Pairing: Jiyeon &Dongwoo

Plot: Dongwoo is a nice guy, who is smart and silly. Jiyeon however is a very rich girl who is a brat and everyone hates her because she gets what she wants with her money. She fails her classes, so the principal demands Dongwoo to be her tutor. But Dongwoo’s two faced girlfriend, who he thinks is an angel, doesn’t like Jiyeon. She is Suzy. Suzy bothers Jiyeon, but Jiyeon won’t back down and fight back. Dongwoo starts to hate Jiyeon more and more, but he does not know that Jiyeon had a heart disease since young, and had no parents. She was a nice kid, but ever since her parents died, she acted mean so that people wouldn’t experience the pain of loss if she herself died of heart disease. But when Dongwoo finally gets mad at Jiyeon and makes a fuss about how she should not have been born, Jiyeon becomes heartbroken. For the next few days, Jiyeon became silent and suddenly disappears. Dongwoo later finds out that Jiyeon is in the hospital because of her disease and feels regret. He also finds out how much of a two face Suzy really is....

“Dongwoo! Help me with this math question, please?”

Dongwoo smiled sheepishly at his classmate before looking at the question on her book, “Oh! This is easy! I’m sure you will get it in no time.”

He solved the question and taught her along the way, and she simply pretended to not understand it so Dongwoo could repeat it again.

“Alright. I’ll repeat it again so listen carefully now, okay?”

The girl smiled and nodded her head rapidly, trying to act cute to him, but he simply didn’t look at her.

“So this goes like this…” He explained again but the girl was pouting when he ended.

“Dongwoo, I still can’t understand it…”

All of a sudden, she felt a hard pull on the back of her collar and she felt her body being pulled back harshly, which caused her to fell onto the ground.

She stood up and turned around abruptly, only to find Suzy smiling at her, but she was sending her dangerous glares, “I’m sorry but you’re taking me seat.”

A cold chilly wind ran down the spine of the girl, and she scurried off at once.

Suzy had the most innocent expression on, but when girls saw right into her eyes, they could see she was not that innocent.

She was just acting all innocent in front of Dongwoo, since she somehow became his girlfriend.

The students never dared to tell the silly and innocent Dongwoo about it, since they were afraid of the venom glares and after-effects from Suzy.

Once, a girl stormed up to him, with Suzy beside him, and tried telling Dongwoo about how two-faced Suzy was.

But even before she could speak up, Suzy excused herself elegantly from Dongwoo, and dragged the girl away, in a friendly manner.

However, right when they disappeared away from Dongwoo’s sight, Suzy slammed the girl against the wall and glared at her, spilling all curse words and nonsense to her.

She even gave a warning to the girl.

The poor girl, who was being traumatized, transferred to other school nearby.

From then on, words were spread around the girls, and they never dared to attempt to tell the truth to Dongwoo again.

All they would do was to flirt with him from time to time, behind Suzy’s back.

Of course, the silly boy doesn’t even realize they were flirting with him. He thought they were really in need of help with their work.

“Oh, Suzy! You’re here! Good morning~”

Suzy gave him her innocent smile and lowered her head shyly, “Good morning, oppa~”

Dongwoo placed an arm around her shoulder and pulled her close, “How’s your weekend, honey?”

“As usual. Boring without you.”

Dongwoo laughed in glee and hugged her tight, squeezing her in his arms. “You’re so cute, honey! I knew you were this sweet so I called you honey~”

“Thank you, oppa~”

They shared a good laugh before hearing a scoff in front of them.

They tilted their head up at the same time, but with different expression on. Dongwoo raised a brow and stared at the girl but Suzy was glaring at her.

“Yes? Why are you scoffing, Jiyeon?”

Jiyeon rolled her eyes and placed her bag on her table, which was unluckily right in front of them, and sat down on her chair while flipping her hair to the back, ignoring him.

“Jiyeon! Dongwoo oppa is talking to you!” Suzy poked her shoulder, trying to act innocent, only to receive a glare from her instead.

“You guys are the same age. Stop making me puke, Bae Suzy.”

Suzy rolled her eyes when Dongwoo had his face turned to the other side, and returned to a pouty expression when he turned back.

“Let’s not mind her. She’s annoying.” Dongwoo smiled and waved Jiyeon away, and Suzy smiled happily at his words.

“Attention students. Jang Dongwoo from class 3A, please proceeds to the principal office now.”

Dongwoo frowned as he finished hearing the announcement.

“Oppa! Why did the principal call for you?”

Dongwoo shrugged his shoulders but he had a grin on his face, “I’ll get going first. See you later, hmm?”

Suzy waved brightly and sent him off.

And right when Dongwoo was out of the classroom, far away from her sight, Suzy kicked the chair right in front of her.

“YAH!”

Jiyeon sighed and rolled her eyes again. She knew this would happen as usual, and she ignored it, as usual.

“YAH! LOOK AT ME!” Suzy kicked her chair again and she finally turned around after receiving 3 more kicks from her, “WHAT?”

“Why are you scoffing at us? And why are you arguing with me?!”

“Because that’s the fact. You guys deserved a scoff and you simply aren’t younger than him. Face it, old witch.”

Suzy grew red and slammed her hands on the table as she stood up in anger, her chair were even knocked down by her strong move. “SAY IT AGAIN IF YOU DARE!”

Jiyeon stood up, quieter and calmer than her, and crossed her arms as she turned her body around. “What do you want to hear exactly? A scoff is deserved? Or you’re older than him? Oh! I know, or the face that you’re an old witch?”

Suzy screamed in anger and slapped her hard, which caused Jiyeon to widen her eyes in surprise. “YAH!”

Even their classmates were staring at them in disbelieved.

Suzy smirked in victory as she witnessed how she cupped her pained cheek with her palms, “Why? You deserved the hit, so why not? I shall be the one to do it.”

Jiyeon was about to argue but Suzy fell onto the ground, all of the sudden, without any trips, and she pretended to groan in pain as she held onto her ankle.

“SUZY!” Dongwoo rushed to her side and Jiyeon rolled her eyes again, this time at her actions and drama.

Dongwoo held her ankle and frowned sadly, “What happened to you, Suzy?”

Suzy sobbed sadly and lowered her head. “It’s nothing, oppa.”

“Come on, tell me!”

“I tripped...”

“You know you can’t lie well, Suzy. What’s going on?” Dongwoo demanded and glared at Jiyeon, “She did this right? Did Jiyeon pushed you?!”

Suzy pretended to be surprise and helped Jiyeon, “No, oppa! She didn’t do it on purpose! I didn’t see where I was going and I tripped!”

“You don’t have to lie, Suzy. I know her. She’s just a brat and she always look down on people like us. She’s a rich kid and her eyes were always on the money she has.”

Jiyeon was dumbfounded. Even their classmates too. They knew what happened, but they had no courage to tell the truth to Dongwoo since Suzy was the queen in school.

His words did hurt her, but she kept a strong image on. “So what if I did that?” She even did a smirk. “She deserves it.”

“PARK JIYEON!” Dongwoo stood up and towered her, yet she showed no signs of fear.

“Park Jiyeon from Class 3A, please proceeds to the principal office now.”

Jiyeon sighed inwardly and quickly got out of the classroom. She couldn’t handle it any longer. Her heart was hurting her, but she couldn’t run off abruptly.

Where would she put her face then?

And so, she tried her best to steady her heart as she argued with the couple, and thanks to the announcement from the principal, she was saved.

Jiyeon leaned against the wall when she left the classroom, and panted badly as she held onto her chest. “This will be fine. I will be okay.”

She would whisper soothing words to herself, since her parents used to do that to her.

That’s right. They used to.

Her parents were gone, and she was left all alone in this harsh reality, leaving her only with their heavy inheritance.

Jiyeon felt her heart calmed, and she finally walked towards the principal office.

“Jiyeon-ah.”

Jiyeon walked towards the principal’s chair and stared at him blankly. “Yes, uncle?”

“Jiyeon-ah. I’ve called Dongwoo in just now for a reason, and it’s regarding you.” Her uncle, also the principal, sighed sadly. He doted on Jiyeon a lot, and she was his favourite niece.

“Me?”

“Yes. You know your grades aren’t good, right? I’ve asked him to tutor you and he agreed. Please, Jiyeon. Listen to him and pull your grades up, alright?”

“No.” Her answer was straight and short, of course.

“Please? Your heart isn’t good too. Just study well with Dongwoo’s lead and graduate, hmm?”

“No.”

“Your parents told me to take care of you before they ended their last breath, Jiyeon. The least I could do is let you graduate from school. Jiyeon, please treat this as your parent’s last request?”

Jiyeon frowned as she remembered her parents.

The last thing she wanted to do was to fail them.

“Alright.” Jiyeon snapped, “When and where will the tuition be at?”

“You can just ask Dongwoo. I gave him the schedules, and as for the venue, just settle it with him, alright?”

Jiyeon nodded her head and walked out, not even bothering to say goodbye.

Her uncle sighed sadly before picking his family’s photo out from the drawer, “Hyung, I’ve tried my best. I hope Jiyeon would open up at least to someone. I can see Dongwoo is friendly and kind. Let’s hope he can open her, hmm? You should bless her too, hyung. And you too, sister-in-law.”

Jiyeon headed back to her class and walked in after giving a bow to her teacher, who was already teaching.

“Just go to your seat, Jiyeon.” The teacher smiled, but Jiyeon ignored her and walked back to her seat. Of course, none of the teachers blamed her for a cold attitude.

They too, knew she had a heart disease since young, and they pitied her when her parents passed away from an accident years ago.

Jiyeon walked down the aisle, to her seat, but she could definitely hear students murmuring about her again.

Of course, they were still talking about how she bribed the principal so she could actually move up the levels even though she had low grades. They didn’t even know the principal was her uncle since she wanted it to be a secret.

In their eyes, Jiyeon was the rich brat who would only use money to solve everything.

She would rather be that girl in their eyes, rather than being accused of using family rights and power to graduate from school.

She sat back down on her seat, ignoring the others, and started to zone out again. That was her hobby in class. She couldn’t concentrate for more than a minute, so the only thing she could do was to zone out, or sometimes, sleep.

The lesson went on as usual, since the teachers allowed her to do whatever she wanted to, and Jiyeon was finally packing her things up.

However, a shadow towered her. She looked up only to find Dongwoo glaring at her. “Come with me to the library now. You need to study. Although you aren’t good, I promised the principal to tutor you and I will. Come on.”

Jiyeon sighed and picked her bag before following him to the library without any arguments. She too, gave her words to her uncle.

“Sit and I’ll get the books.”

Jiyeon sat on the empty table and waited for him patiently.

Well, at least she had patience in her.

Indeed, Dongwoo returned with various books in his hands and placed them on the table swiftly, “We’ll get on with English today.”

“Fine.”

Dongwoo sat opposite of her and opened the first book up. It was simply book of grammar. Dongwoo read through the chapter and started teaching her.

“So, ‘is’ will be singular and ‘are’ is plural, do you get this?”

Jiyeon rolled her eyes and scoffed in disbelieved, “This is the basic, Mr. Jang.”

“I thought you wouldn’t know this too.” Dongwoo shrugged his shoulders and continued, from the basics, ignoring how she was groaning.

“Got everything I just said?”

“Yes.”

“Then do this section.” Jiyeon took the book over and completed it in just 5 minutes. Dongwoo raised a brow as he took the book over in suspicion, but only to realize she got all right.

“Like I said. This is simple, Mr. Jang.”

Dongwoo nodded his head in approval, “Good. Let’s move on to the next section.” He continued, but Jiyeon was suddenly curious about one thing and she began to answer his questions with her questions instead.

“There is past participle, past simple, and past perfect tense. Do you get this part?”

“How did you get rid of Suzy? I thought she is your glue?”

“Park Jiyeon, do you get that part?”

“Jang Dongwoo, how did you get rid of your glue?”

Dongwoo grew furious and finally answered her first, “She’s not my glue. She’s my girlf
