Pairing: Myungyeon, Infinite

Plot: Jiyeon (dumb geek in school), best friend and seatmate of Myungsoo (smartest student and a gangster). No one knows in school that they are best friends even the Infinite. They will only show their affection to each other when they will be alone. The school was used that Jiyeon was being bullied by Myungsoo and Infinite. But only Myungsoo oppa was allowed to bully her. Even Jiyeon was dumb she is still in the rank 2 while Myungsoo was the top 1. He's the one that helping her in the exams, oral and etc. and its because he LIKES HER. But never confess.

“Psst! Psst!”

Jiyeon frowned and pushed her spectacle up her nose as she leaned away from her locker. She turned her head to the left, and then to the right, but nobody was there.

After pouting sadly about it, Jiyeon returned her attention to her locker and arranged her books again.

“PSSSSST!”

Since the locker room was empty, Jiyeon grew scared and afraid of her surroundings. She could feel a cold shiver running down her spine as she grabbed onto her books even tighter.

Jiyeon closed her eyes tightly and turned around slowly, too afraid to see who the ‘culprit’ was.

However, as her body was fully turned, all she could hear was a set of loud laughter.

And strange enough, that laughter sounded so familiar.

Jiyeon opened her eyes quickly, only to find her best friend laughing madly at her. He had his hands on his tummy, and his body was bent over since his tummy hurt so much from laughing.

Jiyeon pouted sadly and stormed over to him cutely, “SOO! YOU TRICKED ME!”

“I did not. You’re too silly to even think that way.” Myungsoo patted her head and cupped her cheeks gently, “So how are you today?”

“Hmmm~ Other than being shoved by you in the morning, I’m happy!” Jiyeon smiled as she tried to .

Myungsoo frowned with his lips pouted out sadly and moved his hands down to her arms. He pushed her sleeves up and inspected her arms carefully, “Are you alright? I didn’t push you that hard, did I?”

Jiyeon giggled happily and pushes his hands away before cupping his cheeks gently, “Don’t worry, I’m fine. It doesn’t hurt at all.”

“I’ve told you before right? We should just tell the rest we’re friends! And you won’t be bullied again. Why must I have to be the one to hurt you? You’re my best friend!”

Jiyeon used her palms to cup his lips, not allowing him to speak further, “But if we did that, you will not be popular any longer, and you will be hated by the rest too. We won’t know how your friends think of you again, and I’ll feel guilty. I don’t really mind so it’s okay, Soo. Don’t have to feel bad about it. I will be happy as long as you nurse me better.”

Myungsoo scoffed playfully but he had a smile on his face, “You and your silly logic.”

He leaned his head to the right, trying to find what she was doing with her locker, only to find a familiar keychain hanging on its ceiling.

Myungsoo simply leaned forward and pushed the keychain gently, “So you keep this here?”

Jiyeon turned around and played with the small bear keychain too, “Yeah. Of course I would have it. You gave it to me! I know you have it on your phone but I can’t put it there. So I can only hide it here, and no one will know.”

Myungsoo smiled and pulled her into a back hug tightly, before burying his head into her hair, “Why do you always do things for me. You should let me do something for you too, Ji.”

Jiyeon shook her head, which caused Myungsoo to chuckle since her hair tickled him, and she tilted her head to his side just to look at him. “You don’t have to, Soo. You being my friend, is good enough.”

“MYUNGSOO! WHAT’S TAKING YOU SO LONG?!”

Myungsoo panicked when he heard his friends’ voice in the locker room, after a loud slam of the door.

Jiyeon, who turned smarter than him during times like this, slammed her body against the locker hardly and fell onto the ground while holding her arm.

Myungsoo widened his eyes and stared at her in disbelieved.

Before he could even speak, his friends found him and strolled over to the duo, with sly smirks on their faces.

“Soo! You’re so selfish! I didn’t know you’re bullying her alone! We should have been here and witnessed the whole scene!” Sungyeol cooed and leaned his body down to look at Jiyeon, “Look at this poor girl here~ Such a poor thing~”

He straightened his body up and turned around to Myungsoo, “Can I kick her too? Can I?”

“NO!” Myungsoo roared and shoved him away before standing in front of Jiyeon, but Jiyeon shot him some frowns and he took the message.

“Only I can touch and bully her. She’s my toy!”

His friends made disapproving noises but he wouldn’t even bulge. He looked down to Jiyeon and frowned at her, but his voice was stern, “Don’t let me see you again, nerd. Or it’ll be worse next time.”

Myungsoo thought none of his friends saw his expression, but how he thought wrong. The youngest actually saw it, and he found it peculiar. How would a guy who bullies be sad after what he did? But he did not speak more about it and kept them to himself.

Jiyeon nodded her head timidly and lowered her head, not looking straight into his eyes since she doesn’t want to see the sadness in it.

“Let’s go, guys.” With Myungsoo’s one sentence, his friends followed him and walked out of the locker room, after sending snickering glances towards Jiyeon.

The poor girl heaved a sigh of relief before standing up again, gathering her books into her bags before turning back to her classroom.

Murmurs were heard around her, and she could hear exactly what they were talking about: which was her.

However, she paid no attention to them.

Jiyeon settled down on her seat and took her books out. As her books was neatly out on the table, the door opened once again, and in came the group of nosiest students in school.

Indeed, the group of gangster, also known as Infinite, and of course, her best friend was one of them.

Once again, she could hear whisperings around her, but this time round those murmurs were about the group of gangsters who just entered the classroom.

They too, paid no attention to the rest of the students and returned to their seats too.

“Good luck with another 3 hours sitting with the geek, Myungsoo~” Dongwoo teased before returning to his seat, which was further down the aisle.

Myungsoo almost punched him right in his face if it wasn’t for Jiyeon’s expression. He slammed the bag down on his table and sat on his chair comfortably, not even bothering to get his books out.

Jiyeon sighed and shook her head slightly, *Stupid Soo. No books, no studying, and a gangster. You still could get first in school. How did you do that, Soo?*

Myungsoo lay on the side of his head on top of his arms, which were on his bag, and pretended to close his eyes after having the perfect view in front of him.

Of course, his eyes were never closed. Others would think he was actually sleeping, but no. He had his attention fixed on his best friend the whole day.

Just by looking at her, he could feel his own heartbeat increasing at a crazy speed.

*My girl. How could you be so perfect? Others don’t see that but I do. You may be dense and silly every time, but you’re still perfect just the way you are. I love you, Ji. I love you.*

Jiyeon, on the other hand, didn’t know he was staring at her too. She had her attention on the board, but she would get lots of question marks in her head as the teacher explained. Nonetheless, her attention was still on the board.

Myungsoo took his phone up and placed it on his table, openly. Well, he won’t get scolded even when he was caught since his teachers wouldn’t even bother to catch him. He had the highest score even after not listening to lesson, so why should they still bother him?

Moreover, he’s a gangster.

His teachers wouldn’t want to get into trouble with him too.

Myungsoo clicked into his inbox and sent a message to the one right beside him.

Jiyeon, who jumped up slightly at the vibration in her pocket, frowned cutely and took her phone out.

“Ji Ji Ji Ji Ji Ji Ji Ji Ji Ji Ji Ji~ Come to my house later~” She read the message quickly and answered a simple text instead.

“K.”

Myungsoo almost flipped the tables at her reply, but he kept his cool after witnessing how hard she tried to concentrate on the board.

But he wouldn’t give up bothering her. The expressions on her face were simply priceless and he swore his heart melted so many times after seeing them.

“Come on, reply my text properly!”

Jiyeon took a look and chucked her phone to the side, which made him furious.

Myungsoo punched harder onto his phone and glared at her.

“REPLY ME NOW OR I’LL TELL THE CLASS ABOUT US!”

Jiyeon gulped nervously and typed the message with her shaky fingers.

“Here! I’ve replied! Please don’t say, Soo! You promised me! ):”

Myungsoo finally smiled when he saw her message. She even replied an emotion! He snuggled deeper into his arms and sighed silently in bliss but only to feel another vibration on his table.

He raised a brow and took a look at his phone again.

“Please don’t say? Soo! I’ll go to your house later with your favourite Bubblegum ice-cream!”

Myungsoo winked at her and even sent her a flying kiss, which made her smiled in the end. She returned her attention to the lesson, and he returned to his job: staring at her lovingly.

The lesson ended in no time, which was fast for Myungsoo, and he had to leave with his friends. As usual, his friends gathered around his table and would definite find a chance to tease the poor girl. “Myungsoo~ Aren’t you going to say goodbye to the nerd?”

Myungsoo sighed and picked his bag up, “I’m not in the mood today. Let’s go.”

Infinite shrugged their shoulders and followed him out of the class. Of course, his actions went into Sungjong’s eyes at once. He knew something was up with his hyung.

They went over to the arcade and hopped around machines, just to kill time, as usual. They were only there for half an hour before Myungsoo finally decided to head back home.

He had more important things to do.

“I’ll go first, guys. I’m tired.”

Infinite nodded their heads and waved lightly, since they were currently racing the arcade cars. Sungjong frowned and looked at Myungsoo’s figure. “Hyung, I’ll go too! It’s late!” And he hopped away even before the others could say a thing.

Sungjong made a point to follow him closely, yet he won’t allow Myungsoo to see him. Indeed, he did it perfectly since Myungsoo went home happily.

That made Sungjong even more curious. “Why would hyung be so happy?” Sungjong was hiding behind the car owned by the opposite house.

And the next moment, his questions were answered.

He saw Jiyeon pressing the telecom and Myungsoo rushed out immediately. Sungjong saw how the duo hugged tightly, and it was Myungsoo who initiated it.

Sungjong had his eyes widened the whole time even up till how he saw Myungsoo pulling Jiyeon, the geek he always bullied, into his house.

“So this is why he doesn’t like to bully her…”

Now he got the whole idea, he felt even happier since he doesn’t even like the idea of bullying in the first place.

And he finally decided what he should do. With that happy thought in mind, Sungjong turned around and skipped home happily, with a bright and happy smile on his face the whole trip.

On the other hand, Jiyeon, who was just being pulled into his house, was being pushed onto the couch by the happy Myungsoo.

“Where’s the ice-cream, Ji?”

Jiyeon sighed but a happy smile was on her face, “Ja~”
