T-ara finished their ‘Number Nine’ last stage on Inkigayo, and was heading back to their waiting room.

Along the way, they met Infinite who was heading to the stage for their performance.

Jiyeon bowed at the guys, as they bowed in return. “Fighting! Fighting!”

Jiyeon met eyes with the nearest member, and she couldn’t take her eyes of him. She was stunned. He was simply perfect.

“Eo… Eo… Fighting, Myungsoo-ssi!”

Myungsoo smiled his elegant smile and pumped his fist too, “Fighting, Jiyeon-ssi.”

Never would she imagine Myungsoo was blushing too. His heart was accelerating when he met eyes with her.

That was their first meet, not literally, but it was their first time greeting each other so closely.

After T-ara’s bullying case, they went to Japan for promotions, not staying in Korea. During the Love Share Concert, they simply stayed with their own members, and during Idols Olympics too, they stayed with their own members.

That day, was the first day they officially talked to each other, and met eyes.

And they fell deep into the trap called love.

After that day, it was difficult for them to see each other since T-ara ended their promotions for Number Nine, and Infinite was just on the show for a special stage. Even when T-ara returned with ‘Do You Know Me’, they wouldn’t see Infinite too, because the latter wasn’t even returning with any new songs.

Jiyeon had enough.

She wanted to meet him again.

She wanted to see his smile, and see the tender and care in his eyes.

“Unnie~” Jiyeon whined and rolled on the couch sadly, “I’m so sadddddd~”

“Why?” Qri sat down by her legs and slapped her playfully, “What’s wrong?!”

Jiyeon rubbed her with a pout and looked at Qri, “It hurts, unnie!”

They laughed at her childish behavior before crowding around her, “Tell us what’s wrong then. Why are you sad?”

“I haven’t seen him for almost a month!”

“Him? Who?” Soyeon blinked and sat down on the floor, by her legs too. “You have someone you like?! Why didn’t you tell us?!”

Jiyeon sat up on the couch so the rest could sit too, “Just… someone…”

“Who’s that?!”

“Someone…”

“Come on. We can help you too!”

Jiyeon blushed and played with her fingers shyly, “Myung…soo…”

“Myungsoo?! Which Myungsoo?! There’s so many Myungsoo around!” Boram blinked and rubbed her nape in confusion.

The girls sighed and slapped her arm playfully, “Infinite’s Myungsoo, of course! The closest Myungsoo we knew must be him, right maknae?!”

They saw how Jiyeon’s cheeks turned red, and they knew they were right. “So it’s him huh~?”

Jiyeon shoved Hyomin away when she leaned in, teasing her, “Yes, so what?! I miss him already. What should I do?”

“Contact him, of course! Who said girls can’t take the first step?!” Eunjung suggested, which made Jiyeon blushed deeply again.

“Of course! I’ll get his contact number for you.” Hyomin winked and punched something into her phone.

“Who are you texting, unnie?”

“Woohyunie~”

“Yup.”

“You know him?!”

“Remember the drama we used to act together? We got to know through that drama.” Hyomin blushed, and the girls definitely saw it.

“Awww~ Unnie likes Woohyun!”

“No! Who said that?!”

The girls started teasing her but a message came. “Okay! Stop! Now it’s Jiyeon time, okay?!” She pressed into her inbox and there it was, Woohyun’s reply.

She shared it with the girls after reading it, “Here you go, Jiyeonnie~ Your love’s number!”

Jiyeon giggled and took the number down into her own contacts, “Thank you, unnie~ You’re the best!”

“Thank me when you got together with Myungsoo.”

Jiyeon giggled hugged her phone tightly, “What should I tell him? Hmm? Should I ask him out? Or should I just text him and chat here? What should I do?! Unnie!!!!”

Soyeon sighed and took her phone over, punched a message and pressed send before handling it back to Jiyeon. “Done.”

Jiyeon widened her eyes and clicked into her sent messages, “Hello, Myungsoo oppa! I can call you that right? ^-^ It’s Jiyeon from T-ara! Hmm, I got your number somehow, I hope you don’t mind. If you like, do you want to meet out sometime?”

“UNNIE!!!!!!!!!”

The girls snatched her phone over and read it, only to laugh like a hyena afterwards. “Soyeon, you’re the best!” Boram clapped her hands and patted Soyeon’s back.

Jiyeon jumped in surprise when she received a message at once. “OH MY GOD! UNNIE! HOW?! WHAT DO I DO?! HELP ME SEE THAT!”

Hyomin giggled and took the phone over quickly. “KYAAAAAA!!!!!!!!”

The girls crowded around her at once, “OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!”

“What?! What’s wrong?! Did he say no? He doesn’t want to meet me? Oh god, it’s so embarrassing! Damn it! Unnie~ Where do I put my face now?!”

Qri shook her which made her stopped her blabbering, “Yah! He agreed to meet!”

“I knew it! He doesn’t want to meet, he said- WHAT?!” Jiyeon widened her eyes and took her phone over, “OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!”

“Hi Jiyeon! Of course you can call me oppa! ^^ I can drop the formality too right? I’ll be glad to meet this beautiful girl anytime! Where do you want to meet? How about tonight 10PM at the mall? Let’s catch a movie? I know a nice action movie!”

“KYAAAAAA!!!!!!” Jiyeon lay back down on the couch and rolled like a happy girl. “OH MY GOD!”

“What are you waiting for?! It’s 8.50 now!” Eunjung pulled her up and pushed her back to her room, helping her to dress up. “Oh! Help her reply the message too!”

Jiyeon was right outside the mall at 10PM.

She was on time.

She doesn’t want to be late on their first date.

Date?

Yes, she wanted to believe it’s a date.

“Hey.” She felt a tap on her shoulder and turned around at once.

There he was.

Her prince charming. “Hey…”

“You’re early.” Myungsoo rubbed his nape and smiled shyly, “I’m late, sorry about it.”

“It’s okay!” Jiyeon waved her hands and giggled shyly, “Erm… I just got here too.”

“I see…” It turned awkward for them, and Myungsoo turned into a gentleman at once, “Shall we go up now? Let’s get the tickets now! I know there’s one show at 1020.”

Jiyeon smiled and followed him up, as they started chatting about everything.

They had a few thoughts same, yet some different. But it’s fine, it makes them perfect. Myungsoo suggested getting the tickets and so Jiyeon got the popcorns.

He finished purchasing the tickets and turned to her, only to find her struggling with the snacks. She had a box of popcorn and a huge cup of drink in her hands, while she had to hold onto her purse.

Myungsoo laughed at the cute sight and ran up to her at once, trying to help her, but he didn’t know which to get since she held onto the food tightly.

So in the end, he took her purse over. “Let’s go in now?”

Jiyeon smiled and followed him into the movie theatre, “I hope the show is nice!”

“I heard from my members, they said it’s nice.”

“They watched it without you?! That’s mean!” Jiyeon frowned and stuffed a huge mouthful of popcorn into , and one small piece got stuck on her lips.

Myungsoo giggled and took it down, making her blushed madly, once again. “They watched it online. But I wanted to watch it on screen and I finally found a partner to watch with. That’s all.”

“Ahhh~” Jiyeon giggled and played with the popcorn’s box, “Do you want to eat?”

Myungsoo smiled and took it over willingly. In the end, the box ended up in the middle as the show went on.

Of course, as cliché as ever, their hands met in the box while their eyes were on the screen.

Jiyeon took it back at once, lowering her head in embarrassment, while Myungsoo took his popcorn and took it back quickly. “I’m sorry.”

“It’s okay…”

They looked at each other, and let out a cute giggle together. They even shared the drink too.

The movie finally ended and Jiyeon was indeed awed at the action scenes. “Wow~ Oppa! I didn’t know you like this kind of shows! Me too! It’s so nice! How they fight and even used the guns! Daebak!”

Myungsoo laughed in joy when he noticed how she even acted it out with those fighting postures. “I like action scenes. You like them too?”

“Of course! It’s so cool and exciting!!” Jiyeon clapped her hands happily and looked at him, “So where shall we go now?”

“Hmm… I think all the stores would be close by now. How about… let’s go to the café to enjoy a coffee?”
