“Kim Myungsoo, Park Jiyeon. Please proceed to the staff office right now.”

The school’s media alerted the whole school and the two said students frowned and groaned in annoyance, “I didn’t do anything wrong!”

“Just go and see what they say!” Their best friends, Woohyun and Hyomin respectively, giggled and pushed them off their seats.

The two students met right outside the staff office and stopped when they got eye contact.

Myungsoo raised a brow and looked at her nametag, “So you’re Park Jiyeon huh?”

“You’re Kim Myungsoo?” Jiyeon scoffed in return, using the same tone, and crossed her arms.

“Such a rude kid.” Myungsoo shook his head and which made her frowned deeply, “You’re the one who started it!” She stepped onto his foot and entered the office before him, leaving the poor boy jumping on one foot, while holding onto the other painfully.

“Park Jiyeon.”

“Hello, Ms. Lee.” Jiyeon bowed and smiled graciously, totally different from before, which made the entering Myungsoo gasped.

“Kim Myungsoo.”

He walked to the front of the teacher’s desk and bowed a little, limping. But he managed to whisper a soft sentence to her, “Such a two-faced .”

Jiyeon bit her lips to control her anger and ignored him, “Ms. Lee. Why did you called for the two of us?”

“Oh right! Jiyeon, you are good in Math. And you top the cohort every year. So the school had made arrangement for you to tutor this poor kid here. He’s failing in Math.”

That made both Myungsoo and Jiyeon widened their eyes hugely.

“WHAT?!”

Ms. Lee was taken aback and looked at the two students in front of her, “You can’t do it, Jiyeon? But you’re the only good student in Math and I believe you’re the only one who can control this mischievous student here.”

Jiyeon coughed it away and smiled brightly again, “I guess its okay with me, Ms. Lee. I can tutor him as long as he won’t give me trouble.”

Well, that sentence was meant for Myungsoo to hear, of course.

Myungsoo gritted his teeth and looked at Jiyeon, “Fine with me. You’re dead anyways.” He gave a last glare and walked out of the office quickly.

Jiyeon bowed and followed suit immediately, trying to catch up with him to talk about the schedules and all.

But when she reached the fifth steps, she was being stopped all of the sudden, just because she bumped into his back. “YAH!”

Myungsoo turned around and glared at her, “Stop yah-ing me, woman.” He glared at her and poked her forehead.

“THEN WHY DID YOU STOP!?”

He tilted his head to the front and Jiyeon saw two figures talking happily with each other, “HYOMIN UNNIE!”

Hyomin turned her head towards the direction when she heard her name and waved, “Jiyeon-ah! How’s it going? What did the teacher tell you?”

Jiyeon ran over to her side and pouted badly, “I have to tutor that jerk.” She looked behind and Hyomin knew at once it’s Myungsoo. She turned to look at the guy she was talking to just now and giggled, “I guess you know what the teacher told Myungsoo?”

“Yeah, he’s dead meat for sure.” Woohyun giggled back and hooked his arm around Myungsoo’s shoulder, “Buddy. You got yourself a tutor~”

Myungsoo elbowed him and glared back, “Don’t talk about it. She’s a weird kid.” He said out loud and walked off swiftly, with Woohyun following behind.

“I’M NOT A KID!” Jiyeon roared back and tried to run up to him but Hyomin pulled her back, “Image, woman!”

Jiyeon pouted again and turned to Hyomin sadly, “Unnie… He’s not a good guy. He teased me and bullied me. I can’t tutor him. How about you tutor him instead?!” She brightened up at once when she thought of that new idea.

Hyomin giggled and patted her head like an adult, “No can do. It’s your responsibility, Jiyeon-ah. So what should you do?”

Jiyeon sulked badly and slouched her shoulders in defeat, “Take the responsibility and tutor him Math.”

“That’s better.” Hyomin giggled and pulled her, “Let’s go now~ Unnie will treat you lunch!”

“FOOD!”

The next day, Jiyeon found Myungsoo sitting down with his friend in the cafeteria and walked towards him immediately, with Hyomin behind her.

“This is the schedule! Don’t be late! Venue is the library!”

She pushed one piece of paper into his face and walked off to find a seat for herself and her best friend.

Myungsoo scoffed in disbelief and that made Woohyun laughed happily.

“OWNED, DUDE!”

Myungsoo glared at him and looked at the paper on his hands, “4 hours each day, after school. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday too?! IS SHE INSANE?!”

Woohyun laughed even harder and patted his shoulders happily, “Who asked you in Math!”

Myungsoo pushed his hands away and glared at his tutor. He held the paper in his hand tightly and walked over to her table, “4 hours. 4 days a week. ARE YOU CRAZY?!”

Jiyeon rolled her eyes and looked right back into his, “You have to study hard if you want to pass Math. You in it, so no choice.” She shrugged but Myungsoo could see right through her sarcasm.

“You little kid! Change Friday to Tuesday! I’m busy on Friday!”

Jiyeon shook her head and stood strong on her decision, “I’m not free on Tuesday.”

“Oh~ Date with your boyfriend? Do you even have one?!” Myungsoo laughed out loud and pointed his index finger at her. Jiyeon bit her lips when she could feel her heart breaking again.

Hyomin saw it and held her hands tightly. Well, Woohyun saw that too, so he smacked Myungsoo’s head hardly which made him groaned, “HYUNG!”

Woohyun frowned and nodded towards Jiyeon’s direction.

Myungsoo followed his signs and found Jiyeon sobbing in her seat which made him gulped nervously. *Why did she cry?!*

“I’m not free on Tuesday and that’s it. Monday and Wednesday to Friday, library after school. Come or not, up to you.” Jiyeon said coldly before walking away from the table.

Woohyun smacked Myungsoo’s head once again and hissed, “You made her cry!”

Myungsoo rubbed his pained head and sulked, “I didn’t know…”

Hyomin sighed and sat where she was, and that gained the attention from the two guys.

“You’re not going after her?”

“Today’s Tuesday isn’t it?”

The two guys nodded their head innocently, waiting for her next sentence.

“Well. She likes to be alone on Tuesday. And most preferably, she likes Tuesday to be a raining day.”

Myungsoo and Woohyun frowned deeply. They hated rains. Rains meant no parties. “Why so?”

“Her boyfriend, Byunghun, died from heat when he was out in a mountain climbing trip with his fellow colleagues. And he passed away on a Tuesday. So every Tuesday, Jiyeon would go right home after school, and looked at the photo with her boyfriend for the whole day, ignoring the whole world beside her.”

The two guys gasped loudly and looked at Hyomin in shock.

“So… I’ve said something bad just now.”

Woohyun scoffed and smacked his head for the third time, and this time round, Myungsoo didn’t even react to it. “You’ve just said things much worse than bad.”

Myungsoo bit his lips and fidgeted about his seat, “I didn’t know…”

Hyomin sighed and shrugged her shoulders, “don’t upset her any longer than. She’s fragile than she looked like.”

Myungsoo nodded his head as an agreement and left the two of them alone, thinking of chasing Jiyeon to apologize to her.

“Hmmm… So we meet again.” Woohyun giggled and wriggled his eyebrow playfully. Hyomin laughed with him and smacked his arms playfully. And they began another conversation together.
