Pairing: Myungyeon, Daehyun

Plot: Jiyeon,Daehyun and Myungsoo were childhood friends.Jiyeon likes Myungsoo very much but eventually gets depressed when one day,Myungsoo confesses to another girl. (Tragedy)

“Jiyeon, you okay?” Daehyun was wrapped his arms around her, placing her back down on the bed gently. They just got back from the psychiatrist.

Seeing this weak friend of his, just broke his heart.

Jiyeon didn’t reply him and simply stared into blank air.

She saw the photo album by the bed desk and picked it up to place it on her laps. Opening it to the first page, she could see three kids happily smiling into the camera in a playground.

the little boy face on the photo, she let out a small giggle silently. “Where did he go?”

Daehyun tried to take the book away but she didn’t let him. “Don’t touch it!”

“Fine fine. I won’t touch it.” Daehyun sighed and pulled away, not touching the album again. “But you have to rest.”

Jiyeon shook her head and hugged the photo book tighter, “I want to see him a little longer.”

And she returned to the photo again.

Daehyun closed his eyes and sighed deeply, “I swear I’ll kill him if he ever showed up in front of me.”

“Myungie!” Jiyeon, who was only 6 years old, skipped towards the playground and waved enthusiastically at the little boy in front of her, with another boy following her closely behind.

“Jiyeonie!” Myungsoo stopped what he was playing and stood up to wave back equally enthusiastically.

“We’re here!” Jiyeon pulled the boy behind her closer and squatted down beside Myungsoo.

“Hello hyung!” Daehyun, who was same age as Jiyeon, greeted Myungsoo with a huge grin as well.

These three were neighbors, and they got along super well. They grew up together since their mothers were friends.

The sun soon set and their mothers came out to call them back home for dinner.

“Myungsoo-ah! Come back home now and bring your dongsaengs along!” His mother shouted from afar but it went to his ears clearly.

Myungsoo shouted back a ‘yes’ and called his two dongsaengs to follow him back home.

They often played together in the playground, and because of this they’re called ‘the three inseparable kids’ around the neighborhood.

You ask anyone about the three inseparable kids, they will name you the three of them.

Jiyeon flipped the photo book to the next few pages and saw a bigger version of them, in front of their school. “Look, it’s us, when we’re 15.”

Daehyun smiled at her words and sat down on the bed beside her, “we looked so young.”

“We still are!”

“Now, shall we rest? You’ve seen enough.” Daehyun giggled at her childish reply but thought that it’s enough for her.

“No! I want to see him longer!” Jiyeon frowned and turned around, facing him with her back.

Daehyun sighed for the umpteen times that night and sat down beside her, “fine. Let me see with you, okay?”

Jiyeon shared the album at once.

“Myungie!” Jiyeon shouted when she ran into his classroom. They’re in different classroom of course, Myungsoo’s older.

Daehyun was running behind her, as always.

Myungsoo greeted her as usual with a huge grin and patted her head lovingly, “Jiyeonie. Daehyun is here too.”

“Hyung.” Daehyun smiled and acknowledged his presence.

“Let’s go home together, Myungie! Daehyun said we could get ice-cream today!” Myungsoo raised a brow and looked at Daehyun, “why did you lie to her?”

Daehyun bit his lips and shrugged, he knew the older boy’s joking.

But Jiyeon doesn’t know that. She gasped loudly and grabbed his shoulders, “We are not going to?! Why!!!”

Myungsoo laughed loudly at her reaction with Daehyun following him but that made Jiyeon confused.

She soon got the idea that they’re joking with her and smacked their arms playfully, “YOU IDIOTS!”

“But you’re so funny to tease!” Myungsoo laughed even harder and gripped onto his own tummy.

Jiyeon puffed her cheeks out and glared at the two boys, “YOU GUYS ARE TREATING ME!” She pouted madly and stormed out of the classroom with the two laughing boys following her.

“It’s so funny.” Daehyun finally stopped laughing and wiped his tears away. “It is.” Myungsoo too, stopped laughing and placed his arms around her shoulders playfully.

Jiyeon glared at the two guys playfully for only a few seconds. She couldn’t help but to laugh with them as well.

“Let’s take a photo together!” Jiyeon chirped happily when they reached the gates and took a photo with the school as the background.

“ICE-CREAM!!!!!!” She ran off towards the ice-cream store after taking the photo with the two boys running behind her happily.

Jiyeon flipped to the next page of the album and to the next again. She finally stopped and stared at the handsome boy in the graduation robe.

“He graduated happily.” Daehyun smiled and looked at the photo where the three of them were smiling happily into the camera.

“Come on, let’s take a photo together, it’s the last photo in this school!” Jiyeon whined and dragged the two boys towards the front of the school but they didn’t move.

“We took a lot already!” Daehyun whined back shook his arms out of her grip.

“Yeah, we took a lot already, Jiyeonie.” Myungsoo agreed with him and fixed his robe since it’s out of shape due to her pulls.

“But it’s not enough! Last one pleaseeeeee~~~?!” Jiyeon whined and pulled out her weapon: PUPPY EYES!

“Don’t show me that, Jiyeonie.” Myungsoo groaned and turned around, trying to avoid her eyes.

But Jiyeon moved to his front and shook his arms, “please please please~~~?”

Myungsoo sighed and looked at Daehyun, “shall we?”

Daehyun sighed too, and shrugged his shoulders, “let’s tame this kid, shall we?”

Myungsoo smirked and took the camera and gave it to his mom, “Help us, omma!”

His mom took their photos happily and showed them once she took it, “you three looked so cute.”

“Of course we are~” Jiyeon laughed and hugged Myungsoo tightly, “Congratulations Myungie! You’ve graduated!”

“Yeah. We were so happy together.” Jiyeon bit her lips while looking at the photo. “But not anymore.”

That was the last photo they took together since Myungsoo graduated. That was the last page of the photo album.

He picked up different course since he had different interest and they soon drifted away from each other.

And that was when everything crumpled down.

They still met up sometimes since they’re neighbors, but their topics were all over the place. It’s not that pure any longer.

And soon after, they seldom meet up at all. They only greeted a ‘hi’ if they saw each other in the morning, or ‘bye’ when they saw each other at night.

“I’m taking up music.” Myungsoo announced with a wide grin. They settled down in a café for a chill night out.

“Serious?” Jiyeon pouted and looked at him, “I thought you wanted to take arts. I wanted to take arts though.”

Daehyun raised a brow and looked at him, “I thought so too. So we’re separating?”

Myungsoo giggled and patted her head, “We can still meet up sometimes~”

Jiyeon sighed and nodded her head in defeat, “I guess.”

“Take care of this kid, Daehyun-ah.”

“Of course, hyung.”

And that was the last night they chilled out so calm and peaceful.

“Want to sleep now? Go to sleep, okay? It’s late already.” Daehyun took the album away from her and forced her down to lie on the bed.
