Plot: Jiyeon was forced to go to a summer camping by her parents with her best friend, IU. At there, she met Myungsoo the guy who is in the same school as her. Then the story starts ^^

“Alright class, this holiday, we will be going to Jeju Island for the summer camp!”

The class cheered happily with the new announcement from the homeroom teacher.

It’s the last week of school and it’s finally summer holidays!

“Now class, listen to me! It’s optional to go. This summer camp is only a few days for students to gather around and have fun. We will have activities and campfire too. Since it’s the last year of your high school, this will be the last chance to gather around with your classmates and friends so please consider wisely. Discuss with your parents and tell me your answers by tomorrow, alright?”

“YES~~~~~~~~~”

The obedient students hollered back and began to murmur among themselves. Everyone decided to join since they wouldn’t miss a chance to get away from the busy city. Moreover, it’s a holiday with friends to the famous Jeju Island!

“JIYEONIE~”

Jiyeon shook her head when she heard that cute voice. It’s her best friend’s. She would put on her cute voice when she needed something from Jiyeon.

“No way am I going. It’s boring.”

“But it’s the last camping together! We can sleep on a bed and talk whole night and walk around Jeju with other friends! Come on~~~~~~”

Jiyeon shook her head once again, determined with her decision. “You know I hate such things, Jieunie. We can always talk and sleep at my house or your house! It’s the same!”

Jieun pouted and shook her arms, “It’s not the same~~~~~~~~ Please~~~~~”

“Nope! Final!”

Jieun crossed her arms and pouted sadly, “I will make you go!”

Jiyeon simply shrugged her arms, as if it’s nothing, and began packing up her stuffs to go home.

Jieun followed suit quickly and followed her.

Well, it’s the same way anyways, since they’re neighbors.

But she has other motives that particular day. She needed to make a little trip to her house.

“Mommy Park, Daddy Park!” Jieun squealed and hugged them tightly.

Other than Jiyeon, they treated her just like their daughter since they’re really close.

Likewise to Jieun’s parents, they treated Jiyeon like their own daughter too.

To say the truth, Jiyeon’s parents treated Jieun like their daughter more than Jiyeon herself.

Of course, Jieun’s parents too. It’s funny how both parents treated others’ daughter better than their own child.

“Aigoooooo~ It’s pretty Jieunie~” Mrs. Park cooed and hugged her tightly.

“Omma, for your information, I’m your real daughter.” Jiyeon sulked when she saw her parents’ reactions. It’s like she didn’t exist in front of them.

However, her worries were gone when she saw who came out from the kitchen.

“MOMMY LEE, DADDY LEE!” She squealed and rushed over to hug them tightly.

This time round, it’s Jieun to sulk. “Omma, appa! Your real daughter is here!”

Jiyeon showed Jieun her tongue and hugged her parents tightly, “they love me more than all of you here!”

The adults laughed at their childish behavior and pushed them towards the dining table, “let’s eat now! It’s getting cold~”

The two best friends sat down on the dining area and their eyes sparkled at once when they saw the delicious dishes on the table.

“I’LL EAT WELL!” Both of them screamed and dug in, completely forget about earlier.

The adults could only laugh at them. Just by looking at them, eating happily, they were happy too.

“Oh right, Mommy Park! Daddy Park!”

“Hmmm?” Mr. Park took an apple from the plate and placed it into his mouth before turning his head towards Jieun.

“Please ask Jiyeonie to join the summer camp with me! I don’t want to go alone!”

“Summer camp?”

“That’s right! It’s summer holidays right? The school’s organizing camp for us! It’ll be in Jeju Island! It’s such a nice and great opportunity to go for a holiday before we start a new semester, isn’t it?! But Jiyeonie doesn’t want to go!”

Jiyeon’s parents crossed their arms and looked at the said person.

“What? Omma~~~ Appa~~~~~ you know I don’t like to go such events!” Jiyeon cried and whined on the spot but that’s not going to work since Jieun is there.

“Daddy Park~~~ Mommy Park~~~~ please ask her to join me~” She took out her puppy eyes and that won everything else.

“Jiyeon’s going and that’s final. Tell your teacher that.”

“ASSA!” Jieun cheered loudly but Jiyeon was sulking badly, “Mommy Lee, Daddy Lee~~~ Help me!!!”

Jieun’s parents bit their lips guiltily and patted her head, “you know your parents, darling. Their words are final.”

Jiyeon pouted and sulked at her spot, “so unfair!”

Jieun grinned widely and hugged her tightly, “You’ve got me! It won’t be boring, promise!”

“Class, listen to me!”

The class became silent when they heard their homeroom teacher speaking.

“Good. As you all know, we will be setting off in 15 minutes time. We can’t be late since we need to check in! Prepare everything you brought and don’t leave anything behind, okay? We won’t be coming back for it if you do so!”

“YES~~~~”

“Oh yeah, and one more thing. We will be sharing the bus with the classmates next door. So be friendly, alright?”

“YESSSSS~~~~~~”

“Rest well now. I’ll be back and we can go.”

The students became talking among themselves, expressing how they were excited for this trip but not for one particular person.

“Stop sulking now, Jiyeonie~ I promise it will be fun!” Jieun cooed and double checked their things. Jiyeon gave a weak smiled and looked down again, “you’re lucky you’re my best friend.”

Jieun heard that clearly and hugged her tightly while giggling, “I know. I love you, best friend~~~!”

Jiyeon smiled a genuine one when she heard that. She can’t help but give into her parents and her best friend. In the end, they always won over her.

“Get on the bus now! We can’t be late!” The homeroom teacher came back a few minutes later and urged the students to leave at once.

Jiyeon and Jieun took their bags and walked over to their assigned bus, joining the queue.

Jieun walked up first and found a two-seater seat.

Jiyeon was about to follow suit but another guy walked up with her, at the same time, causing the both of them to crush.

Jiyeon stumbled back alongside with the guy.

She snapped her head towards that direction and glared at the sudden appearance of some unknown student. “YAH!”

Clearly, that person couldn’t hear her since he’s wearing an earpiece. He glared back and gave a poker-face before stepping up onto the bus.

But when he took the second step up, Jiyeon yanked his bag and pulled him down which made him stumbled back. He took down his earpiece and pushed her hands away, “YAH!”

Jiyeon took a glance at his nametag before looking back right into his eyes, “Kim Myungsoo-ssi, shouldn’t you say sorry when you bump into someone? I was clearly going up but you cut my queue and bumped into me on purpose!”

Myungsoo scoffed and took a step forward and towered over her. Well, that scared her a little but she kept her firm, “what?!”

“I do what I want,” he took a look at her nametag and continued, “Park Jiyeon.” He snapped before going up the bus.

Jiyeon became speechless and scoffed at his back-view, “HOW CAN SOMEONE BE SO NOT GENTLEMAN!? ARGHHHHH!!!!!”

She ruffled her hair and went up the bus as well, since it’s getting late. She saw her best friend and joined her immediately.

“What took you so long?”

“Some bugs just got onto me.” She huffed and glared at Myungsoo who was sitting on the same row as her. He was clearly in his own music world with his eyes closed and that made Jiyeon mad. She pretended to punch him literally and finally calmed down.

“He’s the bug?” Jieun giggled and nudged her elbow playfully, “He’s Myungsoo from the class next door. He’s said to be cold and distant. No one befriended him before since he’s not approachable. No one tried to approach him anyway. He’s always been alone ever since year one in school. That’s all.”

Jiyeon looked at her best friend with widely opened, “how did you know so much?”

Jieun simply winked and offered her a biscuit, “I’m the student encyclopedia, my dear~”

That made Jiyeon speechless. She took the biscuit and munched onto it quietly.

Sometimes she would take a glance over to the lonely guy on her right. And it would take quite a long time before she tore her eyes away from his face.

*Is he really a loner? He looked cold and distant, true. But when he closed his eyes, he looked so peaceful and handsome. No wait… He’s so not gentleman, Park Jiyeon! Remember what he did just now?! He’s not handsome at all! Not at all!*

She giggled to herself and munched onto the third packet of biscuit.

Jieun saw it immediately and giggled to herself. *Someone’s in love huh~*

Finally, they reached the airport in no time.

Their homeroom teacher checked them in and soon, they flew over to Jeju Island which only took them only at most 2 hours.

“Right. This is the hostel we will stay in! It’s near to the beach but please inform me when you go and enjoy okay? I will be worried if I can’t find you guys!”

“YES~~~~~”

“My good students are always the best.” The teacher can’t help but grinned widely at her favorite class, “Right. I’ll split the rooms now! Gather around, kids!”
