle, “It’s 3!”

“Phew!” The guy sighed in relief and finally relaxed his tensed body, “I thought you would faint. You looked so blank for a moment just now.”

Jiyeon giggled sheepishly as a reply, “I was just thinking about something. I’m sorry.”

She tried to stand up but the dizziness in her brain stopped her. The guy caught her on time, and he landed in his arms.

“Hey, are you fine? I think you need a doctor.”

Jiyeon shook her head and tried to stand up with his help, “I’m fine! Really!”

“Really?”

“Yup~!” Jiyeon sang and touched her forehead, only to feel a light bump on it, “Don’t worry. It’ll be fine soon. I got hit a lot~”

The guy managed to laugh at her honest comment, “I’m so sorry~”

“Nah, I’m alright!”

“Oh, I’m Yifan. Just call me Kris! Or oppa if you want to. You looked so young.”

Jiyeon smiled shyly and lowered her blushing face, “I’m Jiyeon! I’m 17 this year.”

“Well, I’m 19. You should call me oppa~!” Kris sang, “Are you really fine? Don’t you think you need a doctor?”

“I’m really fine, oppa.” Jiyeon assured and walked towards her house, “I have to go now, oppa. There’s school tomorrow and I have yet to prepare anything!”

Kris laughed in amusement while waving his hand to her, “Right. See you around, Jiyeon-ah!”

They separated their way then, not knowing they will meet again, soon.

Jiyeon got home and told the good news to her family, whom decided to whip out awesome dishes to celebrate that night, for her achievement.

“Now, let’s cheers for our baby in the house!”

Jiyeon was about to pick the wine bottle up, sneaking it from her brother but her brother caught it at once.

“Uh-uh! No wine for you, little kid. You’re underage!”

Jiyeon pouted and brought out her doe puppy eyes, “Just one mouth, oppa? Please~~~”

“Nope. One mouth and you will be drunk. Have you forgotten, young lady?” Her eldest brother demanded and shook his head to his brother.

She had three older brothers, and they loved her so much.

“Appa~~~”

“No, baby girl. Your brothers have the say.” Even her father gave into his sons. No one could beat the 3 brothers when it was involved with Jiyeon.

“Meanie~” Jiyeon pouted sadly and picked her bottle of orange juice up, “I will drink when I’m overage! Just saying!”

“We won’t let you!” Her brother poked his tongue out and shook his head as a response, “Just saying~”

Jiyeon scrunched her nose up cutely, and that earned laughter from her family.

They had a blast that night, before sending Jiyeon early to her room to rest, since her school would start the following day.

Jiyeon rolled around on her bed, trying to catch some sleep, but her mind would miraculously return to the moment when she met Kris in the basketball court.

“How I wish to see you again, Kris oppa…”

She chanted her wish for about eight times, before finally falling into deep sleep.

“Class, this is Park Jiyeon. Transferee from junior class. Will my students be able to welcome her warmly?” Ms. Kim cooed, and indeed, her students roared with welcome notes.

“I knew it~” She beamed and hugged Jiyeon’s shoulders tightly, “Introduce yourself, Jiyeon-ah.”

Jiyeon smiled shyly and bowed towards the class, “Hello! My name is Park Jiyeon. Erm, I’m 17 this year. And erm, I hope I’m welcomed here. I wish to be friends with all of you~”

The girls squealed at how cute she was and waved brightly to her, in which she waved in return. As for the guys, they too, were admiring her beauty.

“Right. So, Jiyeon-ah. Let’s see where I can put you… AHA!” Ms. Kim snapped her fingers in happiness before pointing towards the empty seats by the window.

“Hmmm… Kris is late again?!”

Jiyeon’s ears perked up at that special name. *Kris?! Kris oppa?!*

“It’s okay. Now, Jiyeon. Sit over there. At the empty seat by the aisle. Kris prefers the seat by the window.” Ms. Kim pushed her back gently, and Jiyeon walked to her seat obediently.

“Hello, Jiyeon-ah! I’m Haeyoon! Don’t worry, I won’t bite! Just call me unnie!”

Jiyeon beamed widely at the enthusiastic girl in front of her, “Hello, Haeyoon unnie~”

“Good girl! Let’s eat lunch together, alright?!” Haeyoon patted her head. Jiyeon nodded as a reply, before Haeyoon turned back to the front.

“OH! There you are! Kris! Come on in! You’re late!”

Kris bowed slightly as apology and walked down to his seat, only to find his empty partner-desk being occupied.

“That’s Jiyeon! Your new seatmate! Go and say hi!”

Kris smiled as he heard Ms. Kim announced behind him before walking back to his seat. “Hey, Jiyeon-ah. We meet again, I see.”

Jiyeon beamed even wider than before, “Hello, Kris oppa!”

“Do you guys know each other?” Haeyoon heard their conversation and couldn’t help but ask.

“Yeah. We met yesterday.” Kris replied coolly before returning his smile to Jiyeon. Haeyoon widened her eyes in surprise.

*Is Kris smiling?! Wow! Jiyeon must be something!*

“Now, class. Let’s play some games before starting the lesson, shall we? Since we know each other so well, we can jolly well skip the introductions~”

“YEAH!” Students roared with agreement and clapped happily, as some were banging their hands on the table.

The lesson continued after some mini games, and soon, lunch period came quickly.

“Hey, Jiyeon-ah! Let’s go for lunch!”

“Okay, Haeyoon unnie! I’m finishing this up! Just one last line!” Jiyeon cooed and finished her notes right on time when she finished speaking, “I’m done! Thank you for waiting, unnie~”

Right when Jiyeon was about to walk over to Haeyoon, Kris tugged her wrist to stop her. He eyed Haeyoon and her friends before nodding his head towards Jiyeon, “She will be eating with me, so you girls can go on your own.”

Haeyoon sent a teasing grin and shoved Jiyeon to him playfully, “Fine fine~ Just don’t bully her, Kris Wu. She’s my friend now!”

Kris waved her off and pulled Jiyeon out of the classroom with him.

“Erm, Kris oppa…”

Kris ignored her and scanned around the cafeteria’s stores, “What do you want to eat?”

“Kris oppa…”

He finally looked at her, “Yeah?”

Jiyeon pointed to their interlocking hands and bit her lips shyly, “People are looking at us.”

“Let them see then.” Kris chuckled and pulled her over to the Bibimbap store, “How about bibimbap?”

Jiyeon followed his orders and ignored the others, “Okay!” She eyed the food on the display set and she could feel her stomach growling.

“I’m hungry, oppa~”

Kris laughed even louder and ordered the rice when it’s their turn, “The food will be done soon, don’t worry!”

Indeed, the two bowls of rice were done in no time, and Kris carried it over to an empty seat they found at a corner.

Jiyeon dug into the rice at once, and she made sure she left no leftover in it.

“Are you that hungry?” Kris stared at her bowl in amazement, since she finished it even faster than him.

Jiyeon simply let out a silly grin, “Yes, oppa~”

Kris smiled in return, and at that moment, he felt an amazing feeling in his heart.

Just like that, Kris demanded her to eat lunch with him every single day, and he even brought her out for dinner sometimes, when there was lesser homework to complete. He made sure thee got into the same group if there were projects, and he made sure she wasn’t tired at all. That was the first time he actually contributed 50% of the project work.

Time flew, and one month passed just like that. Kris couldn’t take it any longer, and he asked her out, finally.

Of course, Jiyeon was also waiting for his question. She had been crushing on him for so long, but she wouldn’t dare to confess first. That’s how shy she was.

And alas!

Kris planted the question, and she accepted him at once.

They went to school the next day with their hands intertwined.

“I KNEW IT!” Haeyoon screamed in joy and pointed towards their hands happily, “YOU TWO ARE TOGETHER! I KNEW IT! YOU TWO WERE SO OBVIOUS, OH PLEASE!”

The whole class cheered happily, and Jiyeon hid her blushing face into his chest.

“Eh-heh!” Kris frowned and glared at his classmates playfully, “Stop teasing now. My girl is embarrassed!”

“Oooooooooohhhhhhhh~~~~”

“Class, settle down. What’s going on here?!” Ms. Kim arrived right on time to stop their noise. Kris brought Jiyeon back to their seat and he sat close to her.

“MS. KIM! KRIS AND JIYEONIE ARE TOGETHER NOW!”

“Finally?!” Ms. Kim cooed as she winked at Jiyeon, “He finally asked you huh, Jiyeon?”

“Not you too, Ms. Kim~!” Jiyeon pouted and whined slightly, which caused the class to burst into laughter again.

With that, the lesson went on as usual, but from that day onwards, Kris made sure Jiyeon was close to him at all times.

It went on for months. Kris would be protective over Jiyeon, and he was even introduced to her three beloved brothers.

Kris got along really well with them, and the three brothers made sure he protected her at all cost. They even threatened, playfully, that he would have a broken leg if he made their sister cry.

Jiyeon felt blessed throughout these few months, and she couldn’t be happier than that.

She had a perfect family who loved her.

She had a perfect brain which allowed her to be smart and eventually, led her to her first love. Yes, Kris was her first love, and she hoped he would be her last love too.

They shared things among themselves, and Kris was the most happiest when he found out he was her first love.

Of course, Jiyeon was happy when she found out she was Kris’s first love too. He admitted he had no girlfriends before, and she was the first girl to make his heart fluttered. She believed him, and they enjoyed their months together to the fullest.

However, what Jiyeon didn’t know was that Kris was hiding something from her.

He was actually being scouted by SM entertainment, when he was walking down the streets in Myeongdong. He had no idea how to spill the news to her, so he stayed silent with it.

Kris just returned home from his practice, and his mind was spinning with countless thoughts. He had no idea what he should do.

SM entertainment just released the debut date to the members, and they were being told to be free from scandals before they even debut.

Of course, being in a relationship was a big no to them.

Kris was fighting among himself. He loved Jiyeon so much, but he loved what he was doing too. He had trained half a year with SM entertainment, and he didn’t want to give up at all.

So, in the end, he chose what he thought would be the best for him.
