Hojun-Jiyeon, Myungsoo, Hyomin, Woohyun

Something like More and more ^^ Jiyeon is a girl who has a disease. Her ex, Myungsoo always takes care of her every time he has free time. He passed away in an accident which made Jiyeon devastated. Hyomin is Jiyeon's older sister. Their parents died in a plane crash. Woohyun, who is Jiyeon's personal doctor, is Hyomin's boyfriend. Hojun is Woohyun's best friend, who is interested in Jiyeon. They then make friends after Woohyun introduced him to her. Hojun was always there to take care of Jiyeon just like Myungsoo. She realises that she has this tingly feeling when she sees Hojun; love. Unfortunately, due to her disease, she only has about 4-5 months left to live.

“Jiyeon-ah, come on. Let’s go. It’s his monthsary today.”

Jiyeon bit her lips and cried even harder when she heard it. “Unnie… Myungsoo… He… He’s gone… He left me alone…”

“No, he didn’t.” Hyomin sighed as she patted her small back, “He just moved on. He went to a better place. You should be happy for him, right? Let’s go now, hmm? Or do you wish to stay here?”

“I want to go.”

“Okay. Let’s go, Ji.” Hyomin cooed as she helped her younger sister up from the ground by her bed side.

She brought her sister to Woohyun’s car, which was already outside their house, and they drove off to the building where Myungsoo was being placed at.

His family was there too, and they simply let Jiyeon to the front.

They knew, Jiyeon loved their son more than they ever did, and they were simply glad that Jiyeon was there to love him when he was alive.

Jiyeon pressed her fingers onto the clear glass, where his remains lay within it. Her tears came out again, and her legs finally gave in.

It was hard for her to carry on.

It was hard for her to carry on with her live, since her oxygen had been taken away.

Ever since she entered high school, Myungsoo had brought colors to her life and showered her with so much love. They were such a cute and happy couple.

Myungsoo attended to all her needs when she felt her illness worsened too.

It was just horrible when he was gone.

Myungsoo had his life taken away when he was only 24, which was one month ago. A huge accident in the Seoul station took his life away, and he was gone in an instant.

He was on his way to meet Jiyeon, who was already waiting at the place they agreed to meet.

Jiyeon was on the phone with him too, and all of the sudden, all she could heard was a loud crash, both from the phone, and from the station near where she was standing.

She had a bad feeling about it.

She ran.

She used all her energy and ran to Seoul station.

And Myungsoo was one of the many bodies found.

Jiyeon broke down.

She had been devastated up till date.

Hyomin and Woohyun were by her side, but she couldn’t continue her life when Myungsoo was gone. She just couldn’t.

Jiyeon went back to her room when Woohyun fetched both of the sisters back home. The couple sat in the living room and discussed about her situation, only to be shock by a sudden crash in her room.

They ran to her room, only to find Jiyeon on the bed, with blood flowing out from her wrist continuously.

It was a horrifying scene for Hyomin. Her sister was there, dying on the bed, and she couldn’t do a thing about it.

Woohyun carried her up at once, and they hurried to the hospital, where Woohyun worked at. Well, he was her doctor too. He knew very well about Jiyeon’s illness, and he knew very well Jiyeon would be in danger any time, if he doesn’t hurry.

They treated her wound quickly, and finally, she was out of danger.

Jiyeon was being sent to her private ward, which she usually stayed at while Hyomin stayed by her side the whole night with Woohyun accompanying her.

They were simply worried about her sister.

She was her only family member left, and she won’t let Jiyeon go that fast. If a day for Jiyeon to live was there, she would fight for it.

Woohyun jumped up from his nap when he got a phone call. His phone was vibrating against his chest, and he went to a corner to pick it up.

“Hello? Hojun-ah?”

“Eo!” Hojun chuckled, “Woohyun-ah~ Where are you now? Let’s get a drink! I’ve just end my work and I need some stress relief!”

“I can’t, Hojun-ah. I’m sorry.”

“You’re still at work?”

“No, it’s just…” Woohyun turned around and looked at the sleeping sisters. “I can’t really go now.”

“Are you with Hyomin?!”

“Yeah, and her sister.”

“Eo? Her sister?! She has a sister?”

“Yeah, a younger sister.”

“Where are you now?! Can I join?!” He sounded excited, only to let Woohyun sighed again. But he felt bad for leaving Hojun alone. He was his best friend nonetheless.

“I’m at the hospital now.”

“Hospital?”

“Come over if you want to then.” Woohyun mumbled, “Ward 3-4.”

“Okay. I’ll be over now!” Hojun sounded excited, but Woohyun let out another sigh as he hung the phone up.

He returned to the bed side and checked on Jiyeon again. She was alright, thank goodness.

In just half an hour, the door opened, and Woohyun spotted his friend by the door. “You’re here, Hojun-ah?”

The noise woke Hyomin up, and she greeted his friend too. “Hojun-ah, you came?”

“Eo…” Hojun walked towards the bed and looked at the pale figure. “She… is your sister?”

“Yeah. My younger sister.” Hyomin sighed and brushed Jiyeon’s hair out of her pale face.

“Why is she here? Is she sick?”

Hyomin bit her lips and Woohyun knew she was about to cry again. Therefore, he continued for her, “Jiyeon has leukemia. She has a rare blood, so we couldn’t find the blood that suits her. And she’s left with 4 months to live.”

Hojun widened his eyes in horror.

How could someone so young suffer such a fate?

“How old is she? She looks so young.”

“She’s 3 years younger than us.” Woohyun explained, “She was found diagnosed with leukemia 3 years ago.”

“She had it when she was 18?” Hojun was shocked, obviously. “That’s so young…”

“Yeah. And she was strong enough to live till now.”

“She’s strong.” Hojun scanned her body and found her bandaged wrist, “She did this to herself? Why? You said she’s strong.”

“She was strong.” Hyomin whispered, “After Myungsoo died a month ago, she became like this. She broke down, and finally tried to kill herself.”

“M-Myungsoo…?”

“That’s her boyfriend.” Woohyun explained again, “He passed away in that Seoul train accident last month. And Jiyeon blamed herself because he was on his way to meet her. If she didn’t agree to meet him out for a date that night, that wouldn’t happen. She always said that.”

“It’s not her fault…” Hojun mumbled as he stretched his hand out to cup her face, surprising his friends at once. “She’d suffered so much.”

Jiyeon stirred in her sleep and finally opened her tired eyes, “W-Where… am… I…?”

Hyomin rushed to her side and cupped her face as she cried, “Don’t do that again, Park Jiyeon. You hear me?! Don’t ever think of killing yourself again!”

Woohyun pulled her back since she was pushing Jiyeon about, and she finally calmed down in his arms.

Jiyeon too, was crying at the thought of it. “I’m sorry, unnie… I’m sorry… I just… I…”

It was a crying night for the sisters then.

Hojun finally made himself visible and smiled brightly at the patient, “Hello, Jiyeon-ah! I’m Hojun, your unnie and oppa’s friend! Call me oppa too! Hojun oppa~ Try it! Ho-Jun-Op-Pa.”

Jiyeon blinked at the guy in front of her before turning her head to her sister.

“Hojun-ah! She’s sick but she’s 21! She can speak well! She’s not a baby!”

Hojun giggled as he rubbed his nape sheepishly, “I’m sorry~ I didn’t thought of that~ But still… Jiyeon ah~ You can call me oppa!”

Jiyeon finally let out a small smile. “Ho-Jun-Op-Pa.”

“Yes!” Hojun giggled and sat on the chair, trying to engage with a conversation with her. Jiyeon found herself opening up to him, without realizing.

The couple by the side stared at them in disbelieved. All they could do was to sit by the side, trying to monitor their situation.

When Jiyeon fell asleep again, the couple dragged Hojun out and interrogated him at once. “Why are you hitting on my sister, Son Hojun?!”

“She’s cute!”

“But she’s sick and she has 4 months left. She’s not for you. She couldn’t forget Myungsoo.”

Hojun let out a sad smile and patted her shoulder lightly, “But I think I love her already.”

“Think? Love?”

“Hmm…” Hojun smiled sweetly at the thought of Jiyeon again, “She’s so cute and sweet. She attracted me so much.”

“Are you sure?”

“Yeah. 100% sure.”

“But she has Myungsoo in her heart.”

“It’s fine. I will just try to make her happy these few months. I’m satisfied with that.” Hojun smiled in confidence and returned to the ward.

The couple looked at each other and smiled at his words, “He will make Jiyeon happy, right?”

“Trust Hojun, babe. Hojun is a good guy.” They decided to leave the ward to the both of them, as they returned home to get Jiyeon’s belongings for her stay in the hospital.

Jiyeon woke up the next morning, only to find Hojun by her side, with his head on her arm. She brought her free hand over and poked his head lightly.

The sensitive guy jumped up at once, surprising the girl too.

“You’re awake?!” Hojun was happy. Too happy to be exact.

Jiyeon smiled and nodded her head slightly, “Hojun oppa.”

“Good girl.” Hojun laughed and her hair gently before leveling her bed up so she could eat. “It’s breakfast time! I know the food here , but let’s just eat this, hmm? It’s for your own good.”

Jiyeon looked at the plate of watery rice in front of her and frowned in displeasure, “Must I eat this?”

“Yeah! Why not we make a deal? Let’s get well now, and I will bring you out for something real yummy.”

“Promise?”

“I promise.” Hojun sat on the bed, right behind her, so he could feed her properly. “Ah~”

Jiyeon did as told and took the hospital food in, slowly, mouth after mouth as Hojun fed her. “Hojun oppa.”

“Yeah?”

“Did you stay here all night?”

“Of course! Your unnie and oppa went home to rest. I’m here for you, it’s alrig
