Extra: I know this is quite confusing but still I believe in you since you have such amazing ideas and plots :D oh ya and the both of them meet in the forest where they developed feelings for each other.         

“Lalalalalalala~” Jiyeon was singing to a random song she heard days ago, from the people in the town.

Jiyeon was currently in the huge green forest, skipping around happily.

She lived far away from town.

She lived in a cottage, in the middle of the huge forest.

Jiyeon grew up with a grandmother which brought her to the cottage when she was just a baby. She grew up knowing only this grandmother, who took care of her with her life.

Jiyeon was grateful to her, definitely.

As such, she did whatever the grandmother said.

Jiyeon finally reached the cottage after hours of skipping around the forest. She knew her way around too, of course. “Grandmother~ I’m home!”

“Jiyeonie?”

“Yes~”

“Come on in! I’m in the kitchen!”

Jiyeon hopped into the kitchen and placed a kiss on her cheek, “Hello, grandmother~ I’ve bought bread and butter for you!”

“Thank you, my dear.” Grandmother cooed before placing a kiss on her cheek too. “Now go and take a bath!”

“Sure, grandmother!”

Jiyeon giggled happily before hopping into the bathroom, leaving grandmother behind to finish the dinner up.

Grandmother sighed after she heard the running tap. “I’m sorry for you princess.” She was actually a fairy. A good fairy.

She was asked by the king and queen, to take care of Jiyeon – the princess.

Why?

The evil fairy threatened the king and queen that she will kill their princess when she was born. Feeling afraid of what she will do, the king and queen instructed the fairy to take care of Jiyeon instead – far away from the kingdom.

Jiyeon didn’t know about that.

She knew herself as just a normal girl in the forest.

She questioned grandmother why they were living in the forest – countless times. But all she received was ‘Why? Don’t you like living in the forest? It’s peaceful here, isn’t it?’

Jiyeon said no more and agreed instead.

She loved living in the forest. It was indeed peaceful.

“Grandmother! Is dinner ready?!”

“It will be in about half an hour!”

“Then I’ll head out for a walk!”

“Don’t go too far!”

“Alright!”

Jiyeon was out the next moment, with the huge cloak covering her body since it was cold in the forest.

Jiyeon walked the normal trail up the hills, down the rocks, and finally reached the beautiful waterfall.

She loved coming here.

It was amazing.

The scene was breath-taking, and the air was so fresh.

“Ahhh~ This is life!”

She loved her life.

Jiyeon stood there for a little long, taking in the beautiful scene, but only to hear noises behind the bushes.

She tensed up at once. “It can’t be bears, right…?”

She doesn’t know what was out there. She met a wild boar once, when she was way younger. If it wasn’t for her grandmother, she was sure she was the wild boar’s dinner.

And again, history repeated itself.

Jiyeon stumbled back a little as she stared at the bushes in horror. “Please don’t come out… Please…”

But it was of no use.

The next minute, the creature jumped out from the bushes. “AHHHHHH!!!!!!!”

Jiyeon covered herself with her cloak as she squatted down, hiding while trembling badly. But she felt nothing at all.

Weird.

Shouldn’t the bear eat her by now?

Jiyeon panted badly before pulling her cloak down slowly, only to find a white horse staring at her in confusion.

Jiyeon returned the same confusion to it. “H-Hello…?”

The horse made a happy sound and nudged her with his head.

That made Jiyeon smiled.

“Hey!” She ruffled its face and hugged it tightly, “I didn’t know it was a horse! I thought it was a bear! I’m sorry~”

“Jun-ah!”

Jiyeon blinked rapidly as she tilted her head to the right, searching for the owner of the voice.

But he wasn’t there.

Jiyeon moved back to her position and stared at the horse in confusion again, “Who is it?”

“Jun!”

Jiyeon turned to her left this time, only to find a male figure rushing down from the mini hill by the side. “There you are! Jun! Why did you run away huh?”

The horse made another happy sound before running over to the male.

He jumped around the male, and pushed him towards Jiyeon instead. “What? What’s wrong with you, Jun?”

And he finally got the picture when he saw Jiyeon. “O-Oh…”

He was stunned.

The female in front of him was so beautiful. “H-Hi…”

“Hello!” Jiyeon cooed, smiling shyly. “Is this your horse?”

“Yeah!”

“His name is Jun?”

“Yup!” The male figure ruffled Jun’s fur, which made the latter comfortable. “Right. I’m Myungsoo! What’s your name?”

“I’m Jiyeon! Park Jiyeon!”

“Nice to meet you, Park Jiyeon.”

“Nice to meet you too, Kim Myungsoo.”

They shared a great laughter before Myungsoo approached her, “So… Why are you here?”

“I lived here!”

“In the forest?”

“Yup! I live in the cottage down the hills!”

“You lived alone? Isn’t it dangerous?” Myungsoo frowned, not liking the idea of it.

“I lived with my grandmother!”

“Only?”

“Yup!”

“It’s only two women. It’s dangerous!”

Jiyeon smiled as she shook her head happily, “It’s not! No one lives here, only animals! Don’t worry about us, we lived here for so long and we’re still fine! So what about you? Why are you here in the forest?”

“Ah.” Myungsoo rubbed his nape awkwardly, with his free hand rubbing Jun’s fur, “We were on our way to Park Kingdom and got lost.”

“Really?”

“Yeah. This forest sure is huge huh?”

Jiyeon giggled as she rubbed Jun’s face gently, “I can bring you there! I know the way around here!”

“Really?”

“Of course. But I have a condition!”

“What is it?”

Jiyeon skipped to the sides of Jun, “Can we ride him? Please? I never once rode a horse before!”

Myungsoo laughed, while Jun skipped around her happily. “I guess he likes it too!” Myungsoo cooed before helping Jiyeon up the horse, and he got up behind her.

“Walk slowly, Jun. And follow Jiyeon’s instructions.”

Jun made another happy noise before walking, while Jiyeon instructed Jun the directions indeed.

They ended up in the entrance of the forest, “There! After this long road you will see the kingdom!”

“Thank you, Jiyeon.” Myungsoo helped her down the horse at once. “So… I guess we’ll say goodbye here?”

Jiyeon smiled, rather sadly. “I guess so.”

“Goodbye, Jiyeon.”

“Goodbye, Myungsoo.”

Myungsoo walked ahead with Jun with a heavy heart.

“MYUNGSOO!”

Myungsoo turned around with a wide beam on his face. “YES?”

“Will you come back again?”

“Do you want me to be here?”

“YES!”

“THEN I’LL RETURN ONCE I’VE FINISHED MY WORK IN THE KINGDOM!”

“I’LL WAIT FOR YOU!”

Myungsoo rode his horse and they went off happily, with Jiyeon waving enthusiastically behind them.

They were attracted to each other right at once.

Days passed.

Months passed.

Jiyeon waited and waited.

But he didn’t come back.

Soon, she lost all her hopes on him.

“He must be playing with me.”
