Jiyeon and Myungsoo are both icy persons inside and out. They went to different schools and their schools are rivals and so are they. They hated each other to the core. BUT they are married already to each other. SECRETLY, since it’s an arranged marriage. They'll do anything just to make one another mad.

"KIM MYUNGSOO! GET THE DOOR!”

“NO! YOU GET IT!”

“YOU GET IT! IT’S YOUR DAY TODAY!”

“WHAT THE ?! IT WAS YOURS! MINE WAS YESTERDAY!”

“JUST GET THE ING DOOR, KIM MYUNGSOO!”

“YOU GET IT!”

Jiyeon kicked her blanket away harshly, sent a kick to his since he was sleeping on the mattress, before storming out to get the door.

“Who is it?! It’s only 9 in the morning!” She groaned and opened the door harshly, but to her horror, 5 ladies stood outside with wide grins on their faces.

“JIYEON! WE’RE HERE! SURPRISE~”

Jiyeon widened her eyes in horror and slammed the door right on their faces, surprising them. “GIVE ME A MINUTE! I’LL FIX MYSELF AND MY HOUSE FIRST!”

But as she said that, she was rushing into their bedroom. “Kim Myungsoo! Wake up! Wake up now! Come on!”

“WHAT THE HELL-”

Jiyeon gasped in horror and cupped his mouth with both of her palms as she sat on top of him.

Right then, their eyes met, and there was an indescribable feeling in their heart.

Myungsoo could definitely felt his heart jumped crazily, and Jiyeon definitely felt the sparks in her whole body.

The door banged once more, and Jiyeon got off him quickly, pushing her feelings aside, “You’ve got to help me.”

Myungsoo let a low growl, “What now?” But he was hiding the fluffy feeling in his heart.

“My friends are here. Hide here and don’t ever come out.”

“You’re asking me to hide in here? This is my house too, Park Jiyeon.” He turned stern once more, which made her mad.

But the banging of the front door made her panicked, “Just this once! I owe you one, alright?” And she rushed out to get the front door while trying to fix herself up.

The girls raised a brow and eyed her clothes, “Erm… You didn’t change though.”

Jiyeon shrugged her shoulders and opened the door wider for them. No matter how cold she was, she won’t let her friends make a wasted trip.

Well, she knew her their house was far away from where everyone else was staying, so she wasn’t that cold-hearted to kick all of them out after such a long travel, early in the morning.

But she had questions for them.

“Why are you girls doing here? This hour?”

Soyeon smiled and plopped down on her fluffy couch happily, “It’s because we intended to give you a surprise, of course.”

“Isn’t it obvious?” Boram smirked and plopped right down next to Soyeon.

The girls soon followed suit, but Hyomin, being the all-time curious girl, ran about the apartment, trying to inspect every corner.

Jiyeon widened her eyes when Hyomin was about to walk into their bedroom. “PARK HYOMIN!”

The poor girl jumped in surprise and kept her hands to herself immediately, “What? What’s wrong?! I just wanted to explore your house!”

“That’s my room and I don’t like people inside. You know that.” Jiyeon hissed dangerously, and Hyomin ran towards the couch immediately, earning teases from the rest of the girls.

“I’ll get you some drinks.” Jiyeon sighed and went to the kitchen, finally getting it into her head that her friends were there.

They sat around until late noon, which was frustrating both Jiyeon and the poor guy in the room.

Finally, when Myungsoo heard the front door closed, and when he heard the silence in the house, he stormed right out of their bedroom and shoved Jiyeon against the wall.

“What the ?! Kim Myungsoo! It hurts!”

“Yeah? It hurts? Then how about me? I’m being locked in that room for 8 long hours! I almost went crazy!”

She felt bad, for the first time.

It was definitely her fault.

“I… I didn’t mean it too.”

Myungsoo froze up when he saw how Jiyeon bit her lips. *Oh God. What the hell is happening to me?*

He gulped hardly and blinked rapidly to get rid of that feeling but it was still there. Finally, he pulled away from her and stormed back to the bedroom.

“Don’t ever do it again! And you owe me one.”

Jiyeon walked towards the couch and cleared the mess up while cursing everything in the world. “This got to be the worst day of my life!”

Jiyeon woke up early the next day, and fixed herself up for school, since it was another new week.

Myungsoo, on the other hand, was still sleeping.

She took a piece of white bread, took her coat and finally walked out of the house, heading towards her school at once.

Myungsoo finally opened his eyes when his alarm rang, and his first response was to look on the bed. “She went off earlier again?!”

He ruffled his hair and groaned madly to himself, “Damn it!”

Nonetheless, he fixed himself too, got a piece of bread, and walked out of the apartment, heading to school after getting his coat too.

Both were in different schools, but their uniforms were similar.

Myungsoo met up with his friends, right outside the school gate, and once everybody was here, they finally walked into school together.

Well, buddies usually do that.

And among them, Myungsoo was titled as the icy cold city man by the rest of the population. His group of friends was actually loud and noisy, but he wasn’t like them, and everyone noticed that.

Myungsoo was someone who kept things to himself, and he was someone who won’t speak a lot.

But every student knew one thing about him.

His rival.

His rival wasn’t in the same school as him.

His rival wasn’t a guy too.

His rival was a girl, and she was in different school, and that rival, was his secret wife: Park Jiyeon.

They often compete with everything they could compete.

Even with sports, they would have a face off, just the both of them while every other student was their pieces of chess.

Jiyeon too, was being named as the icy cold city girl in her school.

She too, was the quiet and cold girl in her group of friends who were loud and noisy too.

And every student in her school knew about her rival too: Kim Myungsoo.

Both might not know, but they had so many things in common.

Well, it all began when they were in their last year of middle-school.

Myungsoo and Jiyeon were actually attending the same middle-school, but they were in different classes.

They got to know of each other’s existence when the school sent the both of them to a table tennis competition, since the both of them were the champions of the school.

They trained differently, but were in the same hall.

And once they saw each other’s skills, they can’t help but to compete with each other too.

That was how it all began.

Who knew fate would be playing with them?

Their parents were best buddies since young, and they made a pact to have the both of them married ever since they were born.

That explained the ring on their fingers since young, and they were told not to take it off at all times.

No matter how cold and bad tempered they were, they weren’t those types to rebel and argue with their parents, so they obeyed.

Just when they were in their last second year of high school, their parents got them married, secretly as they insisted.

That also explained why they lived together, in the same bedroom, but well, different ‘bed’.

Thank goodness, at least they were in different schools, or else all hell would break loose.

“Penny of your thoughts, Myungsoo?” Sungyeol raised a brow and nudged Myungsoo playfully, but the latter simply ignored him.

“Come on~ We’d been friends since we joined high school! Are you going to ignore me all the way~? Actually… I’ve never really heard your voice before.”

And soon, the rest of his friends agreed with Sungyeol.

Myungsoo eyed them and returned his attention to the pen on his fingers. But his thoughts were elsewhere. *It’s true… The only time I spoke was at home.*

Home. That named sound so warm and cozy to him.

But the thought of his wife pushed him back to reality again. *Nah~ With that weird loudspeaker, it’s not called a home. It’s called a karaoke room.*

Without knowing, he had a small smile on his face.

Jiyeon too, was being called back by her friends since she was caught daydreaming. “Are you alright, Jiyeon? You looked so tired and all.”

Jiyeon simply nodded her head and stared outside the window again.

Eunjung sighed and face the front once the teacher had walked in, “Seriously… Park Jiyeon, must you be this cold and quiet? I guess the first time I heard your voice was actually yesterday, back in your house.”

The other girls nodded their heads in agreement, but she simply ignored them too.
