“Annyeong, unnie! See you all tomorrow!” Jiyeon waved goodbye happily to her members before getting to her car.

“Bye, Jiyeon-ah~”

Jiyeon closed the door and her smile was gone.

She lowered her head sadly with tears filling up her eyes again.

She was in pain.

So much pain.

Jiyeon wiped her falling tears away and started her engine, “Be strong, Jiyeon-ah. Everything will be over before you know it.”

Everyone thought she was getting better, she was recovering from the scandal, the controversy, but no.

She wasn’t.

“Let’s go now! It’s free time till night!” Woohyun cooed, lighting the atmosphere a little. The members soon went out and headed to the van they always used, but Myungsoo bade goodbye at the lift.

“Ah right! Myungsoo came by his car.”

Myungsoo nodded his head and waved them off before getting down to the basement.

He walked to his car and was about to get in, only to realize the car next to his was on. “Weird…” He took a peek and realized there was a girl in the driver’s seat and she had her head on top of the steering wheel. “Is she okay?”

He took a closer look, only to see her shoulders going up and down.

She was crying.

Myungsoo frowned and knocked onto her window lightly.

She looked up, with her tearful face, and sniffled once.

Myungsoo saw her face and felt his heart stopped. It was his crush, his real crush and not the one from the scandal.

Jiyeon wiped her tears away and lowered the window immediately, “M-Myungsoo-ssi?”

“Are you okay?” Myungsoo managed to be calm.

“Yes, I’m okay. Thank you.” Jiyeon smiled and was about to pull her window up but Myungsoo stopped it.

He sent her a smile before braving himself to lean closer, “You’re not okay.”

“I really am!”

“Then you wouldn’t be crying alone here.”

Jiyeon lowered her head sadly. She was caught. “I… I just needed some space to release my stress! That’s all!”

And he knew at once it was fake.

Myungsoo sighed and jogged to the passenger’s seat, getting in without permission. “I hope you don’t mind me getting in.”

“I-It’s… fine…”

Myungsoo smiled and turned to her, sending her a wide grin, “You can share with me, you know? I’ll be glad to be your listening ears!”

“I…”

“Sometimes… It’s good to spill everything out than to bottle it in your heart.”

Jiyeon’s lips trembled. It was the first time someone said this to her and it touched her heart. “I…” She turned to him with her eyes full of tears again.

But he wasn’t flustered.

Instead, he waited for her to speak.

“E-Everyone thought I recovered from the scandal two years ago… But I’m not… I’m still hurt… Many fans turned antis… and… and I read the antis’ comments and they hurt a lot… I… I don’t know why I read them… My fingers… They just go into the webs themselves and brought me there… They said I’m the big bully… They said… They said I bullied everyone in the group… They said I bullied my unnies too… I did not… I did not!”

She burst into tears as he watched.

Jiyeon nodded against his chest and hugged him tighter, crying madly into his chest.

He simply waited patiently for her to calm down.

“Feeling better now?”

Jiyeon managed a smile and nodded her head lightly. “Thank you, Myungsoo-ssi.”

“Just call me oppa.”
