Myungsoo has had crush on Jiyeon for a long time, but for him, Jiyeon is a cold girl, it's really hard for him to approach her. One day, with the INFINITE's help, he built a plan to get her. He acted like he was a gay, he asked Jiyeon's help to make Sungjong fell for him cuz he knew Sungjong is JiYeon's best friend. At first, Jiyeon was really shocked, she didn't know what to do and that thing was extremely hurt her because of her feeling to Myungsoo. But she still agreed to help him, she wants Myungsoo to be happy, just that was enough for her. Day by day, Myungsoo still acted gay in front of her and she still tried her best to help him get SungJong's heart, their distance get closer than ever, not awkward anymore. On her birthday, he finally confessed the truth to her and also his feeling.

Extra: Please make Myungsoo and Sungjong so funny when they had to act in front of Jiyeon, even when they returned their dorm, INFINITE still laugh at them :))

“AH~ HYUNG! What do you want?!” Myungsoo finally raged after much nudging and pushing from s.

He was trying to concentrate and focus on that someone, but s just had to tease and disturb him.

“Nothing~”

“We just thought of bringing you out from your love sick world~”

Myungsoo rolled his eyes at their immatureness before turning his head back to that someone. “She’s so cold… I can’t even get close to her…”

“Why don’t you say you’re a coward, hyung?” Sungjong cooed, “She’s not cold. She’s my best friend!”

Myungsoo narrowed his eyes and glared at the youngest member, “But she looks cold and I don’t wish to leave a bad impression for her.”

“Seriously…” Sungyeol shook his head with a sigh, “Just admit you’re a coward, Myungsoo~”

“Yah! Lee Sungyeol!”

The members laughed at his red face again.

“Yah! Yah! She’s coming!” Hoya widened his eyes all of the sudden, as he nudged Myungsoo quickly. “Look!”

Myungsoo turned around at once, and indeed, she was walking towards their direction with her group.

“It’s their turn up on stage.” Woohyun whispered as he opened his arms widely for Hyomin. “Hey, babe~”

Hyomin giggled and hugged him tightly, “Woohyun-ah~ I missed you!”

Jiyeon bit back a smile as she looked at them. *They just love each other so much huh?* And her eyes travelled to s at once.

She caught Myungsoo, and he was looking down shyly.

Jiyeon sighed inwardly and lowered her head too. *When will I ever talk to him? I want to let him know I existed.*

She felt a nudge on her elbow, and looked at the culprit at once, “Boram unnie!”

Boram laughed and winked playfully at the youngest member, “Looking at someone, I see~”

Jiyeon pouted sadly as she fiddled with her fingers, “But he doesn’t even look at me…”

Boram was about to speak again, but stopped once she saw Sungjong right in front of them. “Jiyeon-ah~”

Jiyeon looked up and smiled when she saw her best friend, “Sungjong-ah~!”

Sungjong pulled her into a hug and they jumped around in joy, since it was long after the last time they met.

Sungjong took a secret glance at Myungsoo, only to find him cursing under his breath. *Stupid hyung~ Told you Jiyeon isn’t cold and you don’t believe me.*

T-ara went off for their stage, while Infinite stayed along the corridor, in their previous spots.

“Hyung…”

Myungsoo tilted his head up and looked at Sungjong, who had a smirk on his face. “You’re jealous when I hug Jiyeon just now, aren’t you?”

“Shut up, Lee Sungjong.”

The rest of the members laughed at his words while slapping him playfully. Woohyun snapped his fingers when he thought of a brilliant plan.

“I know. I have an idea.”

Myungsoo’s eyes widened and looked at him with lots of anticipation. “What? What to do?”

“Sungjong is Jiyeon’s best friend, right?”

“Yeah, so?”

Woohyun waved the members in, and spoke at a softer voice, “Myungsoo can approach Jiyeon using one way.”

“What way?”

“Say that you like Sungjong, and you needed Jiyeon’s help with him. Ask her for help to make Sungjong happy. How’s that?”

“OH MY GOD!” Sunggyu shrieked, but he had a happy smile on his face, “I didn’t know you’re that clever, Nam Woohyun!”

“I know right!”

The members were cheering in joy, except for the two mentioned guys.

“Hyung. You do know I’m not gay, right?” Sungjong hissed as he pulled his diva actions out. “I’m a perfectly straight guy.”

“We know.”

“And I’m not gay too.” Myungsoo hissed too, glaring at Woohyun for his idea.

“We know that too.” Woohyun smiled, ignoring his glare and patted his shoulder instead. “I think it’s a great idea though. You can get close to Jiyeon that way. Get to know more about her and you guys would be less awkward! You could confess to her when the time has come too!”

Myungsoo lowered his head and thought real hard about it.

Sungjong was by his side, praying hard he would say no.

But to his horror, Myungsoo nodded his head firmly. “Let’s do it then. It won’t hurt anyone too. My motive is to get close to Jiyeon, and that’s it.”

“YES!” The members cheered and high-fived each other, but there was still one who was groaning, “NO.........”

“Don’t I have a say in this?”

“Nope~” Sunggyu smirked and wrapped his arm around the youngest shoulder, “You’ll be fine. It won’t hurt too. You’re not the gay, Myungsoo is. And he’s the one moving on you. You can reject it, maknae~”

Sungjong finally found a smile back on his face again, “You’re right, hyung.”

“Of course!”

“It’s settled then! Let’s call it…” Hoya placed his fingers on his chin as he thought about it.

“Operation MSJY!” Dongwoo added, and that earned thumb-ups from the rest of them. It was a brilliant name too.

They returned home when the schedule had ended, and planned out their operation perfectly.

Myungsoo just had to get close to Jiyeon, asking her lots of questions about Sungjong, and ask her for help.

That’s it.

Of course, along the way, Myungsoo would get close to her too.

Operation MSJY finally began.

Infinite reached the SBS building for a variety recording, and fortunately, they had the same schedule with T-ara.

That made things so much easier.

Myungsoo was being pushed by the guys towards the group of girls, who were standing in the corner of the studio.

He took a deep breath and finally approached the group of girls, “Good evening, sunbaenim!” Myungsoo bowed politely and let out a shy smile.

Of course, Jiyeon was fluttering, and she could feel her heart jumping at his smile.

“Hello, Myungsoo~ Just call us by our names! Or call us noona! It’s fine.” Soyeon smiled and looked at him with a bright smile.

“And you’re here for?”

Myungsoo looked at Jiyeon and pointed to her sheepishly, “I have something to tell Jiyeon-ssi…”

Jiyeon widened her eyes and gulped hardly. *He wants to confess to me? It can’t be right? Nah, it can’t be. Okay, stay cool, Jiyeon. Stay cool!*

The girls gave Jiyeon a secret wink before she went off with Myungsoo.

They walked over the studio, to the other empty corner. “So… Myungsoo-ssi… What do you want to talk about?”

Myungsoo smiled as he rubbed his nape awkwardly, “Erm… You can call me Myungsoo, or oppa if you like. It’s fine with me.”

“Alright.” Jiyeon giggled as she nodded her head. “Myungsoo oppa, you can call me Jiyeon too!”

“Jiyeon.” Myungsoo tried the name with his lips, and it sounded perfectly nice to him.

“So? Oppa, what do you want to tell me about?”

“Right.” Myungsoo whispered and took another deep breath. “Jiyeon-ah, you’re best friend with Sungjong, right?”

“Yup! Why? Is there something wrong?”

“No!” Myungsoo smiled and ruffled his hair then, “I just… I know it sounds crazy but I need your help…”

“My help? Hmm? With what? Is it about Sungjong?”

“Yeah…”

“What’s wrong, oppa? You’re weird.”

Myungsoo sighed and lowered his head in embarrassment, “I like Sungjong.”

Jiyeon widened her eyes and blinked at him in disbelieved. *It can’t be… Right?*

“It’s weird to tell my members about it. So I thought I could get some help from you since you’re his best friend. You know everything about him… You will help me, right?”

Jiyeon bit her lips and lowered her head sadly, but she managed to compose herself quickly, “Yeah sure! Of course!”

She turned her head and looked at Sungjong from afar, rather sadly and full of envy, “I can help you with it. I know Sungjong well…”

“Really? You will?!”

“Of course! I want Sungjong happy too! But I’m not sure if he’s you know… interested in guys… We can try though, no worries!”

Myungsoo giggled and nodded his head shyly, “Thank you, Jiyeon-ah. I know I can count on you.”

The PD called for them, and Myungsoo quickly exchanged numbers with her before rushing over to his group.

Jiyeon dragged her feet back to the girls with a sad expression on, which caused the girls to grow worried, “What’s wrong? Is everything okay? What did he say?”

Jiyeon sighed and shook her head sadly, “My love doesn’t like me…” She let out another sigh before walking into the set, getting prepared for the recording to begin.

Myungsoo, on the other hand, returned to his group members with a wide grin on. “I’ve got her number! YES!”

They cheered for him and hugged him tightly, before bursting out into laughter once again.

Myungsoo could only look at them weirdly, “What’s wrong?”

“It’s just…” Hoya burst out into laughter again, and Dongwoo continued for him, “You looked so funny just now… Talking to her about your ‘gay’ self.”

The boys laughed madly, which caused Myungsoo to turn red. “Stop laughing!”

Sungjong was laughing too, “You have no idea, hyung~ It was just funny!”
