Jiyeon love Myungsoo, but Myungsoo loves Suzy. One day Jiyeon reveals his feelings to Myungsoo and unexpectedly Myungsoo receive Jiyeon. Kim Myungsoo met Bae Suzy during his first year of high school, in a club activity he joined: art club.

At the beginning, he joined the trial lesson during club day because he was bored, and drawing was all he knew.

He was about to leave the lesson and head over for another club trial lesson, but his eyes managed to stop at the girl who just entered the lesson.

And he couldn’t get his eyes off her from then on.

When he heard that she will be joining the club, accidentally, he joined too, just for the purpose to see her.

And he did see her during club lesson.

They talked once in a while, with Myungsoo taking the initiative, asking her for some pencils and art materials. Typical excuses.

Their relationship maintained as that, and much to Myungsoo’s surprise and happiness, she had no boyfriend yet.

So he had a chance.

But he was a coward.

He was a coward in love alright, no one can blame him.

He was getting more and more desperate when he saw Suzy talking to guys sometimes, during lunch period or even during club activities.

He got more anxious.

But he was still a coward.

And so, an opportunity to test Suzy’s feelings for him came right into his hands.

He grabbed it, definitely, that was for sure.

But he wouldn’t ever imagine that his actions and decision to test Suzy’s feeling would turn out fruitless, and in turn, hurt him badly.

2009. March

Myungsoo was looking at the woman, yet again.

She was walking down the corridor after her washroom break, and of course, she had to walk passed Myungsoo’s classroom.

There his eyes went again.

Right at her, until she disappeared out of his sight.

Myungsoo let out a satisfied sigh and smiled to himself, rather foolishly.

That was it.

Nothing else.

He just looked and admired her from afar, doing nothing else to get closer to her. It had been half a year since he had a crush on Bae Suzy, and yet, he took no actions yet.

That noon, he was being asked to the rooftop, through a note.

Being a curious person he was, he walked up straight away when school ended. He wasn’t fearful since he knew that handwriting was obviously from a girl.

What could a girl do to a big man like him?

Nothing but a confession.

And he had experience on it alright.

It had been half a year since his high school began, and there had been over ten of the girl population confessing to him secretly.

He rejected all of them, and he was prepared to reject it that noon too.

Myungsoo stepped into the rooftop, and saw a girl with her back facing him. *I was right. Confession again.*

Myungsoo walked up to the girl and tapped her shoulder lightly, “Hi! Did you ask me out to the rooftop? I’m Myungsoo!”

The girl turned around with a wide yet shy grin on her face, “Yes! It’s me! And I’m Jiyeon! Park Jiyeon!”

But right when he saw the girl, he thought of something. He thought of a plan which was so useful and helpful to himself.

Why only to that girl?

Because she was a beauty.

And his plan needed a beauty in it.

“Myungsoo! I know there were lots of girls confessing to you before and got rejected. But I just want to give it a try! No harm trying, right?” Jiyeon smiled happily, and Myungsoo smiled in return too.

“So I’m here to confess to you, yes! You’d guessed it right! I like you, Myungsoo! Hmm… since the beginning of the year! I saw you when you’re in art club trial lesson! But I’m not good in art so I couldn’t get in even though I tried so hard. They said my dinosaur looks like chicken!”

Myungsoo laughed genuinely at her word. *Cute too!*

“But it’s alright! I joined the broadcast club instead and I’ll be broadcasting live from second year onwards! Okay, that was off topic!” Jiyeon giggled sheepishly while rubbing her nape cutely, “So… would you like to go out with me? It’s alright if you reject me though. I really wouldn’t take it to heart! I-”

“Okay.”

Jiyeon stopped blabbering and stared at him in shock, “Okay?”

“Yes, okay.”

“Okay to what?!”

“Okay. I will go out with you.” Myungsoo smiled lovingly, melting her heart immediately.

“Really?! Really?!?! You would?! You would go out with me?!”

“Yes.”

“ASSA!” Jiyeon fist pumped into the air happily, jumping around at once, like a happy kid. “Then we’ll set a date for our date! Can we? Can we?!”

“I don’t mind.” Myungsoo shrugged his shoulders, rather lazily, but it went off her eyes. “Tomorrow, after school?”

“Okay!” Jiyeon agreed, definitely. “So I’ll see you tomorrow in front of the school after lessons ended?”

Myungsoo nodded his head in agreement, and watched Jiyeon rushed off in embarrassment immediately.

He turned his head back towards the sky and sighed deeply, “You would be jealous when you see me with another girl, right? Suzy, I’ll make you look at me soon.”

And he left the school too, heading back home for the day.

The next day arrived quickly, and right when school ended, Myungsoo waited for Suzy to walk passed his classroom before walking behind her.

He made it not obvious, and when he reached the school gate, he ran passed Suzy just to get over to his date.

“Myungsoo!”

Myungsoo smiled in bliss and grabbed her hand at once, acting as though what couple normally did.

That brought whispers around them immediately.

Of course, it went into Suzy’s ears too.

She looked at them, at their hands, and frowned deeply in anger.

Myungsoo, however, was eyeing her the whole time. He saw how fast she turned away from them and easily deduced that she was jealous, since she doesn’t want to look at them anymore.

*ASSA! Bae Suzy~ Jealous, aren’t you?!*

When they arrived at the junction further down the road, they had to split their way. Myungsoo and Jiyeon turned right, while Suzy turned left.

Even when they turned, Myungsoo was still eyeing his crush.

And she did turn around.

Myungsoo thought she was looking at them, yet again, but she was glaring at Jiyeon the whole time.

The guy smiled happily to himself while walking down the streets with Jiyeon, who was blabbering nonstop about her holiday trip coming soon.

Myungsoo wasn’t listening, obviously, since he was busy fantasizing about Suzy.

So basically, both parties were on a different track.

They finally reached the mall, and that was when Jiyeon caught Myungsoo back to his senses. “Myungsoo! Shall we grab some lunch before going for a movie?!”

Myungsoo stared at her blankly instead, “We’re going for a movie?”

“Yup! You agreed just now!”

“I did?”

“Yup! I asked you and you were nodding your head!”

“Oh…” He was actually happily imagining about how Suzy confessed to him, in which he nodded his head in agreement. “Alright! Movie it is!”

“Let’s lunch first then!” Jiyeon dragged him over to the fast food restaurant, even helping him to get his share of food.

They finished it in no time, and Jiyeon dragged him up to the theatre, grabbing the tickets immediately.

She wanted to pay for it, but Myungsoo cut her off. “I’m the man, I will pay, no argument.”

Jiyeon could only beam foolishly at his cool side, “Then I’ll get popcorn?”

“You can still eat?”

“Yup! I have a bottomless pit in here~” Jiyeon smiled as she patted her tummy, before running off to the food counter.

Myungsoo got the tickets at once, and they moved in immediately.

However, during the movie, Myungsoo fell asleep.

Jiyeon saw it though, but she let it passed since she thought it might be boring for him to watch romance film, and indeed, he was getting bored.

After the movie, the duo walked around the mall, much to Jiyeon’s request, and finally went back home.

Myungsoo didn’t even suggest taking her home, which upset her. But she got over it soon, and went back on her own instead.

As long as she could get Myungsoo’s attention and love, she was happy.
