User: Exoyeon

Pairing: Baekyeon, EXO

Plot: Jiyeon is an ordinary girl and Baekhyun is a werewolf. When Baekhyun get hurt Jiyeon saved him without even know Baekhyun is werewolf. She let him stay at her house till he gets well. And then they slowly falling for each other.

“LA-LA-LA-LA-LA-LA~ Sing a happy song~” Jiyeon used ‘The Smurfs’ tune as her alarm ringtone, and that ringtone rang again.

“LA-LA-LA-LA-LA-LA~ Singing all day long~”

Since Jiyeon was lying face flat on her bed, with her back facing the ceiling, she used her palms to push herself up and sat on her legs.

“LA-LA-LA-LA-LA-LA~” She stretched her arm and took her phone over to get the ringtone off. “Seriously… Another school day…”

She was only 19, and of course, she has to attend high school like every other teenager. She lived alone in a mini apartment in Seoul, thanks to her part-time job after school.

She was just an independent young girl.

Her parents left her when she was only 12.

No, they did not pass away.

They were still alive and kicking, and Jiyeon knew they weren’t in Korea any longer. They left her alone in Korea since they couldn’t even find a living for themselves. They left her, because they thought she was a burden.

Jiyeon didn’t mind that at all.

Instead, she was glad they left her.

She didn’t have to help them with their debts, and she finally found freedom. And she lived that way, up till her current age, and she was happy.

Her phone rang again, and it wasn’t the alarm, it was a call.

“Eo? Jieunie!”

“Wake up already? You’re early today!” Jieun chuckled at her happy voice before teasing.

“LEE JIEUN!”

“Alright~ Alright~ I’m calling to say I can’t work today. I have school events after our lessons ended. I’m sorry, Jiyeonie~”

“Psh! You’re always slacking away!” Jiyeon scoffed playfully, before they let out a happy laugh again. “It’s alright. Go and enjoy your school event, see you tomorrow!”

“Yes yes! I’ll be sure to work tomorrow!”

“You better be!”

They ended the call a few minutes later, since they had to prepare for school.

That’s right. Jieun wasn’t in her school, and she wasn’t her schoolmates. They were just colleagues who grew so much closer than classmates could ever be.

Jiyeon prepared herself quickly and grabbed a piece of plain bread before rushing out of her small apartment.

Well, let’s just say she was already running late.

She ran all the way to school, trying to get there on time, but fate doesn’t seem to be by her side.

Without knowing there was someone there when she turned around the corner, she simply just bumped into him when she turned abruptly.

“OOF!”

Jiyeon landed onto the ground with her , same goes to the guy whom she bumped into.

“I’m so sorry!” Jiyeon looked at the guy and bowed slightly to show her apology, as her hands were rubbing her .

That caused the stranger to chuckle at her cute actions. “It’s alright. Are you okay?”

Jiyeon stood up, with the help of the guy, and she nodded her head as acknowledgement. “I’m okay. How about you? I’m sorry. I didn’t see where I was running.”

“I’m fine. Don’t worry.”

Jiyeon smiled and finally looked into the eyes of the guy. And she had a shock of her life.

He had brown orbs but she swore she noticed how the orbs turned red for a moment before changing back to brown.

“Erm… I should go.” Jiyeon bowed slightly and was about to move but the stranger was blocking her.

“Wait. Where are you going?” He got her arms, and Jiyeon could feel that coldness in him.

“To… To… School?” Jiyeon tried her best to struggle out of his grip, but he was way too strong. Even stronger than a human.

“Not so fast, young lady. Let’s chat for a while longer, hmm?”

Jiyeon was about to cry. She shook her head and struggled about as she looked around for help. But the street was empty.

“I… I…”

“Let her go, Ravi.”

Jiyeon noticed how the stranger rolled his eyes when he heard that. “What do you want now, Byun Baekhyun? Are you trying to disturb my time with this pretty young lady now?”

“HELP!” Jiyeon braved herself and yelled.

Ravi turned his head back to her and glared at her.

“Your time with this pretty young lady?” In a flash second, Baekhyun was right by them, and he grabbed onto Ravi’s arms tightly. “And your pretty young lady is shouting for help!” He twisted his arm to the back and pushed him to the side.

Jiyeon hid behind Baekhyun and held his shirt tightly.

“Get lost now. And don’t disturb her again.”

Ravi let out a low and harsh growl but once he saw Baekhyun’s eyes turning into bright red, he gave in.

Jiyeon still had his hands tightly holding onto the shirt of his, and she was shivering.

Baekhyun, of course, felt that. He had a great sense of hearing and sniffing. So he turned around, grabbed her hands in his, and smiled warmly, “Don’t worry. He’s gone now.”

“You… You know him?”

“Yeah. Some time back, we were friends. Not anymore. Don’t bump into people again, you hear me?”

Jiyeon nodded her head obediently, and she had her head lowered. “Thank… Thank you…”

“It’s alright.” Baekhyun held her hand and guided her to walk again, “Don’t be afraid. I’ll accompany you to school, okay?”

“You will?”

“Yes.”

Jiyeon smiled and followed him, allowing him to guide her to her school.

“Thank you, Baekhyun-ssi.”

“It’s fine. Go in now.” Baekhyun pushed her to the school compound and waved to her, “Don’t be scared now, alright?”

Jiyeon waved as she nodded her head too. “Bye bye~” And she headed in to her school compound quickly.

She was definitely late, but since it was her first record, she was just given a warning.

Jiyeon was a good student. She never was late, and she had her grades up in the Top 3, always. She listened attentively during lessons, and her homework were always handed in on time.

But not on that day.

Her thoughts flew back to how the first stranger called Ravi, had his eyes turned red so quickly.

And how he was afraid of the second stranger, Baekhyun.

Jiyeon let out a heavy sigh inwardly, as her mind stayed on Baekhyun. *I hope I can see him again so I can return my gratitude to him.*

And he lingered in her mind for the whole day.

“Class dismissed.”

Students were cheering since the last lesson ended. They rushed out of school, some went off back home and some went to the mall, enjoying the rest of the day.

As for Jiyeon, she had to head over to the Family Mart for her job. She had been working in the store for years, and everyone in the neighborhood would know her.

“Hello oppa!”

The manager waved her over and hugged her tightly, “Aigooo~ My favorite girl is here! Finally!”

“Psh! Jang Wooyoung! You only like Jieunie! When did you like me?!”

“Don’t say that!” Wooyoung laughed and pulled her over to the counter, “Come on. You know I love you both equally.”

“I know you love her more than me.” Jiyeon snickered and finally took her uniform to the back room to change it on before returning to the counter.

“And young lady. You shouldn’t call me by full name. It’s rude.”

“Jang Wooyoung~ Jang Wooyoung~ Jang Wooyoung~” Jiyeon began singing his name as she cleaned the counter up.

Wooyoung could only laugh at her silly actions as he stocked the things up on the shelves. “Silly! You’re lucky we’re in the store now! Or I’ll be sure to chase you down!”

“Be my guest, Jang Wooyoung~ Come on!”

Wooyoung was challenged indeed. He placed the cup noodles on the shelves and stood up, eyeing her playfully, “You asked for it, young lady~”

Right when Wooyoung was halfway to her, Jiyeon turned to the entrance and bowed politely, “Welcome!”

Wooyoung turned surprised and he too, turned to the entrance and bowed quickly, “Welcome!” He straightened his back up only to find Jiyeon laughing at the counter, and the shop was empty.

“PARK JIYEON!”

Jiyeon continued laughing out loud, and Wooyoung did chase her down.

It was always a fun day for Jiyeon to work at the mart. The day finally ended, with lots of customers during after-work period, and they finally closed the shop.

“Don’t worry, Wooyoung oppa~ Your Jieunie will be here tomorrow~”

“Of course I know that.” Wooyoung smirked and nudged her as they stood outside the store after locking it. “Go on. You have school tomorrow. Do you need me to send you back? It’s late.”

“I’m fine, oppa! You should go too!” Jiyeon smiled happily and finally went her way. “See you tomorrow!”

After walking for a few distance, she could finally feel the shivers in her spine again. The cold of the night made the incident in the morning came back to her.

*Don’t be silly! It won’t happen again! You’re not that unlucky are you, Park Jiyeon!*

Jiyeon patted her chest as she tried to calm herself down before starting her journey back home again. “Everything will be fine.”

She took another step, only to stop as she heard some heavy breathing sound.

“No way…”

Jiyeon shivered and took deep breaths in, trying to hear the sound again. “Oh no…” The heavy breathing was still there.

She wanted to run away.

She wanted to run back home and pretended she heard nothing.

But she couldn’t.

Her heart wouldn’t let her do that.

Jiyeon took timid steps and turned around, but there was nobody behind her. She stretched her neck and looked around the area, only to find it empty.

Then where did the heavy breathing came from?

Jiyeon gave up and was about to head back home, but a pair of legs, protruding out from the dark alley, caught her eyes.

Jiyeon took small steps and walked into the alley, only to find a guy sitting on the ground.

He looked so much in pain.

Without thinking if it was a trap, Jiyeon bent to his height and pushed him lightly, “Are you okay?”

The stranger had his head lowered, and he groaned in pain when Jiyeon pushed his arm. It seemed painful to her.

Jiyeon pulled her hand back and gasped lightly, “I’m sorry!”

The guy finally tilted his head up, slowly, to look at the girl who came for him. “It’s… It’s okay…”

“Oh my god! Baekhyun-ssi!” Jiyeon could figure out his face since his face was still alright. “Are you hurt? Is it painful? Why are you in a fight?”

She cupped his cheeks, without realizing, and scanned his face, “Baekhyun-ssi! Where else did you injure yourself?”

“I’m okay. Go.” Baekhyun shook his head weakly and pushed Jiyeon away. “Go.”

“No! I have to safe you! You can’t be left here alone!” Jiyeon whimpered and brought him up. He didn’t even have the energy to reject.

And Jiyeon brought him all the way home.

She placed him on the couch in her living room and hurriedly got a bucket of water over with her towel.

“I have to clean you up, Baekhyun-ssi.”

Jiyeon had no thoughts of him being a guy, and she simply helped him out of his top. “I hope you don’t me doing this…”

Baekhyun smiled and closed his tired eyes, “Thank you.”

Jiyeon shook her head as she tapped the wet cloth on his bruises and cleaned the blood away. Weird enough, there were scratches on his chest too.

Jiyeon took no notice of that and continued cleaning him up. “I should thank you. You helped me in the morning too. Baekhyun-ssi, who did this to you?”

“Just somebody…”

She definitely saw the guilt in his eyes.

“Is it… Is it that Ravi guy?”

Baekhyun shook his head and avoided her eyes. “It’s not him.”

“Don’t lie.” Jiyeon pouted cutely as she looked at him, “I know it’s him. You don’t have to lie to me. I can see it in your eyes.”

Baekhyun turned silent, and Jiyeon knew she was right. “I’m sorry.”
