Plot: Jiyeon and Chanyeol is cousin. Chanyeol parents past away and Jiyeon's family help him a lot. Chanyeol love and take care of Jiyeon like a little sister but Jiyeon had a crush on him. IU is Chanyeol's sweet gf. Jiyeon always got jealous on her. Myungsoo is Chanyeol's friend and he loves Jiyeon. Jiyeon use Myungsoo to make Chanyeol jealous, when Myungsoo know about that he hates Jiyeon and on that time Jiyeon realize that she love Myungsoo.

“Chanyeolie oppa~” Jiyeon cooed and hopped down the stairs happily, “Let’s play today too!”

“Jiyeon-ah. I can’t play today. Chanyeol oppa has to do his homework.”

Jiyeon pouted sadly and hugged her teddy tightly, “Why? Is homework important?” Of course she wouldn’t know since she wasn’t in pre-school yet, like Chanyeol.

“Yes, it is important, Jiyeon.”

“Okay. Then can Jiyeon sit here beside oppa and look at you doing homework?”

“Yes you can.” Chanyeol patted the seat beside him and Jiyeon sat down at once. “Jiyeon promise I won’t disturb oppa!”

“That’s a good girl.” Chanyeol ruffled her hair playfully, and continued with his easy homework. Jiyeon really kept silent the whole time, as she played with her teddy.

Chanyeol finally finished his homework, but only to find Jiyeon asleep on the floor beside him. He let out a small smile before waking her up.

“Jiyeon-ah~ We can play now!”

Jiyeon rubbed her eyes tiredly and sat up, hugging her teddy tightly, “Oppa finishes your homework already?”

“Yes, Jiyeon. What do you want to play now?”

Jiyeon clapped her hands happily and pointed to the backyard, “Let’s play the swing oppa! Swing!”

“Alright then!”

They headed out and Chanyeol sat her on the swing before rushing to her back and pushed her slightly.

“Oppa~ I love you~”

Chanyeol giggled happily as he continued pushing her, “I love you too, my lovely sister~”

Jiyeon smiled at his words.

“KIDS~ WE’RE HOME~” Not long after, her parents returned and the two kids rushed to them at once.

“Did you bully your oppa, Jiyeon?”

“NO!” Jiyeon hopped around her parents, all hyped up, “Jiyeon did great! Jiyeon didn’t disturb oppa when he was doing homework!”

“Really?”

Her parents looked at Chanyeol and he simply nodded his head honestly, “Jiyeon did good today~”

“Such a good girl. Cookies for the kids then!” Her mother brought out a bag of cookies they bought, and the kids followed her to the living room happily.

They shared a happy time together before night fell again.

Jiyeon was already asleep, and her parents went to his room to tuck him in too. “Chanyeol-ah, are you doing well here? Do you like it here?”

“Yes, aunt.” Chanyeol smiled and nodded his head honestly, “Chanyeol is doing good.”

“That’s nice.” His uncle smiled and ruffled his hair playfully, “Goodnight, kiddo.”

“Goodnight uncle!”

“Chanyeol-ah, remember that your parents will be looking out for you in the heaven. If you miss them, just remember they’re the stars in the sky and talk to them. They will be the brightest star out there.”

Chanyeol smiled tearfully and looked outside the window. “Like that star?”

His aunt turned her head too, and nodded her head at his question, “Yes, like that one.” She bent her head down to peck his forehead and brushed his hair gently, “Sleep well, Chanyeol.”

“Goodnight, aunt!”

“Goodnight.”

She left the room, leaving Chanyeol staring at the brightest star out there. “Appa, omma. I miss you.” And he fell into sleep with a tear rolling down from his eye.

“OPPPPA~~~ WE’RE GOING TO BE LATE!” Jiyeon rushed into his room and pulled him up from the bed, “IT’S ALREADY 7.30! HALF AN HOUR MORE!”

Chanyeol jumped up from the bed and looked at the clock, “WHAT? 7.30 ALREADY?!”

“YES! OPPA UP NOW!”

“I’M UP! I’M UP! BREAKFAST!”

“AISH OPPA! WHY MUST YOU TAKE BREAKFAST EVERY MORNING?! WE DON’T EVEN HAVE TIME ALREADY!” Jiyeon hollered from the kitchen.

“YOU SHOULD WAKE ME UP EARLIER!” And he returned the shout from the bathroom.

“IT’S NOT MY FAULT I WOKE UP LATE TOO! NO! I WOKE UP ON TIME!”

“Then you should put your alarm earlier next time so you have time to wake me up.” Chanyeol buttoned his uniform up as he grabbed the warm toast on the plate.

“Why can’t you make your own alarm, oppa?”

“Because I won’t even wake up from it.” Chanyeol shrugged his shoulders and took another toast. “Come on, where’s my last toast?”

“It’s coming out soon, oppa! Wait for it!” Jiyeon sighed and went over to pick her bags up, while waiting for the toaster to do its job.

*DING*

“Alright. Get your toast, oppa. I’ll get your bag.”

Chanyeol took the bread and munched it down, as told, and Jiyeon brought his bag to the door, waiting for him.

“Off the switch too!”

Chanyeol returned to the kitchen and off it before running to the door again. “Let’s go now, gogogo!”

“And who to blame for it~”

“Stop teasing me already~”

Jiyeon giggled as she locked the door up. “Fine fine. Sleepy head, let’s go now.”

Together, the both of them headed down to school in a rush. Jiyeon was in her junior year, and Chanyeol was in his last senior year, waiting to graduate.

“Finally! On time again!” Chanyeol cooed and held his palm up high when they crossed the gate just before it closed.

Jiyeon slapped his palm and giggled happily with him. “YES! But seriously, oppa… No more next time, please. It’s tiring.”

“But fun.”

They shared a good laugh before separating to each other’s way, to their own classroom.

And when lunch time arrived, Jiyeon rushed to his classroom to wait for him for lunch. Senior year was difficult, and thus, their teacher would dismiss them later.

It had always been like this.

Jiyeon would wait for him, so they would eat together, alongside his friend, Kim Myungsoo.

However, it was weird that noon since a new girl tagged along with them.

Jiyeon raised a brow and eyed her cousin weirdly. “Hi, oppa~ Hi Myungsoo oppa~ And hi…”

“Jieun. Lee Jieun. People like to call her IU.” Chanyeol replied for her and smiled warmly to the petite girl.

“I see…” Jiyeon nodded her head in understanding, not suspecting anything else, and brought her hand up, “Hello! I’m Park Jiyeon!”

“I’ve heard lots about you. Just call me IU like everyone too!” Jieun took her hand and they shook their hands happily.

“Heard lots about me?”

“Yeah. Chanyeol likes to talk about how messy and untidy you are.”

Jiyeon narrowed her eyes and glared at Chanyeol, which caused him to run for his life. “AISH! JIEUN BABE! HOW COULD YOU DO THAT?”

Jiyeon stopped chasing him and frowned in confusion, “Jieun babe?”

Chanyeol stopped too, and walked back to her when he felt safe. “What’s wrong? Giving up already?”

Jiyeon frowned and looked at him sadly, “Jieun babe means?”

“Oh!” Chanyeol slapped his own forehead and laughed sheepishly, “I didn’t tell you, did I? Jieun is my sweet little girlfriend.” He went over to Jieun and hugged her shoulders to him, tightly, and placed a quick kiss on the side of her head.

“CHANYEOL!” Jieun yelped in surprise, which caused the said guy to laugh madly at her reaction.

But Jiyeon didn’t find that funny.

She had always harbored a feeling for him. Chanyeol often said ‘I love you’ to her too, but now she knew that was only a sibling love from him.

She wanted to confess sometime in the future, but how could she when he has a girlfriend?

“Jiyeon, are you alright?” Myungsoo frowned sadly when he spotted her sad expression, “You looked pale.”

Jiyeon shook her head and laughed it off, pretending to be alright. “I’m okay!”

“Really?” Chanyeol frowned and touched her forehead, “You’re not hot though. No fever. Are you really okay?”

“Of course!” Jiyeon stepped back and laughed foolishly. “I’m fine! Oh! I have things to do. Go for lunch, guys! I’ll take my lunch on my own!”

And she ran off to the opposite direction.

“Is she okay?” Jieun frowned as she spotted her running figure, away from them, “She looks so pale.”

“She will be fine. She’s often like this.” Chanyeol smiled and led them to the cafeteria for lunch, oblivious to the fact that Jiyeon was crying to herself in the corner of the library.

Jiyeon opened herself, and finally accepted the fact that Chanyeol was attached. It took her a week before she could eat with him and his friends again.

“Jiyeon-ah, is your thing done now? You’re always so busy during lunch. Did you even eat?”

Jiyeon nodded her head as she took a mouthful of rice off her share, “Yup~ Teacher’s crazy. Sending me to do stuffs. But it’s over now!”

“That’s good.”

They continued with their food, and Jiyeon felt so awful when she had to witness how Chanyeol and Jieun were feeding each other happily.

Myungsoo poked her arm, and she turned her head to look at him. “Yes, Myungsoo oppa?”

“Come with me.”

He waved her over, and she walked to him willingly.

He brought her out to the garden and brought her under the huge tree.

“Myungsoo oppa. You have something to tell me privately?” Jiyeon raised a brow and blinked and him, in which he only nodded his head.

“Okay… What is it, oppa?”

Myungsoo took a deep breath and grabbed her hands, shocking her immediately. “Oppa?”

“Jiyeon-ah.”

“Hmm?”

“I like you.”

Jiyeon widened her eyes and blinked at him blankly, “Eo?”

“I’ve always like you, Jiyeon-ah. To the extent that my heart would beat crazily around you! Like now!” And he brought her hand up to his chest.

Jiyeon gasped in surprise when she felt the fast heartbeat of his. “Myungsoo oppa… I…”

“I know it’s all so sudden. You can take your time to think about it.” Myungsoo took her hand down, but still grabbing it in his hands, “I hope you can think about it thoroughly. You don’t have to reply now but-”

“Okay.”

“What?” Myungsoo widened his eyes and stared at her.

“Okay, oppa. I’m willing to be your girlfriend.” Jiyeon smiled as she looked at him in the eyes. *I’m sorry oppa. I think it’s the best way to make Chanyeol jealous. Maybe I will find out he likes me too.*

The oblivious Myungsoo yelled happily and hugged her tightly, “Thank you, Jiyeon-ah. Thank you! I can finally call you my girl now!”

Jiyeon returned the hug as she felt something warm inside her. “I’m happy to call you mine too, oppa.”

They returned to the cafeteria hand-in-hand, and Jieun noticed it first. “Eo! You guys are together now?!”
