 “Oppa~ One cappuccino for table 3!”

“Okay~” Myungsoo sang as he pressed the order into the system. “Wait. Baby! Why am I here, helping you?!”

Jiyeon pouted sadly as she leaned against the counter, right in front of him, “Do you really want to see your girlfriend so busy for the whole day? Your girlfriend would be so tired and couldn’t accompany you for a date later.”

“Oh I see~ And this boyfriend had to help her huh?”

“Of course! It’s an order!”

Myungsoo smiled lovingly before leaning forward quickly, to meet her lips with his.

“OPPA!”

“Why?”

“There are so many people around!”

“But it’s fine~ No one’s looking.” Myungsoo smirked and pushed Jiyeon back to the middle of the café, “Go on, baby~ Let’s finish your work and we can go~”

“Not so fast, Kim Myungsoo.” The boss of the café walked out, making Myungsoo frowned in horror again, “Hyung! Let her go early!”

“Nope~ Her work only ends at 9PM. You have to wait, mister~”

“Kris oppa~” Jiyeon sent him a pout which didn’t help much but adding her cute eyes to it, Kris melted at once.

“Fine, fine~ Since I’m a generous boss, you can go at 8PM. It’s better than nothing, right?”

Jiyeon smiled and ran towards him, squishing him into a big bear hug, whereas for Myungsoo, he stormed over to the duo right at once to pull them apart right away.

“Park Jiyeon. Don’t ever touch other guys again!”

Jiyeon giggled happily at the jealous figure of her boyfriend before pouncing onto him happily, “Don’t be jealous, oppa~ you know I only love you~”

“That better be it.”

“Would you think I would love someone else?”

“Not really… I’m too amazing for you to cheat on me.”

“Psh.” Jiyeon scoffed in disbelieved as she smacked his chest playfully, “Don’t be too conceited, oppa. That’s bad.”

“But you know it~”

Kris shivered at their mushy interaction before running back to his office, leaving the couple alone to continue their own lovey-dovey actions.

“Baby~ Table 6 is asking for order~”

Jiyeon ran to table 6 at once, after hearing his order. The zigzag café had changed their system, and a wait staff would run around the café, getting the orders instead of the customers ordering on their own.

It’s more tedious, but it’s much easier for the customers.

The employees made no complaint when Kris implemented it, and went on with the flow easily. It wasn’t difficult too, since Kris was a great boss.

Myungsoo would come over during weekends to help Jiyeon with her workload, since it was busier during weekends, and during weekdays, he would stay in his office to finish his own work scope.

It was difficult for him to stay put in his office the whole day after he met Jiyeon, but he had no other choices.

He had to help his family on their company too, since he was the only heir.

His parents knew about his love life, and couldn’t be happier than ever since he finally found someone he loved.

They weren’t those typical parents who would want their child to marry so their company could do well.

They weren’t like them.

Myungsoo’s parents were just happy since he found someone he truly loved. He decided to bring Jiyeon home for them to see that weekend too, and all he needed was to inform Jiyeon about it.

The café finally closed, and the couple walked towards his car happily, “Baby~”

“Hmm?”

“Shall we catch a late night movie?”

“Call! I wanted to watch a movie for so long!”

“What movie?”

“Miracle Cell No.7! Let’s watch that, hmm?!”

“I heard it’s a sad show.”

“But I heard it’s a touching show, oppa~ Let’s watch that~ Let’s watch that~”

“Okay, okay. It’s your call.” Myungsoo opened the door before bowing politely for her, “Let’s go, milady~”

“Oh thank you, young man~” Jiyeon giggled happily before slipping into the car happily, and Myungsoo rushed to the driver seat in a hurry, so as not to let her wait for long.

They went to the mall nearby and got the tickets at once. The show was an hour later, which meant they had some time left for window shopping.

They claimed to be window shopping, but those two were simply cuddling with each other as they walked.

People could only sent jealous and envy stares to the couple when they walked past them.

The time was finally up, and the couple moved up to the top level immediately. But Jiyeon stopped her steps all of the sudden, which confused Myungsoo too.

He looked at her and found a horrified expression on her face. She had her eyes and jaws widened, and she looked so angry. “What’s wrong, baby? Are you alright?”

Jiyeon didn’t respond, which made Myungsoo even more confused.

He looked up to where she was glaring at, and found his rival in a distance. “Byunghun?”

Jiyeon’s grip on Myungsoo’s hand tightened and he could feel it. “Are you okay, baby? Who’s that guy to you?”

“He… He’s my…”

Before she could continue, Byunghun spotted her. He widened his eyes in surprise and walked over to her in shame, “Hi, Jiyeon-ah.”

Jiyeon was still glaring at the guy, which left Myungsoo in further confusion.

“How are you doing these few years?”

Jiyeon scoffed and kicked his leg hard, which caused the guy to wince in pain, “Jiyeon-ah…”

“Don’t call my name! You have no rights to call my name now!” Jiyeon growled lowly, and pulled Myungsoo away from the scene.

They went into the theatre hall without any words, but Myungsoo was staring at her the whole time.

The movie began, and he finally turned his attention back to the screen.

It was funny and comedic at the front parts, but when it was nearer to the middle and ending parts, the movie turned out to be a sad movie.

Jiyeon cried like a mad woman and that caught Myungsoo’s attention again.

He pulled her into his arms, her hair gently while whispering sweet things into her ears. The movie ended, and Myungsoo stayed put in his seat with Jiyeon in his arms.

“Are you alright now, baby?”

“Hmm…”

“What’s wrong? I know it’s not the movie alone, baby. Is it that guy? Lee Byunghun?”

“How did you know him, oppa?”

“He’s one of my company rivals. We’d been competing for so long.”

Jiyeon pouted sadly and buried her head into his chest, hugging him even tighter, “That’s him, oppa. He made me love him, and played with my feelings. And even pushed the debts to my family.”

“He’s that bastard?!”

“Yeah…”

“Let’s go, baby! I’ll kill him now!”

Jiyeon allowed herself to be dragged blindly as she processed his words. “Wait, oppa! Don’t kill him!”

“No! I have to kill him now!”

“No you can’t oppa!”

“Why?! Don’t tell me you still love him huh?!”

Jiyeon pouted sadly and shrugged his hands away from her grip, “Do you really think that lowly of me?! If you kill him, you will go to jail! And what will happen to me then?! You’re so mean, oppa!”

And she stormed off to the exit of the mall.

Myungsoo slapped his own head and chased after her, bringing her into a back hug at once. “Baby~ I’m sorry. I said the wrong things because I was in a rush. I can’t think properly just now. I didn’t mean what I say. Forgive me, hmm?”

“You’re a meanie still!”

“Yes, I’m a meanie.” Myungsoo giggled and turned her around swiftly, “And you love this meanie, don’t you?”

Jiyeon heaved a defeated sigh and placed her arms on his chest, playing with his dress collar happily, “Yes, yes. Blame myself on that.”

Myungsoo beamed widely before pulling her in for a deep kiss.

“Ahem…”

The two finally pulled away and turned their heads to the direction of disruption, only to find the one Myungsoo wanted to kill so badly.

“Lee Byunghun.”

Byunghun rubbed his nape in shame before walking up to the couple, “Jiyeon-ah… Can we talk for a second? Alone?”

“No.” Jiyeon rejected straight flat, which made Myungsoo proud.

“Please?”

“No. I won’t talk to jerks again. I’ve learnt my lesson, Lee Byunghun. Thanks to you.” Jiyeon hissed and pulled Myungsoo away, yet again, leaving the regretful Byunghun behind.

He stared at her back figure and sighed sadly to himself. “I know I did wrong and I had been looking for you for the past two years. Yeon-ah, can’t you forgive me?”

And with no thoughts of chasing, he went back home at once.

Jiyeon stormed into her apartment angrily before slamming her coat on the couch, “STUPID JERK! WHO DOES HE THINK HE IS?!”

Myungsoo leaned against the wall with his arms crossed in front of his chest while looking at her in amusement.

“DAMN IT! THAT ! SUCH A JERK! WANNA TALK TO ME?! NO WAY!” Jiyeon screamed and took the cushion up to slam it back down onto the ground before jumping on it angrily.

But thanks to her slippery floor, she landed her on the ground in seconds.

Myungsoo widened his eyes in horror and ran up to her at once, pulling her onto his laps to check on her. “Are you okay, baby? Who told you to jump on the cushion huh?!”
