“Hello! Hello everyone! This is Jiyeon! Nice to meet you! Please take care of me!” Jiyeon stepped into the meeting room while bowing politely.

She was always this polite.

“Eo! Here you are! Jiyeon-ah! Come over! This is your seat!”

Jiyeon beamed as she skipped over to the seat allocated to her, right beside the male lead.

“Ah right!” The director smiled as he saw how confused Jiyeon was, “The male lead will be Myungsoo. L from Infinite. You know him too, don’t you?”

Jiyeon tensed up slightly. “I do know him! But…”

“But?”

“I couldn’t talk to him before.”

“Why not?”

Jiyeon frowned sadly instead. “I don’t know… I can’t seem to approach him at all.”

“Take this chance to know him then!” The PD smiled, as he joined in the conversation. “There he comes!”

Jiyeon stood up at once and welcomed Myungsoo, who just walked into the room.

He said nothing but bowed.

Yes, he was always this cold.

That explained why she couldn’t approach him at all.

“Here! Myungsoo! Your seat is over here!”

Myungsoo walked over to the director while bowing too, and sat down on the seat right beside Jiyeon.

He met eyes with her right when he sat down, but she avoided his eyes at once.

She was nervous alright. Couldn’t blame her.

“Right! Now that our characters are here, we’ll go through the script!”

Jiyeon turned energetic again and flipped open the book in front of her immediately. “Let’s try out the first scene, shall we?”

Everyone agreed at once.

“Alright! Jiyeon will be playing Jinyul, a charming girl who owns a small café. You worked so hard just to open the café, so you would protect it with your life. And Myungsoo will be playing Kangjun, a cold CEO, who wants to buy the café.”

It was a comedic drama whereby Kangjun will be the mean and evil CEO, using funny ways to get Jinyul to sign the papers.

But due to a unforeseen situation, Kangjun was being saved by Jinyul when he was in his ‘home-self’ – which happened to be cute and adorable.

No, Kangjun doesn’t have a split personality.

He just doesn’t want his employees to see his real self so he portrayed himself as a mean and cold CEO during work.

And things happened, Jinyul asked Kangjun to help out in her café (in his read-self), and Kangjun got to know Jinyul better.

They fell in love.

But once Jinyul realized Kangjun was actually the CEO, she felt betrayed and never talked to him again, while Kangjun did all means to get her.

Happy ending, of course.

It was a fun drama.

Jiyeon loved it.

Myungsoo?

Well, he showed nobody his emotions so no one knew if he was fine with it or not.

They began testing the first scene out, and it turned out to be well, so the meeting ended like this after settling some issues about some scenes at the back.

“I’ll see you next week! Thank you! Thank you!” Once again, Jiyeon was being so polite as she left the meeting room.

Myungsoo bowed, again, but he said nothing before leaving.

After which, he met Jiyeon again at the entrance of the building.

It was raining, so Jiyeon was waiting for her manager to drive the van over, while Myungsoo was actually doing the same thing.

Jiyeon stood awkwardly by his side, not knowing what to do at all. It felt wrong not to speak, and yet, she doesn’t know what to say.

“Erm… Hi, Myungsoo-ssi!”

Myungsoo looked at her, before turning his head back to the front.

“We’ll be acting together!”

No response.

“We should know each other better, don’t you think so?”

No response again.

Jiyeon frowned with her pout out, “Myungsoo-ssi!”

That caught his attention. He turned to her only to find her priceless expression on. That made him laughed at once.

Jiyeon too, unknowingly, let out a smile on her face. “You… You’re laughing!”

“Your expression is priceless alright!”

“YOU! YOU SPOKE!” Jiyeon couldn’t stop being excited. It was the first time she heard his voice, and damn, it sounded so handsome.

“Of course I can speak. I’m a human too.”

“But you always looked so cold…”

“That’s because I don’t find the need to smile.”

“Psh.” Jiyeon scoffed and nudged his elbow lightly, “We have to be happy! Do you understand?! Just like you said, you’re a human too. And humans are always being stressed out. So in order to lead a happy life, we have to be smile!”

Myungsoo simply stared at her blankly.

“See! You’re not smiling again.” Jiyeon sighed before bringing her hand up to his face, stretching his lips side wards.

“JA! This looks much better on you!”

Myungsoo raised a brow as he stared at her. *Cute.* Yes, he just found her cute.

*HONK*

Jiyeon pulled her hands back and beamed widely when she saw her van down the stairs. “I’ll get going now, Myungsoo-ssi! See you next week!”

And she ran down the stairs under the rain.

Myungsoo smiled as he watched her skipping down the stairs, but only to gasp in horror when she slipped at the last step.

“YAH!”

Jiyeon stood up instead, even before he got to her side. “I’m fine! I always fell anyways! Bye, Myungsoo-ssi!”

Myungsoo let out a disbelieved smile instead, as he watched her climbed up the van. “BYE MYUNGSOO-SSI!”

The van drove off just like that.

Myungsoo let out a small sigh before letting out a sweet smile. “Such a cute girl.”

He was so thankful she was the female lead, and not other women who only wanted fame by using him.

Myungsoo shook his head to get rid of those bad thoughts of his ex-girlfriend again, and finally went off with his manager when his van arrived too.

The time just had to pass this fast.

It was the first day of filming. The characters and producers were being called over to the café which belonged to Jinyul.

“We’ll be filming outdoor scenes today, before returning to the studio to film, alright?”

“Yes!”

The producers got ready, while Jiyeon stood inside the counter with her bakery suit on.

“Okay, cue!”

Jinyul was happily attending to customers, skipping around the store to get the tables cleaned, and even helping out in the kitchen.

Yes, this was a successful take.

“Alright! Now, Kangjun will enter the scene!”

They got ready, before the director cued them again.

Myungsoo put on his ‘CEO’ form and entered the café with his secretary behind him, played by ZE:A’s Dongjun, once the director told them to enter.

He looked around the café, and smirked in satisfaction before walking to the cashier.

“Hi sir! What do you want to order? We have our famous Green Tea cake which is selling hot now! It’s different from other stores because it’s hand-made by our boss!” That was Jinyul’s friend, who was working in the café too.

“I want to see your boss.”

“Eh?”

“Where is your boss?”

The girl appeared to be taken aback, “I’ll get her for you!” And she ran off to the kitchen. “Okay! Good take!”

Myungsoo bowed politely again, showing his gratitude, while the director complimented him.

“Next scene, prepare! Jinyul coming out from the kitchen!”

Jiyeon prepared herself and walked out from the kitchen when the director cued her. “Yes? Sir, are you looking for me?”

“You’re the boss?”

“Yes, it’s me. Is there anything wrong?”

“No.”

“Then…”

Kangjun smirked as he stretched his hand out.

Awkward silence.

Kangjun rolled his eyes and snatched the brown envelope from his secretary, who seemed to finally get the picture.

Yes, it was meant to be like this. The secretary and CEO’s relationship were meant to be funny.

Kangjun then placed the envelope on the table. “I’m willing to buy over your café for 10 million won. It’s way better than the market price now. Consider it and I’ll be back tomorrow.”

With that, he left the envelope and a stunned Jinyul behind, and walked out rather suavely with his secretary.

“Okay! Good take!” The director was so pleased with their one-shot takes. “I like it! You both shouldn’t be idols! You should debut as actors and actresses! You’ll make it big!”

The idols could only humbly thank the director, before moving to the next scene.

The production continued till night time, and finally ended
