Myungyeon, T-ara

Myungsoo are the cold guy in a high school (I don't know the name of school, it's up to you) while T-ARA are the Queenka. But T-ARA had bad attitude. They make bet, if Jiyeon can get Myungsoo in one month and dump him after a week, they'll get whatever Jiyeon want. Jiyeon agree it. Of course Myungsoo hard to get. While Jiyeon try to get Myungsoo, she falls in love with him. Myungsoo too, fall for her. 3 weeks later, they officially date. T-ARA knows it and they told Jiyeon to break up with Myungsoo like what contained in the bet. Jiyeon don't want to. Unfortunately, Myungsoo heard it and slap her. “Maknae.”

Jiyeon tore her eyes away from her food but she was still eating, and moved her eyes to her friends. “Hmm?”

“Look at him.”

Her eyes moved again, and it caught a student sitting by the window seat. “Hmm?”

“He’s the coldest man in school. No smile, no laugh, no word. Not even once, ever since he was here.”

Jiyeon finally stopped eating and fixed her eyes on the cold man, “And?”

“Kim Myungsoo. He’s our senior! He’s a year older and is graduating this year.”

“And?”

Eunjung smirked before leaning her chin on her palm, on the table top, “Get him.”

“What?”

“Get him to be your boyfriend within one month, and date him for one week before breaking up with him.” Eunjung then looked at the others, as they snickered playfully.

“Why me?”

“Because you’re the youngest!”

Jiyeon scoffed and placed her chopsticks down onto the table, “So it’s a bet?”

“Yeah!”

“What’s in for me then?”

“If you did it, you get whatever you want from us, deal?”

“Whatever I want?”

“Yes, whatever you want. You know we are rich too.”

Jiyeon let out a playful smirk, not even hesitating to reject it, “This is a deal.”

And at that point, their fan-boys saw her smirk and squealed like a fan-girl, feeling so satisfied they saw that side from the Queenkas of Manwon High School again.

After that day, Jiyeon dedicated her time to get to know the cold man, Kim Myungsoo.

Yes, she attended lessons as usual. Well, even though they were the Queenkas, they still have lessons to attend, and they did go obediently.

Right when the bell rang, signifying lunch time, she ran out of her classroom, racing up the stairs, just to wait for the cold man right outside his classroom.

*Phew! Thank goodness Mr. Im haven’t let them off yet!*

She wiped her sweat off while waiting outside his classroom, yet again. It was the third day since she had been doing that, and every male in the classroom was jealous indeed.

They envied the cold man.

They saw how the famous youngest Queenka approached him after he walked out three days ago, but all they could do was to look at Myungsoo in envy.

Well, since they knew they couldn’t get their hands on the pretty maknae, they started teasing Myungsoo instead.

Boys being boys, all they did was ‘woo-ed’ and ‘ahh-ed’ once they saw Jiyeon standing outside the classroom.

Even Mr. Im joined in.

He smiled when he saw Jiyeon standing outside the door before turning to Myungsoo, “I see someone has his partner here! I have to let you guys go or Myungsoo will hunt me down, right?”

“YES!!!!!!!”

“Alright, alright. Class dismissed!”

The class turned chaotic at once. Some went out for food, some stayed and waited for their friends before taking their lunchboxes out, while a few went over to Myungsoo, teasing him further.

But all he did was stand up, and walk out of the room without a word.

Jiyeon followed him all the way to the cafeteria, and she knew he was about to buy his lunch and sit in his corner again.

No, she wouldn’t allow it.

Jiyeon dragged Myungsoo out to the garden, before sitting him on the wooden bench. Right after he sat, she took a seat beside him and took out her home-made lunch.

Actually, she had a list of ‘to-dos’ and ‘not-to-dos’ in her notebook.

This was the first on the ‘to-dos’ list.

#1: Cook lunch for Kim Myungsoo, every day if possible.

“Here! I’ve made lunch for us!”

Myungsoo looked at the lunchbox, before fixing his eyes on her, staring blankly at her.

“Take it! I’m sure it will be nice!” Jiyeon giggled while pushing the opened box to his palms. He took it, blankly, and she pushed the spoon to his hand.

“Go on! Eat it! I made it especially for you!”

Myungsoo returned his vision back to the lunchbox. *What in the world is she trying to do? Weirdo…*

Jiyeon sighed playfully before bringing her lunch up to her face, and taking a spoonful of rice off it, “Look at me, oppa!”

And he did.

“Put the spoon into your mouth like this! AHHHH~”

And she munched happily onto her food. “Eat it, oppa! Do I have to feed you?”

Myungsoo rolled his eyes before placing the lunchbox down onto the bench, and stood up, surprising her at once.

“Oppa! Where are you going?”

He ignored her and walked away instead. Jiyeon left the lunch on the bench before chasing after him right away. “Oppa! Is the food not nice? But you haven’t even taken a bite! Or I know! You don’t like rice? I’ll cook something else tomorrow, oppa! What do you want, hmm? I can cook anything!”

Silence.

“Oppa~ Come on! Eat with me or I’ll be alone!”

Myungsoo shrugged her hands off his arm, before walking back to the cafeteria, leaving her alone in the garden.

Jiyeon simply looked at his figure, which was becoming smaller and smaller each second. “It’s fine! Park Jiyeon doesn’t give up. There’s no such word as ‘give-up’ in Park Jiyeon’s dictionary! HA! Bring it on, Kim Myungsoo! I’ll make sure you fall for me!”

She ate her food happily, cheering for herself before returning to her classroom.

Right after school had ended, Jiyeon sped to his classroom again, and waited for him to be released. This time, she did not wait long indeed.

She followed him all the way, even though he was sending him glares at time, to his workplace yet again.

#2: Follow Myungsoo to his workplace and wait for him, every day if possible.

She had been doing this for the past few days too.

A bookstore.

He was just a cashier, doing nothing but sitting by the table and waiting for customers to check the items out.

Jiyeon would hang around the store the whole day, while waiting for him to finish his work. She didn’t mind facing books the whole day if she achieved her goal in the end.

After his work had ended, he left the store without telling Jiyeon, who was dozing off. Thank goodness her head knocked onto the shelves so she would wake up, only to find him gone.

She raced out of the store, searched left and right, and there he was.

“Oppa! Why didn’t you wake me up?!” She ran up to his side and hugged his arm tightly, while sending him a sad pout.

He, once again, shrugged her hands off before walking ahead.

“Come on! Oppa~ I’m hungry now! Let’s eat dinner, shall we? At your favourite convenience store? I’ll treat you to your favourite café mocha and ramen!”

And she dragged him to the convenience store he always went.

#3: Eat ramen and drink café mocha with Kim Myungsoo, every day if possible.

He did not refuse this time round, since he was indeed going to the same store for dinner. That was his everyday life, and she mastered it.

She didn’t mind eating ramen every night too, if it was to achieve her goal.

Yes, in her mind, everything would be related to her final goal: Getting award from her group of girlfriends.

After dinner, she ‘walked’ him home, before returning to her apartment after bidding him goodnight, even though her apartment was at the other end of the area.

The next day, everything was the same.

From lunch to work to dinner, everything.

It had been the same for three weeks.

Jiyeon followed him everywhere he went, and she even started telling stories about herself to Myungsoo.

#4: Do not give up even if Kim Myungsoo ignores you.

#5: Visit Kim Myungsoo at his house during weekends, surprise him with either lunch or dinner if possible.

#6: Fighting, Park Jiyeon!

Her ‘to-dos’ list was simple, yes, but they were hard to achieve.

And yes, she did not give up.

She tried so hard till the last week of the said period, and he finally showed some improvements. Myungsoo ate her lunch.

Yes. Myungsoo ate the lunch she made.

Jiyeon jumped around the garden in happiness, before giving him a tight hug while he ate, which made him choked instead.

“Oh my god! I’m so sorry, oppa! I was just so happy! You ate the food I made!” And she started laughing while running around him, happily.

After school, she followed him to the bookstore again and waited patiently for him in a corner where no one would past through.

And when Myungsoo was about to leave after his work had ended, he walked up to her before patting her head.

Jiyeon jumped up at once, and beamed widely at his touch before grabbing his arm, yet again.

Well, he did not shrug it off this time.

They went to the convenience store together, had their same dinner, before she walked him home too.

“Goodnight, oppa! I’ll see you tomorrow!”

Myungsoo simply gave her a slight nod, before walking into his apartment building.

Jiyeon went to the bus stop and right at
