“Hyung!” The 5 year old kid ran towards his brother with a bright smile on his face, “Look at this! It’s a bug! Let’s keep this as a pet!”

But his poor brother was being surprised by his little friend and ran all the way to their mother, “Omma!!! BUG!!!”

Myungsoo frowned and pouted sadly as he tried to bring the bug closer to his brother, “Look, hyung! It’s not scary at all!”

His brother, who was just 3 years old than him, burst out into tears as he hugged her mother’s leg tightly, “BUG!!!!”

Myungsoo ran to the bushes and threw the bug away before running back to his brother, “Look, Bummie hyung! The bug is gone! No more bug!”

Kim Bum was afraid of bugs, and he was afraid of the dark and thunders too. So whenever it rained heavily, Myungsoo would keep his brother safe and hugged him tightly, as they slept together. That was because Myungsoo was the bolder one. He was more daring, and he was afraid of nothing.

As such, they grew up to be two handsome lads, but Myungsoo would still protect his brother whenever he needed help.

“Hyung!”

15 years later, they were still close as ever.

Kim Bum smiled and waved his brother over when he walked into the café. “Over here, Myungsoo!”

Myungsoo jogged over quickly and sat on the chair opposite of his brother’s. “Why did you ask me to meet here, hyung?”

Kim Bum smiled and eyed the waitress, “Look at that girl.”

“Eo? Hmm… Why?”

“How’s she?”

Myungsoo did a scan and analyzed the girl, “Let me test her.” He went over to the counter and the girl smiled brightly at him.

Myungsoo eyed her name tag and found out she had a common name, “Hi Jiyeon.”

“Hello, sir! What would you like to drink? Or would you like something to eat?”

“If I like to eat you, can I take you away?”

Jiyeon frowned and pouted sadly, “Sorry, sir. But I’m not for sale! But I can recommend some cakes for you if you’re hungry!”

Myungsoo widened her eyes at her innocent figure who was still smiling. *Didn’t she know what I mean?*

“But I wanted something tastier, like you.”

“Me? I’m not tasty! I’m full of sweat! It’ll be nasty to eat a human being too, sir! It’s wrong to eat someone else!” Jiyeon grew mad and frowned in anger, “Sir. We can’t eat humans, okay? I’ll get you a cake! I’ll give it to you for free since you’re so hungry!”

Jiyeon hopped over to the cake section and prepared a slice for him, “There! It’s chocolate chip, my favorite too! I’ll give it to you for free! Don’t try to eat humans again, okay?!”

Myungsoo took the plate of cake over to his brother, with a dumbfounded look on his face.

“So? How is she?”

Myungsoo smiled lightly and shrugged his shoulders, “Well, I’m not sure. She has no figure and she’s lame and childish.”

“Psh. But I think she’s as pure as an angel.”

“And may I ask why you are here? Aren’t you working, hyung?”

Kim Bum laughed sheepishly and rubbed his nape in embarrassment, “I had two hours long of lunch break every day, Myung. I got a promotion.”

“Wow! Hyung! Again?!”

Kim Bum simply nodded his head in embarrassment, “Yeah. Lower your volume, Myungsoo!”

Myungsoo cheered and pushed the cake to him, “Eat this, hyung! It’s free from your dream girl!”

“Really?” Kim Bum took a bite from the cake and smiled in bliss, “So yummy~”

“Psh.” Myungsoo scoffed, “It wouldn’t be this yummy if I bought it, right?”

“Absolutely~”

And his silly reaction caused the brothers to laugh in happiness together. “Oh right! I saw her in your uniform before, Myungsoo. I guess she’s in your school.”

“Really? I never saw her before though.”

“You only have your eyes on the s’ body.”

Myungsoo scoffed irritatingly and rolled his eyes, “Hyung. It’s the main point okay. Their body is how they expressed themselves.”

And as he said that, a girl with tight dress walked passed their table and sent a wink to him. Myungsoo smirked and bade his brother goodbye before joining the on the other table.

Kim Bum shook his head at his brother’s behavior and sighed sadly.

“Why are you sighing, oppa?”

“Eo?” Kim Bum jumped slightly but managed to maintain his posture, “It’s nothing, Jiyeon-ah.” He looked around the café and smiled, “There’s lesser customers now, right?”

“Yup! And it means it’s the time to clean the tables up~”

“I see~” Kim Bum giggled happily and spotted the time on her watch, “Oh, I have to return to the office now. I’m late!”

Jiyeon panicked with him and helped him with his coat, “Bye, oppa! Hurry back and don’t be late!”

Kim Bum waved happily and ran off, leaving the girl smiling brightly by the door. Of course, every second weren’t left unnoticed by his brother.

Myungsoo got the whole scene in his mind, and he took a note of the girl again. *Park Jiyeon. Are you interested in my brother too? Don’t worry, I shall see you in school and I’ll know soon.*

Myungsoo was keeping his eyes on Jiyeon for the next few days.

He made sure to know about her lessons, her schedules, and her daily activities, by following her and asking around, of course.

When a week was finally over, and after he found out she was living normally like a normal girl would, Myungsoo went up and down the whole school, just to search for his target. That was the first day he ignored other girls in school, which caused the whole population to widen their eyes in surprise.

Not once.

Not once did Myungsoo reject a girl before.

But that day, he pushed passed all the girls, only to search for his target.

He asked for nobody’s help, since he wanted to do everything, alone.

And he finally found her in the indoor swimming pool. It wasn’t hard to spot her anyway. That was because right when he entered the pool room, all eyes were set on him.

There was only one who continued swimming, and Myungsoo concluded it was her.

Indeed, when he went closer to the pool, it was his target: Park Jiyeon.

He stood at the end of the pool, where she was heading to, and squatted down to wait for her arrival.

However, Jiyeon tapped the wall by the side and took a turn to make another lap again.

That made Myungsoo furious.

Had she not seen him at all?!

He waited for another round, and this time, he made sure to catch her before she could swim away.

That’s right, Myungsoo became wet by doing so. With the struggling from Jiyeon, he simply turned even wetter.

Jiyeon gasped in shock and took her goggles off, “Eo? It’s you! The one who loves eating human beings! You’re in our school?!”

Myungsoo rolled his eyes and stepped away from the pool while brushing the water off his uniform, “Get out from the pool now.”

Jiyeon did as told and stood in front of him.

Myungsoo scanned her body up and down and shook his head in displease, “Even in swimsuit, you looked so normal and plain.”

Jiyeon raised a brow and tilted her head to the side innocently, “Do I have to look pretty in swimsuit? Nobody would see too.”

“Oh my god.” Myungsoo sighed and rubbed his temple lightly. *Why did hyung like someone like this?! Such an idiot. Oh, maybe it was just her act. She might be acting innocent to get closer to hyung! Right!*

Myungsoo smirked and grabbed her chin with his index finger and thumb before leaning closer to her, “You’re right. Nobody would see but from today onwards, I would love to see your body.”

Jiyeon wasn’t afraid at the closeness in between them. However, she turned confused, “Hmm? But you said it’s plain and normal just now…”

“Aish!” He gave up. “Whatever! I’m just here to tell you that you won’t get whatever you want from my hyung! So don’t you even step closer to him!”

“Who’s your hyung? And who are you? Why would I get close to your hyung and you’re here in front of me? I don’t remember getting close with guys though…”

Myungsoo ruffled his hair in annoyance and roared, “Kim Bum! Kim Bum is my hyung and I know you’re after his money. So I’m here to tell you, you won’t ever succeed!”

Murmurs went around the pool since everyone heard his loud yell, but Jiyeon remained confused, “I know Kim Bum oppa but why would I get his money? Is he rich? You’re his brother? And why are you so mean to me?”

Myungsoo grew furious and simply pushed her into the pool. “Are you seriously dumb?! Stop acting like a fool and stop acting so innocent! I know my brother got caught into your acts but I sure won’t!”

And he stormed off.

Jiyeon grew even confused at his words and swam over to the side to lean her head on it, “Why would I be after his money? That’s weird…”

She ignored all the things that happened before, and went back to her swimming again. Every two times a week, she would be swimming or running to keep her body fit.

On the other hand, Myungsoo stormed into the garden and kicked the hard tree in anger. “Are you ing kidding me?! Acting so innocent huh?! I won’t let you get what you wanted!”

Myungsoo waited for her by the gates, since it was the only way out. He waited for the next hour, and finally saw her figure rushing out.

He ran up to her side immediately and tripped her. “HA-HA-HA! Innocent girl just tripped!”

Jiyeon winced in pain when she saw her knee turning red, and stood up quickly, “It’s you! Oh! I’m sorry! I think I bumped into you!”

She bowed and simply limped away. Just like that.

Myungsoo stared at her retreating figure in disbelieved. “Are you kidding me? Seriously?”

He saw how she limped her way to the café, and told the boss about it. Within minutes, she came back out with a pout on her face. “I can’t work today… Mimi has no food to eat… I have no food to eat…”

“Mimi? Food?” Myungsoo definitely caught it since he wasn’t far away from her.

That’s right.

Jiyeon limped away and stopped at the pet shop nearby. Her eyes stopped at the small packet of pet and rubbed the glass sadly, “Mimi, we have to go hungry tonight.”

“So Mimi is her pet?” Myungsoo whispered and stared at her figure, feeling guilt rushing up his own body then. “Are you really this innocent?”
