“Oppa~”

Minho, who just returned from his schedule that night, nodded his head and went straight into their room.

“Oppa! Have you eaten? I can heat up the food for you. I haven’t eaten yet though. Want to eat with me?”

“I’ve eaten.”

Jiyeon pouted sadly and stared at the bathroom door he just slammed in front of her.

“Oppa, what happened to you…?”

After a year of madly in love, Minho finally proposed to her and they got married. Minho was a celebrity, and Jiyeon knew exactly how busy he will be.

Even with that thought in mind, Jiyeon still agreed to be his wife since they were madly in love.

Their marriage life went through well for another year, before Minho turned weird and cold towards her.

His attitude turned cold towards her, and she had already lost count of the date he started to change his attitude towards her.

Jiyeon pressed his head against the door and let her tears fall freely, “Oppa… Do you not love me already?”

Of course, she received no response and answer.

Jiyeon dragged her feet out to the dining room and threw the food away. Having no appetite for dinner, she landed her tired body onto the couch.

Not long after, Minho came out from their bedroom with his casual attire.

Jiyeon blinked at him and walked up to him as he walked towards the front door, “Oppa, are you going out tonight again?”

“Yes.”

“Will you be back tonight?”

He had been out every single night, and Jiyeon had absolutely no idea where he went.

“No.”

Even before she could speak, Minho had already left the apartment.

Jiyeon stared at the front door in disbelieved and plopped her body back down on the couch. She brought her legs up and hugged it tightly against her chest, finally bursting into tears.

“Oppa…”

Jiyeon cried madly into her knees and sniffled from time to time. “Oppa… What happened to you?”

She tilted her head up to stare at the wedding photo right in front of her, hanging on the wall, “Oppa… You’re so mean. What happened to us?”

Jiyeon dragged her feet to now her-bedroom and simply lay on the bed tiredly, “I will stop this, oppa. I will try to find out why you do this to me.”

All of the sudden, her stomach churned badly and Jiyeon rushed into the bathroom to throw the gastric juice out.

“What’s happening to me…?” Jiyeon still had her tears dropping down her cheeks as she leaned back against the washroom’s wall.

After a few minutes of crying, she returned to her bed and lay on it tiredly. “Oppa… Please come back to me… It’s cold…”

With that thought in mind, she fell asleep immediately.

Morning arrived.

Minho didn’t even return home and headed over to his schedule at once. “Hyung, I’m here.”

“Eo. How’s your wife, Minho-ah?” Jonghyun started the topic since they already knew about his wrongdoings.

“Eo…? She’s… She’s fine.”

“Don’t lie to us, Choi Minho.”

“What?”

“Seriously. We saw you walking into Miss A’s dorm building yesterday night while heading out for a night walk together.” Key rolled his eyes since he loathed cheaters a lot, well, who would love cheaters?

“I…”

“Seriously. Just admit it. Are you cheating on your wife now? You guys are only married for a year!”

“I just…” He turned speechless at the accusation towards him. “It just happened.”

“Right. And I hope your wife divorce with you soon.”

Minho widened his eyes and stared at Key blankly, “Divorce?” That word never once crossed his mind as he cheated on his wife.

“What? Do you think she will stay with you when she found out? Don’t be so naïve, Choi Minho. I’ll be the first to advice her for a divorce. Sister-in-law is such a poor girl. She married you even though she knew you are a celebrity and now you cheated on her with another celebrity.”

“I…”

“Stop.” Key held his hand high and glared at him, “I’m so disappointed in you, Choi Minho. I don’t ever wish to see you again, outside work.”

“But-”

“Who’s the ?”

“Suzy.” Minho answered honestly, feeling so ashamed of himself.

“Hul.” Onew shook his head in disbelieved, “Such a disappointment and it happened in my group.” He stood up, attempted to leave the practice room but once he placed his hand on the door knob, his phone rang immediately.

Onew picked his phone out from his back pocket and answered it immediately. “Yes, hyung?”

It was from their manager.

“Get everyone to stay in the room. I’m coming now.”

Onew did as told and made sure no one left the room at that moment. In just a few minutes, their manager stormed into the room and smacked Minho harshly on his head.

“AREN’T YOU MARRIED?!”

Minho held onto the back of his head and stared at his manager in surprised, “Hyung!” Even s were surprised.

“TELL ME WHAT’S THIS!” Their manager slammed the newspaper against his chest and it fell onto the ground immediately.

Minho picked it up and read the headlines on it. Soon, his eyes widened as big as saucers. “EXPLAIN IT TO ME! WHY ARE YOU SEEN GOING INTO MISS A’S DORM? AND WHY ARE YOU SEEN HOLDING BAE SUZY’S HAND COMING OUT FROM THEIR DORM?”

“This…” Minho’s hands shook badly even after the newspaper was being snatched away from s.

“CHOI MINHO! ANSWER ME!”

“I…”

“He cheated. Easy.” Key answered for him instead.

Their manager gasped in disbelieved, just the same reaction he received from the rest of s when they knew about it.

“YOU HAVE A WIFE, CHOI MINHO! SUZY SHOULD KNOW THAT TOO! THAT !”

“Don’t call her that.”

“HYUNG! YOU HAVE THE NERVE TO SIDE WITH THAT NOW?” Taemin, who kept silent the whole time, finally snapped.

And he did more than how s reacted. Taemin went up to Minho and punched him right on his cheek.

Tears welled up in his eyes as he glared at Minho angrily, “I’ve always harbored a crush on Jiyeon noona, for your information. If she didn’t love you so much, I would have fight for her instead. I gave you my blessings and now this is how you treated her?”

His declarations left s in shock. “Taemin-ah…”

“You aren’t even fit to be a human, Choi Minho-ssi.” Taemin scoffed at Minho before storming out of the practice room.

With that, s slowly left the room, leaving Minho with his manager alone. “You’ve screwed everything up, Choi Minho. I have no idea how to clean your up already. Jiyeon was such a good wife to you and you cheated on her, how disappointing.”

Minho stumbled onto the ground and stared at the newspaper blankly.

That was the moment he regained his senses back. That was the moment he finally felt wrong with his own actions.

That was the moment he felt the love for Jiyeon never leave his heart at all.

He was just being seduced by Suzy for the time-being.

Minho ran out of the practice room, and ran all the way home. Thank goodness the reporters haven’t reach the building yet.

Minho keyed in the pass-code and stormed into his apartment immediately.

And there she was.

His wife was staring into the thin air, sitting on the couch, hugged her knees against her chest tightly. He spotted the newspaper on the table and he knew, she read the news already.

Minho took three long steps to her side and squatted down to her height.

But her eyes were blank.

It showed nothing but pain and hurt.

“Jiyeon.”

Jiyeon blinked and tilted her head to face Minho, but her face was expressionless.

“I’m sorry, Jiyeon. I’m so sorry.”

“Oppa.”

“Yes?” Minho looked up when she called for him with his eyes full of hope. “Yes, baby?”

“How long…”

“Hmmm?”

“How long did you go out with Suzy?”

Minho frowned and wiped the tears off her face but she pushed his hands away, “How long did you go out with her? I’ve lost count of the days you became cold towards me.”

“Baby…” Minho lowered his head in shame and grabbed her hands tightly, “About 4 months? Or 5? I have no idea.”

“It’s been so long. At that time…” Jiyeon smiled tearfully as she glanced up to their wedding photo, “We were only 6 months into our marriage.”

“Baby…”

“Oppa.” Jiyeon smiled as her tears rolled freely down her cheeks, “Let’s get a divorce, hmm?”

“No.” Minho panicked at her decision. And that was the time he his world tumbling down. Without her by his side, how could he ever live on?

“I don’t want a divorce. I don’t want!”

“Okay.” Jiyeon agreed immediately, and Minho was too oblivious to notice her reason behind it. He wrapped his arms around her waist and buried his head into her laps, “Don’t leave me alone, baby.”

Jiyeon brushed her fingers through his hair and smiled warmly, for the last time, “Don’t you have to go for your schedule, oppa? I think you have to settle the news too.”

“I don’t want to leave you here.”

“Oppa, go.” Jiyeon brought his head up from her laps and smiled genuinely, “I’ll be fine. Go and get your job done.”

Minho cupped her cheeks and placed his forehead against hers gently, “Wait for me, okay? I’ll get the things done and return home, to you.”

Jiyeon nodded her head and pecked his lips lightly, for the last time. “Go on, oppa.”
