Plot: Chanyeol comes back to Jiyeon after leaving her and ignoring her for 3 months. It was because he learned that Jiyeon has a new "Apple-of-the-Eyes". Jiyeon always fangirl about her crush that makes Chanyeol realize that he loves Jiyeon and can’t bear to see another man be with Jiyeon.

Jiyeon went into his room and jumped on his bed, trying to wake him up. “Yeolie! Wake up now! It’s time for school!”

Chanyeol groaned and hid his face into the pillow beneath him, “Shut up, Yeonie.”

“Come on, Yeolie! It’s already 7.30! We’re going to be late! Who told you to play computer games last night huh?!”

Chanyeol finally sat up on his bed after countless jumping of hers, “How did you know that?” He rubbed his head as he yawned tiredly.

“Mama told me that~”

Chanyeol scoffed and went into his bathroom, leaving her alone in the bedroom. And when he returned, he saw his bed done and uniform neatly placed on the bed.

Jiyeon was nowhere to be seen.

“Psh. Always doing this for me. Won’t you get tired?” Chanyeol took it for granted and wore his uniform at once.

He walked down the stairs, and there she was, with his mother in the kitchen.

It had always been like this.

Jiyeon would be helping him in everything, and she had no complaints at all.

Chanyeol took his bag, but Jiyeon stopped him at once, “Wait, Yeolie! Your lunchbox is still here!” She ran to him and placed it into his bag for him.

Chanyeol nodded his head as gratitude and went out of the house.

“Aren’t you going to eat your breakfast, Yeol?!” His mother shouted for him, but he simply waved her goodbye.

“Seriously… I won’t make breakfast for him anymore. He won’t even take it.”

Jiyeon smiled and took a piece of toast she made and bite another piece in , “I’ll give it to Yeolie, mama! See you tomorrow!”

“Only you would appreciate it.” Mrs. Park smiled and waved her off, “See you tomorrow, Yeon. Enjoy your school!”

Jiyeon waved and ran towards Chanyeol, trying to catch up with him. “Yeolie! Wait for me!”

Chanyeol continued walking, ignoring her cries, but in the end, she managed to catch up with him, “Why didn’t you wait for me, Yeolie!”

He shrugged his shoulders and pulled his ear-piece out.

But before he could place it into his ears, Jiyeon pushed the toast to his mouth. He had no choice but to open and take it in.

“YAH!”

Jiyeon smiled innocently and patted his shoulder, “Mama made it for you! Eat it!”

Chanyeol rolled his eyes and took another bite of his toast.

“Come on, mama made it for you! Don’t be like this!” Jiyeon even nudged him, but he ignored her and placed the ear-piece into his ears.

Jiyeon stopped her tracks and looked at his back as he continued his walk, “Are you finding me irritating now, Yeolie?”

She sighed sadly and followed him, stepping onto his footsteps on the snow to school. Their school was near, and they lived at the same neighborhood.

Although they lived a block away from each other, Jiyeon made it a point to go to his house every morning to get him up and she wanted to walk to school together with him.

It had become a habit over years, and she still does it till date.

Yes, they met years ago since they were classmates, and had been friends since then.

Jiyeon had the urge to take care of that clumsy and sloppy boy since well, he couldn’t take care of himself, and it turned out to be her habit over the years.

She had no complaints, not even one.

But he took it for granted.

And now, he found her irritating. To the extent that she was annoying him. So he tried his best to ignore her, in hope that she would get the hint.

But the dense friend of his was just slightly slower than others when it came to this type of things.

Jiyeon stared at his huge back and let out another sad sigh again, “I must be real annoying to you huh? You used to walk by my side.”

She finally got the hint, after weeks.

“YEONIE!” Chanyeol screamed and waved brightly at the girl. He was catching up with her since they were late, as usual, and Jiyeon doesn’t want to be late.

He finally caught up with her and landed his arm on her shoulders while panting badly, “Yah! Yeonie~ why did you walk so fast?! You should wait for me, understand?!”

“Psh! It’s because you’re too slow! I told you we’re going to be late and you’re still dragging your own time, taking your sweet and hot bath!”

“But you know how I lost track of time easily, Yeonie~ Come on, don’t be mad now!”

Jiyeon ignored him and walked ahead, but Chanyeol ran up to her and tickled her instead. That made her laughed at once.

She forgave him immediately and they walked to school hand-in-hand.

Jiyeon recalled the time they used to go to school together. But it turned out to be the opposite way then.

Jiyeon was the one running after him, and he didn’t even bother to acknowledge her.

It hurt her, of course. It wasn’t one or two days. It had been a week. She finally noticed it after a week of his treatment.

But she pushed it off thinking that he must be having a bad mood recently.

Jiyeon ran up to his side and smiled widely, “Yeolie~ Should we go to the mall later? As usual?! We used to go to the mall and hang around, remember?! It’s been long, don’t you think so?!”

She received no reply, and when she turned to his side, he was already gone.

Well, he took the longer way of the traffic light, since he doesn’t want to listen to her blabbering. Jiyeon sighed and waited for the traffic light they usually crossed to turn into the green man.

“Am I that annoying?”

That was all she could ask herself.

“YEONIE! WHAT ARE YOU DOING OVER THERE? YOU’RE SO SLOW! CROSS NOW, QUICK! OR IT’LL TURN INTO THE RED MAN!”

Jiyeon woke up from her dream and ran across the street, since it still has 10 seconds left for her to cross.

“Yeonie! Stop day-dreaming okay?! We’re crossing the road! It’s dangerous to lose your senses!”

Jiyeon pouted sadly and lowered her head, “I was just thinking about my homework. I didn’t do it! And Mr. Kim would surely kill me!”

Chanyeol sighed, in pretence, and brought out a new set of homework for her. “Take it. I knew you would sleep once you reach home yesterday so I did another one for you.”

“OH MY GOD, YEOLIE!” Jiyeon hugged the papers tightly before pouncing onto him happily, “YOU’RE THE BEST, YEOLIE!” She squealed like a kid as they walked into the school building, making Chanyeol smiling the whole time.

“JIYEON-AH! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! CROSS THE ROAD NOW OR YOU’LL BE LATE!”

Jiyeon woke up from her another-day-dream when she heard her best friend calling for her from across the street, “I’M COMING!”

Jiyeon ran within the same 10 seconds, and finally walked into the school building with her best friend.

“What were you thinking just now, Jiyeon-ah? You’re seldom lost in thoughts!”

“It’s nothing, Jimin-ah.” Jiyeon sighed sadly, but Jimin saw right through her at once.

“It’s Chanyeol again huh?”

Jiyeon sent her an amused look, but she simply waved it off. “Oh come on. It’s so obvious. You like him but he’s been ignoring you. What the hell happened to him anyway?! He’d been ignoring you for one whole week!”

“I don’t know.” Jiyeon could only sigh at her words, “I guess he find me too annoying huh?”

“No, you’re not annoying. He’s the one who’s annoying.” Jimin groaned as she saw Chanyeol walking into the classroom.

“He doesn’t even look at you now. Damn it. He’s such an .”

“Come on, Jimin. He’s not.”

“Yeah, yeah. Your perfect prince charming is the best huh?”

Jiyeon smiled sadly and buried her head into the book on her table, “He is cool and charming though.”

“Stop, stop. Stop it, Park Jiyeon.” Jimin sighed and shook her head sadly, “He doesn’t worth your time and youth like this. Look, there are so many other guys out there much more handsome than your prince charming.”

Jiyeon shrugged her shoulders and let out another sigh, “Maybe I’ll open my eyes someday…”

“I really wish it’s today.”

The teacher came in and lessons began as usual.

Jiyeon would steal glances at Chanyeol from time to time, but he didn’t even let his eyes landed on her for a second.

He was happily chatting with his friends the whole day, and his smile turned even wider when the class prettiest girl walked to them.

Jiyeon frowned sadly and lowered her head in shame, “It must be her, right? Yeolie loves someone pretty like her and not me.”

“Psh.” Jimin scoffed and glared at the y looking girl, “You call that pretty? Oh please, I think you’re way more beautiful than her.” She dragged the sullen girl out of the classroom, not staying longer to look at them.

Jiyeon caught a last look at him, but he was still laughing happily with the girl beside him.

She had finally decided what to do.

Since he found her annoying, then she just had to disappear from his life. She wouldn’t want Chanyeol to hate her even more, so she decided to leave his life, once and for all.

It would turn awkward for them, for sure, but since it was what he wanted, Jiyeon would give it to him.

“I’ll stop pestering him from now on.”

Jimin was more than glad to hear that. “You should have done that long ago, my poor baby.” She was just like her mother, caring so much about her.

“Now now, let’s not be sad. Let’s go to the mall after school alright?! I’ll cheer you up!”

Jiyeon forced a smile and nodded her head, “Thank you, Jimin-ah.”

“Don’t have to thank me now. Just thank me when you got over that jerk.”

Jiyeon was about to argue for Chanyeol again, but Jimin sent her a glare. “No more prince charming, and no more handsome Chanyeol. He’ll be titled as jerk now, got it?”

Jiyeon smiled slightly and nodded her head in obedience, “Okay.”

“Good girl.”

They returned to the classroom when lunch break ended, and continued the lessons for the rest of the day. Jiyeon was still stealing glances of him, but it was lesser than before. She was trying her best to ignore Chanyeol’s existence, and she tried her best to not look at him.

At least, she had made some improvement.

Jimin pulled her to the mall in the noon, and they walked around happily.

Indeed, a smile returned to her lips, and she was happy to be outside again.

“Let’s go there, Jiyeon-ah!”
