Another version of Chapter 212. Now without tragedy. :) Hyomin in this story is still Jiyeon's sister but the other characters can be changed. Still Hojun-Jiyeon though. Make Jiyeon injured badly and not sick this time. 

“Jiyeon-ah~ Let’s go. We have to go to school now!”

Jiyeon pointed to the lunchbox on the table and glared at her sister.

“Ah! Right! Aigoo… I’m so forgetful nowadays. I’ll put it in your bag, alright?” Hyomin smiled and placed it in her bag, right in front of her eyes, and she finally smiled again.

“Shall we go now?”

“Jiyeon wants to pee first!”

“Then Jiyeon can go to pee, and unnie will wait for you right here.” Hyomin pushed her towards the washroom, while sitting on the couch, waiting for her to be back.

At the meantime, her eyes scanned the photos hanged on the wall.

One of them had her family photo on it. Jiyeon, Hyomin, and their parents. If they wanted to see their parents, they couldn’t any longer since they had passed away years ago.

Ever since then, Hyomin became so independent. She had to take care of herself, and also her sister. They went to school together, and Hyomin met Woohyun, who was in her class in high school. They got together during their first year, and were still going strong up till now, their third year.

However, things started falling apart when Jiyeon changed into a kid, in just one night.

When Hyomin was in year two, Jiyeon was in year one. She made sure Jiyeon went into the same school as her, so they could have a lookout for each other.

And she did.

She was so happy to be in a school with her sister, and she studied diligently.

Most importantly, she was happy she found her true love in the same school too. Jiyeon met Myungsoo, who was in the same class as her when they first joined.

Myungsoo confessed sweetly, and romantically, and the couple was finally together.

After a year of being together, sad to say, Myungsoo got into an accident when he was on his way back to the America.

Yes, he moved to Korea from America, since he wanted to be independent. He was on his way back to America to visit his family, but the plane he was on had some trouble, and Myungsoo gave his life because of that.

It was devastating for his family, and of course, for Jiyeon.

The body was brought back to Korea, since it was nearer, and his family flew over after hearing the sad news.

Jiyeon stayed by his side the whole time, even until they cremated him.

She went to the hall every single day, just to be with him, be near him.

But finally, after visiting him for almost a month, she had a high fever, and when she woke up, she turned to a kid.

The doctor said she had burnt her brain too much, and a part of her wanted to forget everything. So her mental nerves brought information to her brain and told her that she was only 5.

Hyomin couldn’t do a thing too, and all she did was to cry in Woohyun’s arms that noon.

Jiyeon was amused at everything she saw, and she exclaimed that both Hyomin and her grew so big even though she was only 5.

Sometimes, she would cry for her parents too, and Hyomin would have to explain to her they weren’t here anymore.

It was hard for Hyomin, but thank goodness, she had endured everything, and Jiyeon listened to whatever she said.

She was glad that at least, Jiyeon was a good kid.

“Unnie!!!!!!”

Hyomin finally regained her senses and she smiled brightly at the girl who was in front of her, “You’re done?”

“HMM!”

She eyed her body and inspected it, only to realize her bunny home-slippers were still on her feet. “Jiyeon-ah. What happened to your shoes?”

Jiyeon let out a sheepish giggle and wriggled her toes playfully. “Jiyeon likes bunny~ Jiyeon wants to wear this to school!”

“You can’t do that.” Hyomin smiled and pulled her down to the couch beside her. “Take off your slippers now, Park Jiyeon. And wear your shoes.”

“Unnie~~~”

“No arguments, dear.”

Jiyeon pouted sadly and wore her shoes at once.

“Jiyeon can wear this again when we return home from school, alright?”

“OKAY!” She let out a wide grin and nodded her head happily, “You promised, unnie!”

“Yes, I promised.”

“Let’s go now, unnie! We have to go early so we will be back early and Jiyeon can wear the bunny slippers again!”

Hyomin stood up from the couch and stretched her hands out, “Let’s go then!”

Jiyeon took her hand obediently, and they walked to school together, after Hyomin reassured their apartment was locked up.

They walked down the streets, as Jiyeon rocked their hands back and forth, earning a sweet smile from Hyomin the whole time.

“Are you that happy to go to school?”

“YUP!”

“Why?”

“Jiyeon can see Sehunie again!”

“Sehunie? Ah… Your new friend?”

“YUP! Sehunie helped Jiyeon carry my bag yesterday, unnie~ Sehunie is my new friend!”

“I see.” Hyomin smiled in bliss, happy to know she had finally opened up to someone in her class. Maybe, just maybe, she could return to normal soon.

“Oh! Woohyun oppa is here!” Jiyeon exclaimed in joy and ran towards the school, when she saw Woohyun standing right in front of the gates.

“Woohyun oppa!”

“Awww~ Here comes my favorite girl.” Woohyun cooed as he wrapped his arms around Jiyeon tightly, “How’s your weekend, Jiyeon-ah?”

“It’s so fun! Unnie brought Jiyeon to the playground!!!!”

“Really?”

“YUP! And unnie said Woohyun oppa can join us next time!”

Woohyun tilted his head over to Hyomin, only to find her blushing madly. “Come here, babe.”

Hyomin stepped into his arms willingly, and they shared a small kiss.

“AHHHH~ Unnie and oppa is kissing again!” Jiyeon giggled as she clapped her hands happily.

“Don’t be silly, Park Jiyeon.” Hyomin said with her cheeks red, and pulled her into the school with her quickly.

Woohyun laughed at his girl’s reaction and rushed to her side, grabbing her free hand at once.

They sent each other a sweet smile, and returned to their classroom after sending Jiyeon to hers. They even made sure she was seated on her place before leaving too.

Jiyeon sighed in bliss as she took out the books and her pencil case for the upcoming lessons. Well, she had exemptions for the lessons and exams, but Hyomin insisted Jiyeon to go to school since she wanted to help Jiyeon improve with her situation. Maybe, just maybe, Jiyeon could return to her old self after interacting with lots of people.

“Jiyeonie~”

The said girl looked up and found her best friend smiling at her, “Sehunie! You’re here! Sehunie is late today.”

“I’m sorry.” Sehun pouted sadly as he took his seat, which was right beside hers. “Sehunie will treat Jiyeonie a lollipop as a form of apology!”

He pulled out two lollipops and asked her to choose one before opening the other for himself.

“Jiyeonie likes lollipops!”

Sehun smiled and ruffled her hair before bringing out his own materials too. He, on the other hand, had to study for tests and exams.

The day went on as usual, and the Park sisters were on their way home again, but with Woohyun too. “Unnnnnieeeee~”

“What do you want now, cheeky girl?”

Jiyeon giggled happily and pointed to the ice-cream man standing by the road.

“You want an ice-cream?”

“YES!”

“I’ll go get it for you.” Woohyun suggested, but Jiyeon pulled him back.

“Jiyeon can get it on my own!” She exclaimed and ran towards the ice-cream man immediately. She ordered one, and waited for it anxiously.

Her eyes never once let the ice cream, and she paid the man with her coins before taking the ice-cream over from him, “Thank you, ice-cream ahjussi!”

The man could only smile at her behavior.

Jiyeon was the ice-cream as she moved back to her sister, but all of the sudden, she was being knocked down by a stranger, and her ice-cream fell onto the ground.

She looked at the ice-cream on the ground, and almost at once, her tears began to drop mercilessly.

Her loud wails caught the stranger off-guard, of course. “Hey! Hey! I’m sorry! I’ll get you a new ice-cream, alright? Please don’t cry!”

He was surprised at how a high school student would cry at such small matters, but he had no choice but to get her a new ice-cream.

When he returned with a new ice-cream and handled it to her, she stopped crying immediately and began on it.

“Thank you… ahjussi…” The way she hiccupped amused him, and he thought she was the cutest girl he had ever seen.

“It’s my fault since I bumped you, so don’t thank me. Where are you going?”

Jiyeon was about to reply, but her sister came instead. “Jiyeon-ah! What’s going on? You took so long and I got so worried!”

Jiyeon smiled and showed her ice-cream to her sister, “Unnie~ Ahjussi bought me this ice-cream! Ahjussi made my ice-cream fall and he got Jiyeon another one!”

Hyomin wiped her tears away and frowned sadly, “Next time, I’ll buy it, you hear me?”

“Woo… Woohyun?!”

Woohyun raised a brow in confusion and turned to the stranger, “Hojun hyung!”
